Finished the move and dusted! thanks Mario.
    Elisa S.

I needed to move my mom's piano from her house to my house long distance (260 miles). The piano has sentimental value and it is something I hope that my children will learn to play. Therefore it was important to find a trustworthy company. I wanted people who knew how to move pianos and not just "movers". I organized the ENTIRE move with yelp messaging! That's insane for a long distance move but that's the reality of my life. I work full time and have 2 small children so I don't have free time to call and be on the phone. (Today is my first day off after 18 consecutive days of working.) We had Mario and George who went truly above and beyond. I also needed to move items from my mom's house (including 2 beds, 1 dresser, 2 nightstands and some kitchen stuff). They offered to take everything and gave me a better price than I was previously quoted with another company. When they got the piano to my house, Mario dusted it and explained how not to scratch the finish. Then they took the second bed to my sister's house. I am truly grateful and would recommend them for general moving and piano moving. Extra plus for being kind to my kids. Gave them knuckles.

    Damage

I hired these guys to move a large sized safe for me in October. I was in a time crunch and used them despite their price being $200 more than another company who was backed up for a few days. They didn't even get the safe out of my driveway before dragging it on the concrete driveway and damaging the front corner of my $1600 safe. Mario offered to take a whopping $50 off, with the understanding that he would have a restoration expert fix the damage. I shouldn't have, but I agreed to this. The rest of the move was seamless. About a month later, his restoration guy finally called me back, and told me he couldn't help me out until January 2021. I found this unacceptable. I told Mario I wanted my money back since they damaged the property I paid them $500 to move safely. He refused. Don't use these guys if you value your belongings, time, or money.

Another completely satisfied customer with Piano Tuner/repairer Thierry Gonzalez. Thanks for the referral Mario!

A friend of mine asked me to keep her piano in my home for a few months and she had hired this company. Mario was excellent! He was very professional and you can tell he knows what he is doing! I was amazed, he had a helper but Mario did all the hard work himself! I just recommended him to a friend and will definitely recommend all the time for pianos!

    The key that broke

I would only recommend them if you don't have any stairs and are okay with your piano itself and your wall being damaged to the point that the movers need to spend an additional 8 hours repairing their own damages and still unapologetically charge you full price. Regrettably, when we hired them to move a beautiful baby grand piano we had just purchased into our new home, which Mario assured was a straightforward job, the piano was irreversably damaged and broken due to mishandling when going up the one flight of stairs: 1. Piano's fallboard broke completely off 2. A ~6 inch hole was made in our wall 3. One of the white keys broke off While the pickup and packing of the piano went fine, everything went south when it was time to bring the piano up the one flight of stairs in our home which Mario knew about before the job, and had looked at prior and said it was no problem. Mind you, it was only Mario and his one guy moving. We were both surprised when they showed up and it was just them two. We're not the professionals, but even we knew that for a grand piano going up any stairs, it usually takes at least 4 medium build guys. They should've known (and probably knew) they were taking a big risk by moving the piano by just themselves and no additional help. While pushing the baby grand piano up one flight of stairs, Mario (the owner) and his mover had a tremendously difficult time. They had to stop half way to catch their breath and on the 2nd thrust, Mario pushed up on the piano with his shoulder on the fallboard part of the piano. In doing so, he caused it to snap off completely. They immediately had to set the piano down again and one of the keys broke and fell off. Once they brought it up the steps, the tuner who he regularly works with, alongside him who was there advised them to get wood glue and other supplies from Home Depot to glue the long fallboard piece back onto the piano. During the entire time, Mario's moving partner was smiling the entire time and didn't appear to take these damages seriously. Not only did they not apologize or accept any fault, they actually literally blamed the construction of the piano for it breaking, saying "it shouldn't have beeb made like that" disregarding the fact that the fallboard of the piano is not meant to bear the weight of the entire piano on it. Being professional movers, and specifically piano specialists, shouldn't they know which part of the piano is okay to push up on and which part is not, right? Isn't that one of the key aspects of the job if it's your specialty? Otherwise, why would we have hired specialists for the job that piano moving is their expertise? At the end, after gluing the piece back on, the line that goes across the entire front of the piano where the break is is clearly visible and on top of that one of the white keys broke off where we had to glue it back on and the line where the break happened is clearly visible as well. These were damages that the piano will have forever and now affect the resale value of the piano as well. As for the hole in the wall, I thought they would be bringing a professional to patch the hole but the tuner ended up patching it with some supplies from home depot. The patch in the wall is really obvious. After all of this, I'm baffled that they still proceeded to charge me at all for the move let alone the full price, even though I was left with literally a broken piano with lower resale value, and them telling me insurance would not cover. What is the point in paying extra and hiring experts in piano moving, if they aren't able to navigate a piano up just one flight of stairs without putting your piano (and home) at serious risk? Since I know reviews like this sometimes tend to get blown out of proportion I included pictures.

Before I came in, I was mainly interested in the Roland digital piano HP704, so I called ahead to ask if they had it. I was honestly surprised when they said yes, because I worried they might just be saying that to get me to come in. But they really did have it. Not only did they have that model, but they also had several other Roland options, from more affordable models to higher-end ones. I even got to try a more expensive model that I had not known about before, and the sound and touch were much better than the one I was originally planning to get. I'm really glad I had the chance to try different models, because otherwise I might not have made the best choice. Sunny helped me with the sale, and she was very patient while I spent a long time trying out the pianos. Since I plan to play a digital piano at home with headphones, I took extra time testing the different models. I used the headphones they provided and played on my own for quite a while, and I really appreciated that she gave me the space to explore without making me feel rushed. I was also the only customer there at the time, so I may have had a bit more flexibility, but I still appreciated how comfortable and unpressured the experience felt. After the sale, Julia and Sunny also helped answer the other questions I had, and they were both very welcoming and kind. Being there made me feel so happy because I love pianos, and the atmosphere felt so cozy and welcoming.
