Anniversary Dessert! Brownie with whip & vanilla ice cream!

Okay now, this place had me kinda cautious a bit because I was looking @ some of the reviews, and it was like half & half liked it - and not liked it. So I decided that we would try'em out. The food, customer service, and restaurant setting was A+++ We were actually here in Virginia Beach,Va for our anniversary. So they gave us a complimentary dessert free of charge. But I can't rave enough about how great our food was... 1 word: "DELECTABLE" Our Server was Sooooo Courteous and Friendly, as well as Professional. I wish I remembered her name, cause I would recommend everyone to ask for her; She was the truth!!! (very good) So if you're ever in this area of Virginia Beach Please check this spot out !!!!!!

Abbey Road is themed in The Beatles and John Lennon and decorated very cool and unique . The staff was amazing and the road was mediocre . I got their signature hamburger and it was decent , I'm sure it's just as good here than anywhere else you would go unless you like seafood and there are plenty of seafood restaurants along Atlantic Avenue.

The good thing about this place is the nice, attentive staff. My waitress was really nice, attentive and informative. Unfortunately, nothing else. When we walked in, the place smelled really old; like we were walking into someone's grandparents house. The food was horrible. The best meal was the shrimp kids meal and that was the best by texture, not flavor. Nothing here had salt or any type of flavor. My husband ordered the marinated steak. For the price, it was really really small, not mention flavorless and tough to chew like jerky. I got fried fish that was just as flavorless and dry. To top it all off, in the ladies bathroom, the toilet had a large smear of feces on the bowl. SMH We won't be back, ever.

Always eat at Abbey Road's at least every other day when at VA Beach. Seafood is always fresh & cooked just right; last night it was fried oysters - so sooo GOOD!!!

My friends and I came here for dinner around 8:30 on a Thursday night. We originally sat outside but a big group of people stood next to us and were smoking so we moved inside. Our waitress was understanding. There was live music but it was loud so we had to yell to hear one another. I tried the grilled Mahi with rice. It wasn't great, no flavor. My friend is gluten free so it was a great spot because there were lots of options. She got the vegetarian pasta which she really liked. My other friend got the Jamaican jerk chicken but she said it wasn't great.

We stopped in for a Sunday lunch before heading out of town. It was not very busy. My boyfriend has a lot of food allergies and we learned that the owners family is celiac which is why there was such an extensive gluten free menu. They have separate cutting boards, friers and cooking areas to make sure no cross contamination. His aunts had the fish tacos which they loved! I had the club sandwich which was excellent and my boyfriend had the gluten free club! We really enjoyed it!

Whoo where to begin with this one. My wife and I decided to come here for dinner on 5/19. It was…read moreher first time coming for actual food and it was my first time ever. She had always wanted to try it, it had a happy hour menu with food and drinks, so why not. We parked, walked the few feet over, got seated outside, and waited. Our waitress, Taya, was an absolute gem. Only 2 months working there and she was in her element for us. It was quite humid outside but it wasnt uncomfortable. The inside though was big and spacious (the big wall of Makers Mark alcohol bottles was quite a site to see). Now onto the food and drinks: For drinks I ordered their Catch 31 Orange Crush (delicious) and they went out of their way to prepare me a Irish Car Bomb (shot of Baileys Irish Cream in a pint of Guinness) the best they could and it worked out beautifully. My wife just had her favorite Blue Moon on tap and she had no complaints. For food we ordered a Buffalo Mac and Cheese (wife), The Mack (me) and coconut shrimp (share). The Mac and cheese my wife had blew her mind. The couple bites I took I could see why. The buffalo chicken on top was melt in your mouth tender and the cheese sauce balanced the spice out nicely. The Mack I had was a double cheeseburger with thousand island dressing, lettuce, onions, tomato, and pickles. I've mentioned the best burger I've ever had came from Smashed RVA but now it has competition in this one. It was fresh, juicy, and the toasted bun made it all come together. So good in fact I ordered a second one to go. Speaking of... The coconut shrimp we shared was so tender and the sweet chili dipping sauce would make your eyes pop out your head. It was spot on cooked, nice golden brown color, and very flavorful. My wife doesn't even like spicy food or coconut even but even she said she loved all of it. We got a second order of the shrimp to take home too. I talked to the manager on duty, named William, and told him my feelings and thanked him for a wonderful experience and meal and that we would definitely be back again. I can't speak for the people who gave this place negative feedback but I can say for my wife and I we had zero issues with the service, staff, and food.

DO NOT GO HERE!! Last weekend we went with friends we were visiting for a quick dinner. 3 of us…read moreordered oysters and we all got sick within a few hours. The oysters weren't good either. Not shucked well, got shell and really lacked flavor. The peel and eat shrimp were overcooked resulting in an unpleasant texture. My salad was good though severely overdressed. The view is awesome. Service was okay but not worth it to risk getting sick. Go somewhere else where they know how to properly handle seafood esp raw bar items.

Brilliant idea. The hostess took our name and phone number and we received a txt when our table was ready. The hostess was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance was amazing. Since it is mainly a seafood restaurant the aesthetic was ocean or bay themed. They had great decorations of coral reef and other things found in the ocean around the restaurant. They had a great seating area for patrons who were waiting for a table. The service was impeccable. Our waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Since it was our first time at this restaurant we were unsure about what we should order. She gave great suggestions. We ordered the fried oysters, oyster burger, and shrimp with vegetables and eggs. We also ordered a pineapple crush and the localizer. The food was very flavorful and fresh. The oyster burger was very unique it had a fried oyster on top of the patty which was great. It was cooked to perfection and very juicy. The fried oysters were great as well. They came with Pita bread and spinach dip to make an oyster sandwich. Amazing!!! The drinks were on point as well. They weren't too strong but they weren't weak either. I recommend trying out this restaurant if you are in the area. It is totally worth the wait.

Easily enough for four people. I had the shrimp and grits with scallops, and it was hands down the best thing I've eaten all year. The chocolate espresso martini was the perfect complement to my meal. My wife loved her spicy margarita and described the French toast as beautifully balanced with fresh, warm flavors. This is a must-stop every time we come to VA. Highly recommend.

Everything went well together! The pickled okra was a revelation. I liked it! The pita bread was warm, flavorful and had great texture. The raw clam and mussel were okay. The place was spotless and decorated with...driftwood pictures. Obviously. It's in the name, folks. There is a free parking lot onsite which is a plus, but it's very tight. Larger SUVs and trucks may have a tough time. Our waitress was nice and went back to the kitchen to get an answer for my food question (they're white onions not red in the veggie omelet). I was also a fan of her raspy voice. Whoever did their website did a great job...at deceiving the public. The pictures look much better than how the food tasted. Maybe I should've ordered differently? I ended up getting the veggie omelet (without peppers and tomatoes). One plus was that they didn't pre-butter the toast. I liked that. Most places put gobs of butter on, that I end up wiping off with a napkin. This is also one of the few places that sell creamed chip beef (which isn't my jam but might be yours)!
