This location is the best hidden secret for a good, wholesome shop! I called Chance and he did nothing but go out of his way to go above and beyond for me. He is genuine, honest, professional and realistic when it comes to cars. I had my transmission and battery replaced and after calling 8 other locations and he was by far the best priced, most available all while willing to problem solve to get me the best deal possible. I would HIGHLY recommend this location, and I won't go anywhere else for any car issues I have! **UPDATE... not really an "update" just wanted to give ANOTHER example as of why I won't take my car to any other shop. After Chance replaced my transmission, I took my car into Christian Brothers for an oil change, where they gave me an outrageous quote from... for ADDITIONAL work (that I didn't ask for, and I previously paid a diagnostic fee). I called Chance and again, was provided with unbeatable customer service. He checked all of the work that was quoted and not only was it literally half the price, he actually discovered that most of the work didn't need to be done at all. In fact, he found other things they should have caught, and even with those repairs needed- his work was more than half of the cost. Looking at my receipt, he took care of me. I think I have actually cost Chance money taking my car to him and still the service is beyond amazing. Had my brakes making some squeaking, stop in and had them check it out, waited to find out that my brakes were fine, but I had a water pump going bad and leaking, they quoted me for the repair, I felt it was reasonable, but I let them know I didn't have time to wait, and gave me the option for them to use there shuttle and take me back to my office, Wow, was supposed that more companies don't do this as it was not only an opportunity to get back to work, but I didn't have to wait in a waiting room but clearly do something other than waiting. I had recently bought a used vehicle from a car lot and they had claimed that their technician had done a full inspection of the vehicle (oil change,brakes,all fluids topped off) Test drive the vehicle and all seemed great so I purchased the vehicle.... Not even two weeks later while driving my dash displayed 0 oil pressure and alerts going off... took the truck to AAMCO and had them look at it. From the moment I walked in I was treated like family. Sat down and talked with Casey and explained that I had just bought the vehicle and so on and so forth. He took the vehicle to the back and had the technician start looking at everything About twenty minutes later the technician Anthony came in and told me what was wrong, thankfully it was not as bad as I thought. Just a simple oil change and he made some other recommendations to help the vehicle run better.... these guys went above and beyond for me and I will be a forever customer of AAMCO Brighton. Aamco Transmission (10500 Havana st., Brighton, CO., 80601) claims that they are the experts in transmissions, etc.. I sent my company vehicle to Aamco Transmission for a diagnostic with a repair once they figured out what was wrong. * They use a Third Party for transmission work. - They are transmission shop? * There communication is horrible. - Never got updated on the statues of my vehicle. - When they had all of my contact information and I told them to call me specifically. - I asked what would a rough ETA be. - "How hard is it to fix a leak" I was told. * Time - Took 2 weeks the initial job - Not to bad - Took 3 weeks warranty job - A little aggressive round trip * Had to send my vehicle back for warranty work. - When I got my vehicle back it would not go in reverse. * Damages - Build Shop smashed the front part of the cab on the lift. - Lifted too High. * Repairs for Damages - Want us to use one of there shops. - What kind of work am I gonna get? - I sent a estimate from a shop of our choice. - They didn't agree with this process - Was sent a fax that states; The estimate provided is extreme. - That the estimate amount exceeds the value of my vehicle. * To Conclude - My regional manager gets involved - The main person running the show wasn't in. - Follow-up call - Trying to just get the situation figured out. - Gets Hung-Up on. read more

I am not from Denver but was in Denver on a quick trip when my vehicle began making a noise. I stopped into AAMCO after a recommendation and could not have been more pleased. The manager was friendly, helpful, and empathetic of my situation. He got me in quickly, even though they were busy. They diagnosed my problem, were upfront about the costs, and had an open, no pressure conversation about the risks if I were to try to drive it home. Even after I decided to try to drive it home before repairing, they didn't want a dime. I even offered to pay them something and they wouldn't take it. I made it home and had my normal mechanic do the work. It was exactly what they said, they had been completely honest. That's worth a lot. Thank you AAMCO! Worst experience I have ever had. To start off I had my vehicle at another shop just up the road and was looking into a new transmission. With a price tag of 5300 dollars I decided to look at my options. This AAMCO was the 3rd place I called and was the only one that would not give me a quote over the phone for a driver side cv axle clutch and a manual transmission rebuild. Jamie the owner insisted I bring it over so i did. So we loaded it up and HAULED it over because The transmission was destroyed and driving it would only cause further damage. Chad the second in command is saying I drove it regardless of what his cameras show. The next day they call me and said after the test drive the transmission was a complete loss and that there was a hole in the casing. I already new and told them the transmission was done and it needed rebuild I asked why the hell would you drive it. His response was well we needed to get it into the shop anyway. Then I said "push it". Of course he played dumb I told him to have the owner call me. I verified with Christian brothers that the casing did not have a hole blown out of it and I told them that AAMCO took it for a test drive and they expressed the same concerns, why did they drive it? A day later Jamie the owner called me. They quoted me $3700 before taxes I asked him what it would be if he covered the casing and asked why they would drive it around he blew up called me a fu$&)@ piece of Sh!& person for trying to screw him over and that he would pay for it himself and hung up. Right away I called back I told the other guy don't touch my car I'm sending a tow to take it to a competent mechanic. And I did. Bottom line is they either intentionally did more damage to my vehicle or are stupid and should find a new job. What would I like? An apology I don't want your money or your services. People mess up learn how to treat people you wronged and train your staff so it don't happen again. You will lie and deny I don't care. read more

Dropped our car off at Aamco in Brighton Colorado on Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Got a call from Casey advising our transmission was bad and quoted 2,700-3,300. At that time we asked about the 100.00 dollar coupon he said he would accept at pickup. They advised that our 2011 Equinox would be completed by Friday the same week. Friday cones and no call so we call them to find out the car is not ready due to the wrong seals being ordered. They said it would be ready the following Tuesday's I called Monday to double check they said quote was still the same they would honor original quote and the car would not be ready until Wednesday or Thursday. We get a call Wednesday saying it was ready and would cost 3,427.00. I called them upset that they quoted less and basically raised the cost so the coupon didn't even count. CASEY THE MANAGER personally told mer over the phone he would go in and adjust the invoice and the final cost would be 3,227.00. He asked when we would be there, I advised Friday or Monday at the latest. He said well let's plan on Friday so we can pay for the parts so we'll see you Friday basically trying to bully me into when I was able to get car. Didn't matter how long we already had to wait and their mistakes. We went on Monday to pick up they charged us 3,316.00. When my husband brought up the conversation I had with Casey who he was dealing with Casey blatantly lied to his face and said I told your wife 3,400.00. He had absolutely no integrity and we are so disgusted with this place. I will never recommend anyone to this location. read more

If you want your car fixed then do not go here. I was charged over $1800.00 and less than a month later the same issue happened again. I was told they fixed it again but then not even 6 months later it is doing the exact same thing again. I called and again took it back (3rd time) to now be told that it is something else entirely. They could not explain how it's doing the exact same thing it did the first time but now it's a totally different issue. So i am out over $1800 and i am with a car that is still not working. I will never go back to this shop and i will let everyone know that if they want to give away money then to chose a charity. This amounted to the same thing but it was not a good cause. read more

Horrible management, I dealt with Ron Fiske the Manager. Just asked a simple request if I could see the parts that were changed out (After the work was to be done). He got real cocky and weird, as though I had no right to question him. I just said I don't know you and its just a good idea as a consumer to get the proof. He got very jerky and said that I don't know you either.. very defensive and rude. No customer service skills, just jerky. This told me that apparently he probably was pissed that I dare ask for proof. I was very polite to him and he treated me like dirt! Needless to say, I didn't do any work there, and never will.
