Where do we even begin with this place. We looked forward to some Pho all day and the second we stepped into 98 Center the voice of an angel greeted us. For the next hour Cozy took the most amazing care of us, and if he was a special we would of only ordered him -- cause what a tall drink of yum! Surprisingly decent Vietnamese food in the middle of a tourist trap in the desert. Don't get me wrong-- some significant flaws, including noodles that were a touch too close to tasting like copier paper instead of actual noodles-- but the broth was decent enough. The pork belly appetizer was prettier than it tasted, but still surprisingly good for Moab. Stopped in last night 10.31 for dinner. I was greeted with a smile when I walked in the door. Place almost full but I got a small table immediately. Syd was my server and she introduced herself and and was very nice. She answered a few questions for me and I placed an order. My food came out maybe 10-15 minutes later and everything was accurate and looked awesome. Side salad with the ginger dressing was awesome. Very fresh and the dressing was perfect. Banh mi with pork was excellent! Really really good. And I tried a cup of pho since I had to walk about a mile back to the hotel and it was a bit cold out. Pho was really tasty as well. Terrible service and inept management. Doesn't matter how good the food looks. We were so excited to try it but nevermind! Heads up: if you walk in and see the restaurant is packed, a lot of people waiting for their food and you're hungry, turn around and find another place to dine at. Their staff couldn't handle it. We walked out after an hour of no food, and the guy next to us left without even placing his order. Long story short, they clearly missed our order but the way they handled it pissed us off. We had restaurants miss our orders before but we still walked out happy. We eat out a lot and I can't recall the last time I gave a one-star review as I know how it can impact a business. But we honestly don't think this restaurant deserve any business from us. We were seated and placed our order. We patiently waited for MORE THAN AN HOUR for food, from 6:15 to 7:17pm on a Wednesday night. No one ever wondered why we were sitting there for so long without food. Even a girl came to refill our water bottle, but it didn't occur to her that our table was empty. Finally, after waiting patiently for one hour, we asked about the status of our order. She asked whom we ordered with. It doesn't matter at this point! If we've waited for an hour and no food was served, our order probably got missed. The funny thing was, she didn't even apologize at all, not even feeling sorry, nothing. Instead she said "Did you guys place your order?" What kind of retarded question is that? Did you freaking take our order? Finally we had enough and decided to go somewhere else to eat because we're hungry and didn't know how long more we needed to wait. My husband was nice enough to walk up to let them know we're leaving. The staff said "Can I get you anything else?" Hahaha funny! You want us to order another appetizer and wait for another hour? Poor management and the staff didn't know what to do or say to make things right. What they should've done was to apologize, to acknowledge their mistake and possibly to offer a comp, at least a discount would be nice, in order to keep us waiting for a little bit more. Instead they didn't do anything to rectify it so we left. We were naive enough to wait for one hour, the guy next to us left after 15 minutes of no attention from any server. Not your traditional Thai food place, but it's a surprisingly great find in such a small place like Moab. We loaded up on unexpected delights like the Thai nachos and the Thai kettle corn, but thoroughly enjoyed the Banh Mi tofu sandwich as well as the Thai steak noodle salad. The warm citrusy pho was very comforting after a rough day, and the vegetarian pickled deviled eggs were a great starter! Lots of tasty and healthy vegetarian options. A friend and I were visiting Moab in August. We were looking for a restaurant with great food, solid drinks, and a chill vibe. 98 Center checked all our boxes. We had such a great meal the first night that we went back the following evening. We tried a variety of dishes on the menu, and everything was fantastic (I highly, highly recommend the pork belly plate, pickled deviled eggs, and the banh mi - the banh mi was truly extraordinary). While we were there 98 Center had a special series of cocktails, a portion of the proceeds of which went to support progressive causes in Moab. The drinks were great, and we were thrilled to support local activists. The staff were also incredible. We had a great time both nights and learned quite a lot about the restaurant, about the culture of Moab, and about Utah. I've lived in Chicago, D.C., and the Boston area, and have spent a lot of time in New York City and the Bay. I'd put my meals at 98 Center up there with the best meals I've had in major cities across the country. I'd give this place 6 out of 5 stars if I could. read more

If you are vegan or health conscious, this is the place to be. Their Vietnamese inspired menu is made for both non and meat eaters, and everything tasted fresh, seasoned, and delicious. Their customer service is personable and friendly. They were intentional about spelling my name correctly, but the one time they didn't - she wrote cute emojis next to it (see picture). I ordered the bahn mi vegan sandwich with chips for a hike, and I ordered the vegan bahn mi nachos twice for dinner after hikes/traveling. You can never go wrong with vegan nachos, but these have a bahn mi spin on them. We recently came here on vacation while visiting Arches National Park and were so very grateful to find vegan Vietnamese food here because it is located so close to the park. We had the vegan steak and cheese, banh mi, and pho which were all delicious. We love the ordering process where you order at the register then wait at a table. It was simple, yet efficient. We enjoyed everything that we ate. I will say, however, that if you are looking for authentic Vietnamese food, this probably isn't the place but it comes pretty close. It's more like Americanized Vietnamese fare, but still delicious nonetheless! Also, I thought it was a little on the pricey side for what you get, but maybe because it's in a touristy area. Asian fusion is definitely what you get here. I needed to get some Pho broth in my system. I love the set up of the restaurant. You ordered up front with option to leave your tab open. I'm amazed that they offer the broth as a separate order. My hubby was very happy and said: this is for sure Asian fusion. The pork belly is tasty and so is the scallop. During the offseason in Moab, not too many restaurants are open, especially later in the evening. Thankfully this spot not only stayed open late, but also served some good food to boot. Came here on two consecutive nights - Monday and Tuesday; both being crowded with some wait time. Put your name down and they'll call or text once the table is free (usually around 15-20 minutes). First time here, shared the Banh Mi Steak Salad ($15): a large bowl of seasonal greens, avocado and steak. Very well made and didn't leave us too full (probably could have used more beef). Next time had the Beef Pho ($13) for myself - a large bowl of warm broth, noodles, and tender beef that was much needed on a cold night. Apart from that, their desserts and drink selection set them apart from the other restaurants in the area. Service here does their best considering the amount of people flooding in. Your best option for dinner in the area if you can snag a seat. read more

However, I was shocked at how yummy it was. I would order again and again, it was that good! The pho was also delicious! People have complained it was bland but I couldn't disagree more. The peppers were spicy and the broth had great flavor. Honestly exceptional for takeout as well. The pho broth, noodles and toppings all came in separate containers so we could customize it to be exactly how we wanted. You absolutely MUST try their bevies as well. I'm not generally one to order non alcoholic drinks at a restaurant, but these were TOP NOTCH!! We tried all three on the menu. They're basically elevated non alcoholic cocktails. After hoisin sauce though it tasted amazing. I'd recommend keeping hoisin sauce on deck if you're getting the tofu banh mi because it adds some extra flavor that I think it's missing. Incredibly overpriced, even in a city like San Francisco you won't find far at $18 a bowl. The broth is incredibly salty, which makes me think it had a lot of MSG in it.
