I had already had a repairman out from another company and they didn't know what to do. Eduardo was professional and knew what was wrong with my fridge. He told me ice has built up in the pipe and to allow my fridge to defrost for 72 hrs and then plus it back in and I would be good to go. He did try to defrost it manually but to be on the safe side we did the 72 hours. Worked like a charm and has been going strong for the last two months with zero issues. The date was set for Wednesday, May 15, 2024 and GVC gave a window of nine hours to be home 8 AM to 5 PM. They never came nor did the company call or email or return any calls that day when I was calling to find out how much longer they arrived at 5:10 PM walked up to the door, took a picture of himself at the house and doesn't wait or want to talk to the camera(ring) away. The tech doesn't call to say he arrived or leave a note and never got an email to reschedule. And told the LG company, let them know what happened and told them about the timestamp He showed up the next day without notice at all, was there for two minutes and said the motherboard part will take 5 to 10 days It's May 28, 2024 and they won't return my phone calls. They won't keep me updated. I only got one call from GVC asking for proof on May 21. It's been 18 days without a refrigerator freezer and all I want is an update Horrible company!!! He explained there would be a $49 charge to evaluate the problem but if we decided to have him do repairs that would be put towards the repair. Seemed fair to me... and cheaper than Sears which charges $149. Mark called this morning to make sure I'd be home. He showed up and was very professional, friendly and helpful. He found the problem right away - showed me the broken part and explained how it broke. He told me the cost of the repair and it seemed very reasonable. He had the part fixed within 10 minutes and even gave me some tips - he said my dryer hose was crunched up b/c the dryer was too close to the wall so if we pull it away a bit it will dry faster. Free advice, love it! It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this company.

They didn't carry what we need but referred us to APD Appliance Parts Distributor. When I dropped by, I was really impressed by Jim, who when I showed him a video of our dryer and the model number, he was completely familiar with our dryer model, and knew what was wrong. He found the kit we need with all the pieces we need to repair and priced very reasonably. He also told me exactly where I can find more info for how to repair, and was super patient to explain all the details until I felt comfortable. Because we were also experiencing another issue with the dryer needing several cycles to dry (even after servicing our dryer with a dryer vent cleaner company), he also explained how to clean the lint from inside the machine. We took this weekend to repair the dryer and it is now working. We are super grateful for the help from Jim and would not hesitate to recommend this store!

It not only fixed the problem he also pointed out the hose for my ice maker was leaking, and for a very small additional charge he fixed it also. I waited over a month to get one part for my freezer. I couldn't use a freezer for one month and they told me if could very possibly take over three month for them to take my over door and repair it. Imagine having no freezer and no over door in you kitchen for over three month. I had three appts...first one was supposed to by 8am and they showed up around 8 pm saying their car broke down. Imagine having to take the entire day off waiting for them. I waited for the entire four hours agin for the third appt, when they were finally coming to fix the freezer, and they never showed up!! Zero calls or notifications...they just had me waiting for nothing. . The next day they claimed it was another broken down car. I asked why no one contacted me and they didn't have a response. The broken down car seems to be their go-to excuse. I was beyond fruatrated and asked to speak with the company owner and the manager refused!!! I mean this is when an owner needs to step and and provide proper customer support after so many failed moves on their part. Now I will say that the two technicians who came (Fabio and another gentleman) and Flavio (I think that was his name from their phone service) where extremely polite and understanding. But the company is run very poorly unfortunately and they delay you for sooooo long.
