Very poor service, just went thru drive thru spent $38.00. Didn't get the drink I paid for, no dipping sauce for chicken strips, no butter for biscuits. Asked for a "meat patty" got a hamburger, Very bad service, it's like they fit care anymore. When I called to let them know she started arguing with me telling me it's MY fault. I must start this review by confessing that I am not EXACTLY a culinary mastermind. As a dad, I TRY my best in the kitchen, but let's just say that my cooking creations often end up categorized as "interesting." So when my two kids and I decided to venture into the realm of KFC/A&W, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise and a much-needed break from my kitchen catastrophes. In May of 2023 it was my son's 12th birthday and I elected to take him and his 9-year-old sister to the Friendly City's KFC/A&W. This decision was driven by two significant reasons: being within half a mile of my apartment and receiving some coupons in the mail. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the ever-smiling cashier, Serenity who was happy to hear that it was our first time visiting. She somehow sensed my dad-cooking struggles and provided some desperately needed advice on what to order. Thankfully, she effortlessly transformed our dining experience from an almost certain disaster to a delightful occasion. And to top it off, she offered to buy my son a burger since it was his birthday. Fast forward two weeks later, and we found ourselves returning to KFC/A&W for another enjoyable meal. This time, our dining fate was in the hands of a capable employee named John. Not only did he provide us with fantastic service, but he also managed to get all of our complicated orders correct. It's a feat that I have never accomplished in my own kitchen! Now, let's talk about the food itself which was outstanding, especially given the price. My kids were all smiles as was I while we downed the food. I nearly lost a finger when I tried to take a french fry near my daughter's burger as she was not in the mood to share. My son also enjoyed his, and the root beer float was predictably a win. Factoring in the friendly staff of Serenity and John, KFC/A&W is now one of our go-to destinations for family outings. So, if you're a dad like me, with cooking skills that do not, speaking in highly technical terms, "exist", do yourself and your family a favor and head over to KFC/A&W. Great example of absente ownership. The dining area is kept too cold because cook staff set the temp. They keep it cold because the stoves and fryers heat up the kitchen area. I ordered the Chili Cheese Fries for $2.49. The Chili had a great flavor and the Cheese was good and plentiful. The Fries were crispy and tasted good. A very good snack / meal from this Drive Thru. read more

2 stars because the food was good. Drive thru service was the rudest I've ever had. The first visit the employee was just rude in tone which I can deal with if the food is good. Second - and last - visit we experienced the same rudeness but when our order was ready the drive thru employee literally threw the bag at me through the car window and walked away without a word. read more

I went thur the drive thru on Labor day with a friend ordered a burgerS 2 onion rings and some KFC. We parked across the street trying to find shade started to eat our onion rings and noticed they were soggy so went back thru the drive thru as the restaurant is closed the girl asked for the Onion Rings backed came back and gave us the same onion rings back refried. MY CONCERN. WE ATE OFF THOSE... AND WITH COVID BEING SUCH A CONCERN WHY WOULD THEY PUT OUR HAVE EATEN ONION RINGS BACK INTO A FRYER WERE THEY ARE SERVING OTHERS???????? Usually I never complain about Kentucky Fried Chicken but today I'm complaining I had the chicken strips with mashed potatoes and their tater fries this chicken strips looked like they were burnt or 2 crispy or something and they were gross I couldn't even chew them I didn't say anything I left the restaurant but I will not buy chicken strips from there again read more

Lucas from the drive thru is by far the best worker I've ever seen in my life. He has the best attitude and I use to be a manager at innout and they are nothing in comparison to his upbeat attitude. Someone give this man a raise!!!! read more

Three stars goes to Lucash the drive thru attendant this week. He is amazing and very very professional and pleasant. He needs to be looked at for management there. He needs to train others to be as efficient and polite. It doesn't matter what job your doing as long as you are enjoying and doing a great job at it. This place has went down hill!the lady forgot her name and didn't receive my receipt but she was and older short blonde'ish hair was all over the place and it wasn't even busy she forgot my root beer float,So my husband went in and got one..she was rude to a customer and older guys was waiting she said "did you want something" really? We ordered chicken strips, fries, and corndog bites. Not one packet of ketchup or any sauce was given. I will never go back. How hard is it to get an order right? And these are the people that are demanding 15 dollars an hour. .... the food is bad enough with some kind of sauce to coat the crap, but near impossible to eat plain. Worst meal that I have had at a Fast Food in a very long time. Service was three people running around doing nothing. Very unorganized. I waited ten minutes to get my order. Half of the order was cold. The other half I would not give it to my dog to eat. I went out of my way because of this A&W/KFC. Sorry, that I did. They girl that took my order needs to be retrained. I order a bacon cheese burger and fries combo. My fries were warm my burger was cold the bacon was under cooked. Only thing was the Root Beer was great. My friend ordered a Chicken combo meal it has fries that was covered in salt, the popcorn chicken was cold only thing he could eat was the chicken sandwich. Never again will I ever go back to this location worst meal. Stay away and don't was your money. read more
