Big thank you to 954 Mufflers for their excellent job on my Chevy 1500. We installed a new catback Borla S-Type muffler with a Y pipe to split a rear exit duel exhaust. They were able to order the part for me and bend their custom pipes to make my truck go from single side exit, to rear duel exit. It sounds incredible! John, the owner, reassured me on the job, walked me through their process, showed me the pipes, ordered the muffler directly from the manufacturer and even showed me several other similar jobs to put my mind at ease. Him and his team even took into account that i haul a trailer for my job site. They strategically bent the pipes to run over my chassis so that I wouldn't have issues with the pipes hitting anything or going over speed bumps. The job was completed quickly, without any delays or issues, and the service team did a great job at talking over the process with me so I knew what was going on. I feel very comfortable and secure with 954 mufflers and my new truck. my truck runs smoothly, with no noises other than the rumble of my exhaust, and no droning on the road. I have utilized their services before when they were near the Hollywood Fashion Mall. Based on my prior experience, I sought them out to replace the exhaust system on my 1990 300zx: cat back magnaflow 2.25 inch muffler, stainless pipes with Vibrant ultra quiet resonators. As soon as I left the shop, I heard a loud droning noise inside the cabin at 2000-3000 rpm. I immediately returned and the installer rode and listened. I agreed to see if it would go away eventually, but it did not. I returned a few months later with the same problem. The installer put the car on a rack and told me that was why I had the Vibrant resonators and there was nothing they could do. $1800 and I no longer enjoy my vehicle. The droning noise is horrible. read more

My wife's car, a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek was so loud that you could hear it down the street. I brought it in to the car dealer and they told me that the entire exhaust system was rusted away. The cost to replace it would be several thousand dollars. I decided to get a second opinion and looked on Yelp. The best reviews were for 954Mufflers. I know it's always a gamble to believe anything you read on Yelp as being fact. So , I decided to go to 954Mufflers and see what they will tell me. Though they were busy, they put my car up on the lift. I was called over to see what they found. I expected them to say the same thing that the dealer told me. I was shown that the resonator had a small hole which was causing the loud noise. Yes it was rusted underneath but I was told that it was not a problem. The cost to replace the resonator and labor was $175.00. Warranty for one year. I said do it. Had the work done in less than 30 minutes. Car sounds good as new. I 100% recommend 954Muffers. I took my Toyota C-HR to 954Mufflers to see what they could do to give me better performance, sound and look. The owner greeted me right away, shoke my hand and took my car up on the lift and worked his magic. He talked me through all the steps. Every suggestion he made was right on the money. They broke a hanger off my $2500 exhaust they took off, swept it with a broom as if nothing happened and shrugged shoulders when asked about it. They banged the living life out of the exhaust to get it off as quick as they could. Also revved the car without even asking. Do not recommend. read more

When I arrived I had two people ahead of me, it took about 45min and it was my turn. Both my Catalytic Converts appears to be originals (2006), they were dropped and replaced by high-flow (Magnaflow) catalytic converters. I have been a customer here for years... I've done 3 cars here. A Lexus, Audi, and an Acura. The they handle each situation correctly and they tell you the truth about what the car will sound like. What is my worst fears is having a car and chopping up the exhaust system and accidentally making it sound like a lawnmower. Went in on a Saturday for a muffler repair due to the fact that I hit a speed bump and it just cracked off. I couldn't take the airplane noise caused from the breakage.
