I was working at a tire shop one holiday weekend and two older Honda vehicles came in. Each vehicle wanted 4 brand new tires. During the initial sale of both vehicles, the flow of customers must have been overwhelming. The keys got mixed up when the person at the counter brought them from the register to the garage where the installation took place. Before we started on both vehicles we made sure the key wasn't in the ignition. Now what was strange is we both had trouble getting the key out. How can there be trouble with both vehicles? After trying for 10 minutes we decided to start working on the cars and just keep the windows rolled down. After completing both cars we called the customer and informed that we had trouble getting the keys out, and asked them if there was a special way of method they had. They said not a problem they will be right over. After loading the groceries the customer go in and realized that this was their car but not their keys. She noticed it because there was a gym member badge on the keys. I found this to be very odd. How could the key to a different car start another one? The other customer had the same problem. When they both realized that they were having the identical problem, they too were also confused. That's when the both realized that they had each other keys. Both cars were able to start but none of them could take out the keys. This was a big problem because of the holiday weekend and I'm sure they had somewhere to be. After calling 3 different locksmiths they were all unable to come out and rectify the problem. I remembered that I had Saul's business card in my car from a previous encounter. I then ran to my car and found the business card in my glove box. When I called him I was afraid he wasn't going to pick up. Then when I thought I was going to get a voicemail he answered. I knew he wasn't at his business location. He must have been at a family function because I heard a lot of music in the background. When he answered he told me to hold on as he proceeded to a quieter location. I told him the situation and he said he would be there in 30 minutes. Upon arrival he started working on both vehicles immediately. Given the fact that both vehicles were similar he used the same tools for both cars. As I was watching him work, I had seen the inside of his van. He turned the whole inside of his van into a little mobile locksmith shop on wheels. He had everything in there that he needed. He finished both cars in one hour TO INCLUDE FIXING THEIR IGNITION, and was very friendly afterwards. I have used Saul and his crew twice, and have found them to be polite, thorough and really responsive. For the second job, I had two different problems that occurred almost simultaneously. Saul worked on my lock during the sub-zero temperatures until he resolved both issues. (One was just a screw that had loosened and jammed the door.). When it came to the lock that suddenly wouldn't turn, I thought I would have to buy a new one. But he did something that I didn't know was possible- essentially "tuned up" the fit between my old key and the lock, so nothing had to be replaced. He could have easily sold me a whole new lock and I never would have known better. I will use them again in the future if I ever have any lock problems. Ok so I locked myself out of my car. Found this place online and call them. What really impressed me was that they did everything they promised. In business it's very scary that you hire a contractor and they over charge or take more time than necessary. They told me they would be there in 25 minutes and they arrived in 20 minutes. I was impressed. I'm sure there are many locksmiths that can open a car. What sets apart companies is keeping their word and delivering what they promise.
