What a little gem. If ambience is your thing, then this might not be your cup of tea, but if excellent Italian food and good service is what you seek, then this is a place for you. I was forced to choose a restaurant for lunch after a funeral from several hundred miles away. I had nothing to really go on except Yelp reviews. I wanted to try to find a place within 10 to 15 minutes of the cemetery. I chose a dozen different places and oddly, eight of the 12 were closed on Tuesday. Three more places didn't open until late in the afternoon. A Little Pizza Heaven was my only good choice. However, I was comforted by the fact that their reviews looked good and their menu looked extensive. The restaurant is located in an unassuming strip mall, and it doesn't look like much from the outside. However, one should not judge a book by its cover. We had 16 people which took up about half the seats in the restaurant. Nonetheless, service was very well done. There were no prolonged delays. The food was outstanding. Not one person had a complaint. Everyone ordered from the menu, so there was wide range of dishes, chosen, including pizzas, pastas, etc. I personally had chicken piccata, which was excellent. The chicken was cooked perfectly and sauce tasted just right. Portions were generous, and the price was extremely reasonable. If you are in the area and you enjoy Italian food, you really should give this place a try. read more

In town for work. I live in Cali and miss good pizza and Italian!! I studied all the reviews on yelp for 2 hours before coming over here. Pizza was amazing!! I ordered the antipasto appetizer/salad and will be enjoying it for the next couple days!! Pizzas are huge but they do have a personal pizza. Nice cozy restaurant with the East Coast feelz. Stopped here over the weekend on a ski trip with friends. Our friends highly recommended going here, based on a previous visit. As this was our first time here, we walked in, and it appeared at first to be a very casual, unassuming pizzeria. However, the food was fantastic, and the price was amazing for the portions! We had a number of pasta entrees, which fit our party of eight, including 4 big kids & 4 hungry adults. I would come back for the Frutti de Mare again .. . Generous portions of seafood! Great dinner option for groups and families. Parking out front or on the street. The only drawback is that there is only 1 toilet for the whole restaurant, so a small line formed waiting for the loo. The pizza here is incredible. Let me start off by saying the Margherita Pizza here is sensational. The crust is the perfect texture and the sauce and cheese is perfect. Service is what takes this down a star unfortunately. This place seems like it could use an extra staff member so that people don't need to wait so long at each step of the process. Whether it was people waiting to be seated, customers waiting to pick up their order, or delivery drivers coming to pick up, service here seems less efficient than it could be. With food allergies it is always hard to eat out. We were in the area looking at a college for my daughter, so decided to give this place a try on a Friday night. Unfortunately we did not have reservations because we weren't aware of how busy they would be . They did get us in and so glad they were able to. Between the wonderful staff, the very nice owner, and the amazing food it was so worth the little wait we had. We even went back the next day before we left to go back to NJ. Headed back from a long road trip, I couldn't eat another fast food item or gas station snack. I searched on Yelp for a spot not too far off the highway and found this wonderful, local pizza joint. With so many great Yelp reviews, I figured we couldn't go wrong. Everything was DELICIOUS! The men working were super nice and friendly, and we called ahead to place an order. The pizza is thin, like a New York slices and was absolutely delicious. We got a large Margherita pizza and it was enough to feed about three adults (but let's be honest, the two of us finished it). It was huge, but because the slices were so thin, we were able to finish it off. We aren't quitters!!! I also got a house salad and it was truly one of my favorite salads I've ever had. It had incredibly fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and deliciously-seasoned croutons. Truly one of the best meals ever. Don't miss it! Four of us came in on Saturday evening and decided to skip appetizers since we know that most dishes at this place are way plentiful. I opted For Jambalaya Pasta (Penne topped with Cajun seasoned chicken, shrimp and sausage in a tomato cream sauce). It tasted great and is definitely a must-try! Lasagna was tasty as well. Scallops and Shrimp con Vino (Scallops and shrimp tossed in a sauce of lemon butter and wine sauce served over orzo) was absolutely amazing. Stuffed Shells with Sausage and Mushroom in Pumpkin Cream Sauce was also delicious. All of them came with salad. We all went for their house dressing, and it was good! You have two options of portion for almost every dish, either a small portion, if you plan to finish your meal at the restaurant, or a regular portion, if you plan to take some leftovers home. Three of us couldn't finish our entrées and had to take some home. We finished our meal with two cannolis, regular and pumpkin. It's so obvious that places pay to keep good reviews flowing on Google. The real reviews are always on yelp. I have eaten here 3 times in total & always forget how they are because the food is so bland and tasteless. Yes they give good portions. That's about the only good thing. But for the prices it should be decent and have flavor. I ordered chicken parm (how do you screw that up? Idk) it was tasteless and not worth the wait, the money or my time. I could have made a better chicken parm myself and saved money aswell. This place is gross. Everything I've ever tried was forgettable. Nothing special about this place at all. Don't even attempt this without a reservation. One table had a reservation card on it with a time of 6:30 - we were there at 7:30 and they wouldn't release the table. There was another table that needed to be cleared but we were told it would be 45 minutes to an hour even for take out. The owner needs to look into a reservation service - especially for Friday's and Saturday's. The kid at the door was pretty aloof about the whole thing. Wow! Although I am not an easily impressed person (because I cook well myself and am very picky in my dining experiences) this pizzeria unexpectedly blew me away! When you pull up to this place l, the outside of the building and surroundings are NOTHING like the experiences inside! I was submerged into a little Italian family cuisine. We ordered a bunch of different chicken dinners, a large pizza, a large salmon salad, non-alcoholic drinks, and even deserts! The bill came up just a little over a hundred. The dishes were big, tasty, and cooked with love while using good quality products. Many pizza places (and pretty much all chain restaurants) use frozen prepared ahead meals/meats. This place was nothing like those other places. The food tasted better than pricey 5 star restaurants!! I was truly amazed, and really didn't expect to have such a high quality meal in Scranton PA! From now on. we will plan on stopping at this place when traveling. What a treat. Even the desert (warm, soft and huge brownie topped with tasty French vanilla Icecream) was divine . I don't even like brownies but this one I ate to the very last bite and had hard time sharing! LOL. ! The food and service at this place simply makes you happy. This is a great place to eat. My daughter and I have celiac and have to eat gluten free food. This restaurant carries a great deal of gluten free products and it is always delicious. The people who work there are also very nice and really care for the fact that we have an allergy. Cross contamination has never been a problem here. My nephew goes to college near here and we went to visit him. Told him we'd take him out to eat wherever he wanted. He chose this place - right near school and he said it's one of his faves for Italian food. Was a bit disappointed with the lack of outdoor dining and it's a really tiny place, so had a wee bit of COVID anxiety eating inside as it did get much busier after we arrived. The decor isn't really much to speak of - but the food and service were really top notch and really friendly! The menu is HUGE. Maybe a bit too big as the choices are overwhelming. We had gnocchi with marinara, seafood manicotti, and lasagne. Each came with garlic bread and salad. Everything was fantastic and freshly made! We didn't try the pizza, but had fun watching the staff throw the dough in the air. generous portions and reasonable prices make it an amazing value. I can see why it's one of his favorites! No A/C, so this tiny place is hot as hell. Waiter must have bumped into me five times while I was at my table. Chicken Saltimbocca was supposed to come with salad and garlic bread. Entree was delivered and I had not gotten either. I told the server and he brought me a salad right away but never the bread. Salad dressing was completely separated and oily. Chicken was ok but cheese was barely melted and prosciutto wasn't cooked at all. Menu didn't say it came with pasta so I thought the bed of pasta was a nice surprise. Pasta was over cooked and drowning in some kind of garlic cream sauce. Place was packed so people must like it. The pizzas looked really good but I was by myself so no pizza for me. I am assuming the high scores on Yelp must be for the pizza but I would stay away from the rest of them menu and get takeout instead of dining in. read more

This restaurant is amazing. I've been here many times in the past six years, but I wanted to do another review to reiterate how great it is. The food is absolutely fantastic, and the ambiance and service is even better. The owner is wonderful and accommodating, and the servers are all kind, funny and great to talk to. I went recently with a party of ten, and not only did they adjust times for us and our reservation, but they also took wonderful care of us. As someone who has Celiacs Disease, this is one of the very few places I trust to eat Gluten Free without fear of cross-contamination or lack of knowledge when it comes to the allergy. Ok I have heard of this restaurant for a bit now. We tried it tonight. It was AMAZING!!! You wouldn't think it. The actual restaurant is a little dismal. Small, but so worth it. The menu has a great variety. Nice amount of seafood, pasta and chickens. I had the chicken franchise. I had 4 huge pieces of chicken covered completely and fully with an egg batter that wasn't soggy. The portion was so big, that we had to wrap up to take home. Fast service. Busy takeout. Devin our waiter was sweet, fast and attentive. I couldn't suggest this little secret more. You will be pleased. As for the Covid scared patrons. Felt so comfortable. Masks were required but while eating able to remove. Limited seating. Make Reservations. They took our first names and phone numbers just in case they would have to contact us.
