I went to this location for an International Driving Permit to be able to rent a car abroad. It was such a smooth, easy process. As a member, I got free photos taken, and everyone helped me with efficiency and a smile. It was such a pleasant, easy experience. Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Roadside Assistance Service Failure To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration regarding the unacceptable service I received from AAA on the afternoon of June 7, 2026. At approximately 2:22 PM, I called AAA's roadside assistance line because I was stranded on the side of the highway with a flat tire. As a paying member, I expected assistance, professionalism, and support during what was already a stressful and potentially dangerous situation. When I called, a representative named Jonathan answered the recorded line. Rather than assisting me with my emergency roadside situation, he informed me that my membership had expired. This information was inaccurate, as my membership was not expired. After placing me on hold, the call was disconnected without any resolution, follow-up, or attempt to assist me further. As a result of AAA's failure to provide the service I pay for, I was left stranded on the side of a busy highway and was forced to seek help elsewhere. This caused me to incur additional out-of-pocket expenses that I should never have had to pay. I paid another service provider to assist me because AAA failed to fulfill its obligation as a roadside assistance company. What is most upsetting is that when I needed AAA the most, the company was nowhere to be found. The entire purpose of maintaining a roadside assistance membership is to have support during emergencies. Instead, I was left feeling abandoned, ignored, and treated as though my safety and situation did not matter. From my perspective, this experience demonstrated a complete lack of concern for customers. It appears that collecting membership fees is more important than actually providing assistance when members need help. A company that advertises peace of mind and emergency support should never leave a paying customer stranded without assistance. Because of this experience, I am seriously considering and preparing to cancel my AAA membership. I no longer have confidence that AAA will be there when I need assistance in the future. I am requesting a full explanation regarding: Why I was incorrectly told that my membership was expired. Why my call was placed on hold and subsequently disconnected without assistance. What steps AAA intends to take to address this service failure. Whether AAA will reimburse me for the expenses I incurred after being forced to obtain assistance from another provider. I expect a prompt response addressing these concerns. This situation was unacceptable, and I believe AAA owes its members a higher standard of service than what I experienced. Tire and they did have my tire, which ment it could be installed same day. He drove me and my car to the location. I just purchased a new tire recently. I went to Costco the other day and came out to see it was flat! My husband was at home after a long day at work sleeping like bear and didn't answer. I called AAA and was able to get someone withing 20 minutes to meet me at my car. They changed my tire like I was Lightening McQueen and I had to get back into the race. Luckily my vehicle has a full size spare. I was caring for some friends of our pets so it was a time sensitive situation. If you don't have AAA or roadside with your carrier you run into a pickle like me you can call and they will sign you up on the spot and send someone to help you with your vehicle. read more

On February 16th, I went into the AAA branch at 7th Street and Bethany Home Road. I explained to the lady at the front podium that I was having issues with my current insurance and I wanted to speak with somebody. I waited a few minutes and then an insurance agent named Brett Olson greeted me and we walked back to his desk. First of all, he explained that he's an insurance agent who handles new accounts not service and that they didn't have any service representatives on site, but that he was willing to look at my policies to see what he could find out. I explained to Brett that early that morning I received an email from AAA with information on my annual premium cost for my two vehicles. I told him that I was concerned because my premium had jumped up 40%. I mentioned that several times before coming into the branch, I had tried to contact my service agent and a supervisor but received no reply. Brett apologized for my recent experience. Brett began to look at my customer profile, and told me that my driving record was a 45 and that the highest level was a 50 and that anybody between 40 and 50 are considered excellent and are preferred insurance clients. He was able to see that I didn't have any new claims, neither did I have any at-fault accidents and I explained to him that my credit score is top tier. Brett stated that looking at the information on file he could not understand why there was such a dramatic increase in my car insurance policy. He said in order to get answers that he would need to contact the insurance departmen's back office to look into this. Brett mentioned that my homeowners insurance premium had just posted in their system that day and he printed it up for me. My policy went from $700 annual to $1,188 which is a 58% increase. I've never had any home insurance claims and yet my policy jumps up that much. Brett was shocked and said that he would look into this. He explained that he had a short day as he had come in late and he was finishing up some work, and then he was going to be off the next three days, but that he would see if he could get some answers that day and if not, then he would follow up with the back office on Tuesday, February 20th when he returned to work. Brett stated that he would be giving me a call on February 20th to follow up to see what he was able to find out about the premium increases and to see if there was anything that could be done about the new rates. Before I left, I asked Brett "you're for sure going to call me when you're back in the office?" and he promised he would. Before I left, he even confirmed my phone number and email address and stated that he would touch base with me next Tuesday. I never heard back from Brett, not a voicemail or an email; there was no follow up. I appreciated Brett taking time out of his schedule to meet with me, and the only thing I wanted was a follow up and receive some final answers regarding my new premium costs. Even if there was no change to the new rates, it would've been nice to have a confirmation. Then when someone messaged me from AAA asking to provide further details about my experience so they can reach out nobody followed up with me. Two weeks later I sent another email and asked for confirmation of receipt and once again received no email reply. Throughout this whole experience including additional times I reached out to the insurance department, AAA had at least 7 opportunities to follow-up to provide answers but I assume from their lack of effort and ignored requests my business did not matter. read more

Last time I had AAA,my mother needed battery help.AAA told her to push the car out of the carport to the street before they would come.She is 94 yr old.So are their drivers 12 yr old?What happened to real men?Then last month while my classic car was being painted at Carmen's, a huge tragedy occurred.He and others were murdered.I was told to quickly tow my dismantled car home before it gets impounded.It was registered and insured,but not recently,since it took along time to repair.So AAA refused to tow it 17 miles.I had to get another tow co. At 300.$ for 17 miles.In an emergency AAA will tell you to PISS off.They don't care.This is just the attitude of business' have now.Im looking for another tow company.These guys are a rip off. read more

Tried to schedule an oil change through the app. Got an email back with all the appointment details so I went out there at the appointed time. But apparently the email wasn't actually a confirmation and they just didn't put anywhere clearly enough that that was the case. They also said they've had the problem before, so why not fix it? This makes for a confusing email and appointment process and annoying inconveniences. Sorry to be a Karen but please fix this. I have had to call twice today. First time employee was very very rude. They advised me 90 minute wait. I could not wait that long. Second time I called very rude employee they advised two hours wait time. Why cant employee answer question. Are they not trained properly! 1st what with the long wait times 2nd whats up with employee attitudes today. 15 year customer going to wave goodbye to AAA. Got to talk to a supervisor. I have been with AAA in So CA for many years & don't have any complaints, I live in So CA & own a vacation home in AZ & called the AZ AAA for a quote for HO Insurance. I was quoted a rate of $200. less than my current carrier, but then when I contacted them to write the insurance, the rate increased by $200. because I didn't have other insurance with AAA in AZ, which they knew up front. Now staying with my current carrier. Very frustrating to have wasted my time. read more

I joined AAA and insured my house and vehicles. I traded one of my cars for a newer model and my premium skyrocketed. I was forced to shop my auto policy and bested AAA by 20%. Too much to ignore! I canceled my AAA policy 8/12/23. It is now 9/8/23 and no refund yet. I called and spoke to their customer service department 4 times trying to resolve this. Each time I was told a different story. The check is in the mail. You didn't get the check? Well we will credit your account. Week later another call and the wait times don't get any better. Oh your card company would not allow us to credit the account. Why wasn't I notified??Another call more waiting on the phone. The most recent representative said that they had sent the check to the wrong address!! Why did all my policy documents come to the correct address?? Well now they are writing another check that they will send out 9/11/23 and it can take 7-10 business days. They held our money for over a month and still don't have it..and it may not be over. They admitted to the address problem. I suggested they overnight the check but csr's don't have the authority and I would have to speak to a supervisor, by this time I thought that getting anyone else involved would only give them another way to screw things up. Still waiting. They can take your money in seconds, returning it takes months!! read more

Waited 45 minutes to get my car unlock they never came so I got a ride to work. Left someone there with my car and told AAA I had to go because I am caregiver and they would pick me up from work they agreed because they didn't com in the 45 minutes that I waited. Then the tech refused to unlock my car. And when I called back Cheryl was so rude to me I haven't gotten any help from AAA I have my whole family as members and I can't believe they would treat me this way. I had to pay for a locksmith to come Cheryl said they can't unlock cars for random people I do believe that task I'm played a huge part in why my car did get unlock.
