Now I know it's not a requirement or a law that I must do anything but my son could not get them to listen. Then he asked about a military discount since he was getting the oil changed for his Dad who is retired military. She called him a liar and said she has worked their for over a year and she knows he can't be. In the end my son was called a liar, was charged over 100 bucks and left feeling taken advantage of and humiliated. Just prior to my husband's passing, he noticed a tire pressure warning light but he was unable to fix it or get to Fuerst for help. Today I drove our car for the first time since my husband died. I drove to Fuerst and with my cane hobbled to the front door to find that it was closed. As I got into my car to leave, Mike came out the front door to ask what kind of help I needed. I was in tears due to circumstances, apologized and explained. Mike offered condolences and even though they were closed, he told me to pull up and he would check my tires. Mike was so gracious, patient and kind. He properly inflated all 4 tires and said if the warning light returns to come back on Monday. As a family owned business, Fuerst Automotive continues to prove how much it values its customers and cares about the community. Mike is a prime example of that excellence. I don't know of many businesses that would've reached out when closed to help someone during a difficult time. I wish I could give Fuerst 10 stars because they deserve it. So I went this morning and he was on his way out to an appt. He ran outside and asked if I could come back in an hour as he needed to get to this appt. I said sure and left. He was very apologetic but I get it, life happens and we all have things that pop up. I went back around 12:45 and waited a bit as there was another customer in the bay ahead of me. As soon as the other car was complete I was waived into the bay. I showed him the Groupon and I accidentally purchased the incorrect Groupon for my vehicle (I have a Jetta) oops so he told me he would honor that one and had me pull up Groupon to see what the cost would be if I had purchased the correct one. He just charged me the difference for the one I had purchased and the cost of the one I should've purchased. I know for next time. It's a small business with two bays. I think it's just him and one other employee. He's very nice and I like to support small family businesses. I was in and out pretty quick too. He told me my tires pressure was really low. Explains why my sensor came on. Yes I'm one of those women! Anyway I recommend J's oil change.
