Stay away!!!!! These guys are crooks. I thought this was still D & J Tire Center because I used to go here all the time when I need to fix a flat, buy used or new tires but I didn't know it's new ownership. Now it's my fault for not making sure that it's $110 + tax per tire because I assume my Prius tires and I asked for the cheapest one that it would be around $110 for 2 including mounting and balancing. I knew the ball park because I called America's tire last night but they were about to close and their cheapest 185/65/15 is $38 per tire. Including mount and balance should be $110. I was about to go there but was near this place and thought maybe I stop by to see what they have and support local small business. The forecast with a lot of rain coming in the coming week so I wanted to make sure I replace my front tires to be safe on the road. Okay I made a mistake of not making sure it's per tire but if it's good tires then I'm cool with it. These are Namkang 195/65/15 cross sport sp-9. I googled it and it's selling for $55 a pop everywhere else. That means I paid double. On top of that, it's not even the right size. Mine is suppose to be 185/65/15. These guys are crooks and from the other reviews, I'm not the only person that they ripoff. These guys won't last long and please help by not doing business with them. I fuking hate these types of people. Many people like me who have a family and kids to feed. We could have used the money for other things. It's making it harder to trust and support local business. DJ used to rock the tire business but these guys came in and are now just another "sales" shop 2 inches short of a car dealership. Tried to sell me 4 Walmart tires for $120 a pop, i refused their special deal and they sent me off on my spare tire which had less than 15 PSI on it, didn't even pump it up. If these guys were doctors, they would send you off with a bloody needle sticking in your arm if you refused their _deals_. DOT should really evaluate this racket. read more

I WAS SCAMMED HERE! BUYER BEWARE! I came in here looking for two used tires for a car I bought for deliveries. I was offered four for a good price and told I needed all four. I knew the front tires were at 4% and 12% and the backs at 54% because the week before I had a smog check done and was given an print out of their findings that showed this -- it was why I went to get tires. Yesterday I took my car back to the same shop that did my smog to get a belt replaced and was given the same print out that showed my tires were at 52%!!!!!! They did what they promised at almost half the price from most other shops all around. I watched them as they replaced the old parts. The only problem was they broke my lug nut key and I had to buy 4 new ones. The mechanic touch and dirtied my interior with his dirty hands and clothes, they don't use any covers while inside cars. On the other side their prices are low and they are honest. I showed them a job all of the other crook mechanics wanted to do for $500 and they told me it was nothing important and showed me why not to do it. I believed them and saved on this repair. The other crooked shops tried to charge me into doing this job. This is why you alway get a second opinion on price and recheck if you really need to have it done. i gave 3 star because of dirty hands in my car and set and breaking of my key lug nut and charging me for a new one. Had the misfortune of getting a flat tire after driving to the airport, pulled over on Stevens Creek and found AAA. I kind of regret not going to the Midas across the street. My encounter just felt weird. For starters, there's only 1 person working so I had to wait forever! My tire didn't pop, have a tear or anything, it was just flat, but after looking at it briefly they tossed it to the side and went to grab a new tire. If that is what is needed, okay but they didn't communicate to me or explain to me why. And the tire they sold me was a used one. I low key suspect that they kept my previous tire just to resell. At the end of the day I am glad I was able to safely get back home, I just feel like this wasn't the best service all around. read more

I like this shop a lot. Clean customer area, beverages, tv, magazines and child play area while you wait. Customer Service was great, even on a Sunday, while they were slammed. I only wished they could of completed my service sooner since I did have an appointment and prepaid for one tire to be changed. Nothing to be done when you have 4-5 vehicles ahead of yours and your forewarn that it could take a few hours to get your service done. Tip - Get the first appointment of the day and bring something to do...just in case. read more

They have two different shops and the other one is walking distance. I went to the latter one which is at a gas station. I would suggest going there instead. I think it use to be D and J tires but they moved and AAA may have taken over. I got great service from a guy named Irvin, I believe, who is the guy in charge of that station and his helper Rigo. I would say go and find Irvin if you want to be steered in the right direction. I been to both shops and trust him the most. Understand, when you go to shops, you need to go with the guy who seems honest, sincere, and willing to help. The owners of both shops is a couple and they are cool too. They will take the initiative to handle problems immediately. Also, get new tires not used ones. If you get used tires, you'll save some money but may end up paying more in the long run due to various reasons. read more

It used to be my tire shop. I used their services almost two years. Owners are great person, but recently their employees just suck. There is a fat guy who is a complete a**hole. Last time i towed my car there because i got a flat tire. And i had a warranty on them. He supposed to replaced it for free, he charged me 40$. I didn't even complain. But the worst happened today, I didn't tighten the bolts and removed all the balance weight from the rim. When i come to other tire shop today, the guy showed the bolts and the rim, i was lucky that I didn't drive another 100 miles, because my tire about to go out. 2 bolts were missing and rest 3 were loose. And as I mentioned before all the balance weights were removed by himself. Because stupid dumbass i would loose front tire while driving or even worse i would crash. I came here to get four new tires installed that i purchased online. AAA Tires had the best price, but no reviews so i just went in based on these yelp reviews thinking it would be good experience at a great value. It wasn't so. 3 strikes you're out. I generally work on my own car, so i know what to look for of certain services. 1) Slow. I was taken care of immediately on a morning, but the person helping just didn't have good experience installing low profile tires. It took over 1 hour 40 minutes just to install the tires and balance the tires. 2) Inattention to detail and incorrect installation. After driving to work and taking a closer look at their work, i noticed *two* of my four tires were installed backwards. (There is an inside and outside sidewall direction, which is supposed to face you, two of them were mounted with the inside sidewall facing me.) I called up Rey and he said to come back to get it fixed. He did get this fixed later that night. 3a) Bad installation practices. They were originally going to only balance the wheels on the front of the car instead of all four tires. I asked them to balance all four tires as they should when mounting tires to a wheel and they didn't argue much. I shouldn't have to tell them this. When i rotate the tires, who will balance the other two tires for me? 3b) Overtorquing the lug nuts. They use their impact drivers to torque the nuts, then finish them with a torque wrench that immediately reports that they're tightened enough. This means they have been overtightened by their impact driver. This is standard practice at more shops that i can count, but their pretending to torque these things to spec with a torque wrench is just misleading. And tires pressures were all over the place. My tires reported values from 35psi - 46psi between the 4 tires. No biggie. After my experience with this, I would be unlikely to ever return to this place for any services nor recommend them to anyone. read more

Brought my vehicle for brakes, I knew it was too good to be true, they quoted me a fair price, dropped off early morning came back after work my car hadn't been touched, they told me if I could bring back the next day as they were very busy. Ok, so I brought it back the next day, the guy that was going to work on my vehicle, first of all he didn't know what the heck he was doing, he kept asking another guy what to do, mind you were talking about breaks on a 2018 model. I told the guy not to touch it and put the tires back, instead I took it directly to the dealership to have the break done professionally and with OEM part. A couple of weeks later I came back to ask about new tires and they gave me a ridiculous quote, too it right down the street to another shop where they hook me up with the tires I wanted and a great price. I took my car to the aaa tire last week, bought 4 new wheels, they installed all 4 and balanced, I took off and drive the car and car started wobbling so bad after 45 MPH, I took it back and they said needs balance again, took off and same problem again, took it back and the Mexican owner said needs wheels plastic adapter, again same issue after I drove, it was very disappointing, I got tired of taking the car back or returning the wheels, I took the car to a good year and explained the whole thing, after they inspected the wheels they said front wheels was balanced but was not balanced to the car and they reinstalled it again and fixed the problem, In conclusion, do not trust these guys and 2 guys who work for him, I was in automotive business so I knew they are doing something wrong. read more

What a great family business! They provided such excellent customer service and repaired my punctured tire on the spot (it had a 3 inch wood screw In it) for very cheap and only took about 10 or 15 minutes. They're also the only tire shop that are open past 6 PM in the area which is brilliant. In the last two months, we've had a nail in the tire...twice. Found this place on a Sunday when almost every other tire place was closed. The service couldn't be any faster. First time, the tire only needed a plug for $15! For all you who don't know, this is how much a plug should cost. The second time the tire needed to be replaced. Brought in my minivan with a nail in the driver/rear tire at 7pm on a Tuesday. Was greeted by one of the technicians and had the van backed into the service bay within 2 minutes. Vehicle jacked up, tire removed, nail removed, plug installed, and checked out within about 15 minutes.
