But Alex offered to take a look and replace it himself free of charge of the service -- just charging for the belt.

I originally wanted to give Lev 2-stars. However, Lev is the type of person who stands by his work…read moreand that's **really rare** nowadays so he deserves 5 stars. Read on... I have a three column Thermador fridge setup: A freezer, a wine cooler and a fridge. My wine cooler broke down after only 6 years. Lev agreed to come and replace it with a new one. When he took out the entire unit, we found that huge amounts of rust had formed between the wine cooler and the freezer. Lev told me he has never seen anything like this before and could be due to some leak. He fixed the rusty part of the freezer (still working) for a nominal fee and installed the new wine cooler. Fast forward 3 weeks, I did a small test by sliding a piece of cardstock in between freezer and the new wine cooler. Low and behold, it came out all wet. It turns out when these fridges are installed less than 6 inches apart (which is the case for almost ALL column installations), they need to have either insulation or a heater kit in between to avoid condensation. Thermador did not tell me this (because they don't know how far apart the fridges will be installed) but they said Lev, as an installer, should have known. When I talked to him, he said he has never seen that part installed but since it was causing problems for me, he would come back and install it for free! That's why he gets 5 stars from me. He was the only good part of this whole 3 month ordeal with Thermador.

Not a good thing when you're baking and end up with dry cupcakes and flat cookies. I called up Airport Appliance where I purchased my range but no longer in business and given the Viking Range (1888-845-4641) support. Based on location I was referred to De Anza Appliance in San Jose. Chris was very friendly, responsive and mentioned at the onset the visit would be $200. Ouch! Whaddya gonna do when you need it fixed and only trust and Authorized Viking Repair place. Ofa was sent for the service call and arrived within the timeframe promised. Friendly, thorough and professional. Fortunately, not a big issue and corrected with a visit as wiring was hitting metal and throwing off the temperature. Highly recommend De Anza Appliance as quick to get an appointment and professional service. Oven is working great again. My 15 years old Subzero refrigerator stopped working recently and its freezer side was totally not…read morecold. The refrigerator side was still working because it has a dual cooling system with separate compressor. I reached out to Subzero for help, but all they could recommend is that I reached out to Box Appliance which is their preferred repair shop in the SF Bay Area which I already knew before calling. When I told Subzero that the earliest appointment with Box was 15 days later, the phone rep told me that she would reach out to Subzero to expedite the request, but in the end no one from Box got back to me for an earlier appointment. Don't who dropped the ball along the way but I as the customer was left in the cold, even though I got a Subzero but apparently means little when it comes to support. In search for other repair service, I came across Spark Appliance which got many great review. I decided to give Spark Appliance a try. The owner Eli quickly responded to my request and came over the next day. He quickly diagnose the problem to be a relay part issue to the compressor and was 99% sure to be the case. Fortunately, he had the part in the truck so was able to replace it right away. Additionally, he cleaned up my very dusty machinery to keep the refrigerator running efficiently. My freezer is still running fine few days later after the fix, so I can confidently say the problem was correctly resolved. I was lucky to have found Spark Appliance through this ordeal even though Box or Subzero did not come through. I found Eli and Spark Appliance to be experienced, reliable and honest, and I won't hesitate to call them again whenever I have future appliances issues (they work on all things appliances and not just refrigerator!)

An employee from Pacific Appliance Repair came to my condominium for a service call. Without knocking, without announcing himself, this man OPENED MY FRONT DOOR AND WALKED STRAIGHT INTO MY HOME. He didn't apologize. He didn't even acknowledge what he did. My daughter and my son were right there. We were all scared shitless. Then, as if that wasn't bad enough, he just darted out of my house and went next door. It took me a long time to even figure out where this creep was working from. Total silence from him. No explanation. No "sorry, wrong unit." Just bizarre, standoffish, and completely unprofessional behavior. Just because someone works for a company like Pacific Appliance Repair does NOT make them a trustworthy person. This guy walked into my home knowing full well my kids were there. It was strange, invasive, and honestly - who knows what his deal is. Maybe he does this shit all the time. Maybe he's a sicko. I want to warn every single person out there: watch out for this company and their employees. Rude. Weird. And honestly frightening. I have a photo of the guy. I'll post it so you can see his face. Stay far away from Pacific Appliance Repair. The police couldn't give me this man credentials so I did my own investigation and this is what i discovered.
