But anyways, my AAA guy had to tell me to the nearest AutoZone and this is the closest one. Because my car had a misfire, therefore I had to change and replace the spark plugs. My AAA guy came later and bought me the rest of the spark plugs that I needed. The other worker James was amazing too! This review is for my visit and experience - yours may be different. Two days ago, my "check…read moreengine" light came on. Yesterday my best friend from "across the pond" checked it out. It was a lean condition. Internet search turned up several possible causes - but I was certain it was the PVC valve. The on manager on duty informed me I was already registered in their special rewards. The manager on duty took expert care of me. However, neither he or I could find the location for the PVC valve. No worries, a mobile mechanic named Gabriel was around. He did find the part hidden behind the engine, perched against the firewall. It required removing several parts and the engine cover to reach it. The old one was shot - the wost one I have ever encountered, abnd PVC valves began being used here in the USA since 1965. However the replacement was slightly different - not much, just enough to make it impossible to get the new one fit onto the hard plastic junction. Gabriel massaged the new part and made it fit. In addition he discovered another vacuum hose to be disconnected. I was certain to give Gabriel a generous tip and drove off happy. I need to remember to spend at least $20 to earn another reward point. Only three more to go and I get a $20 discount on my bill. Now the repair took long ought to switch shifts and managers. I feel certain the second shift manager is incapable of earning a five star review. Like I said your experience may be different.
