As far as the food, I ordered an eggplant parm sub, which unfortunately lacked any flavor. It was a nice size sub though. The garlic knots tasted more of oil rather than garlic. My husband did enjoy the pizza and said it was good. It could have been an off night for the restaurant but sadly our first experience was not positive enough to hurry back.

I parked in the parking lot where there was a lot of spaces and also ample street parking. They have a really cute patio with lights on for the warmer months, and the inside looked really nice. I follows signs for the pick up area, where there was one person waiting. A worker immediate came up. I gave him my name, he grabbed my pizza, I paid, and I was on my way! The medium pizza was significantly bigger than I expected. I got the dad's pizza since it had both clams and pesto, my two favorite toppings, and I haven't seen anything on a clam pizza in other shops. It was warm and the dough was well cooked. The pizza itself was very good. Generous amounts of clam, the pesto had a good flavor, and overall well salted which I can find lacking in other places. I will definitely be coming back whenever I need pizza.

Our waitress I think her name was Susan D according to the check was very good. The drinks, and appetizers, Barrata salad, and beet salad were awesome. But the steaks not so much. We ordered the 40 day aged rib eyes. We all ordered them medium rare, and they all came to the table way overcooked. It was very disappointing considering they are expensive, and this is a high end Steak restaurant. and we were not the only ones unhappy as the table behind us had the same experience. in fairness they did offer to take them back, but we decided to keep them because we didn't feel right having them thrown away. Also while I'm here I would also recommend staying away from the garlic mashed potatoes as well. We are definitely not overly picky people, but I think some constructive criticism is needed here. As I said we enjoyed our visit, and we would definitely go back and try them again. I would recommend not spending the extra on the 40 day aged steak, pass on the garlic mashed if you can, and make sure to insist your steak be cooked to proper order.

I tried my husbands and it was nice and smooth with hints of honey. My sister in law and I had white raspberry vodka martinis. Again smooth and refreshing. At this point, we all would've given the place a solid five. That is until the steaks came. Three of us had the dry aged ribeyes we ordered them medium rare. They were served well done. Not a hint of red or pink! The waitress asked us to cut into them to see if they were to our liking. We all said they were overcooked. Not the waitresses fault. She was great. We asked what they did with overdone ones sent back and she said they 86'd them. We couldn't bare throwing all that food out so we ate them. The char on the outside was good but we feel that's what caused them to be overdone. The flavor was ok but at $68 a plate you expect your steak to be served the way you requested it. We were very disappointed and no compensation was offered. By the way, the guy at the table behind us sent his back because it was overdone as well. My husband had the surf and turf special filet with shrimp over mashed potatoes. He was happy with his meal. It's a beautiful place and we were happy with everything except the steak. But that's a big except when that is the reason we went there. If you go and want medium rare ask for rare and you might get lucky. Otherwise stick to the tavern down below the steakhouse.

(Definitely recommend stopping at Mama Rosa's for a pie on your way to the brewery since it's just down the road). A group of us ordered 3 pies - buffalo, veggie, and the Mama Rosa special which had a variety of meats. I only had the buffalo but it was SO good. I can't stand a lame buffalo pizza that's mostly ranch flavored. Mama Rosa's actually laid it on and gave me the flavor I was craving. And then I ate a lot of slices of it. I didn't try the veggie though it was COVERED in broccoli so you better be a broccoli fan (I am not) - each slice weighed no less than 9 pounds. Now, the only reason I took a star off is because they are EXPENSIVE, at least in my opinion. 3 pizzas was $80. We thought our friend made a mistake when he paid, but no, when you look online, the prices listed are either small or medium, not large. Large was about $26 per pie (plus tax). Seems a little steep but we all agreed "at least the pizza was really good." Split between 6 people, it was a reasonable price, but the bill kind of had us gawking at first.
