If you are looking for a dive bar on Shore Drive than this is your place. I do like a good dive bar, not everyone does. It's in a shopping plaza so there is plenty of parking. It's dark inside - no natural light. Very friendly staff. Lots of TV's. They have booths and tables and of course a bar. They don't have HH - they have the same prices all night long and they are not expensive. The bathrooms were clean. We ordered the wings and loaded fries. I am no expert on wings but my husband really liked them. The bartender, Kaitlyn - with a K, is a walking billboard for them. She loves them and told us that she can't get them anywhere else now. How do you not order wings after hearing that endorsement?? Menu has plenty of options and a little for everybody.....even if you want a salad. Would I bring my mother here? Nope. But it's the kind of place you will be a regular after just a few visits. We left maybe around 8 ish and it definitely started getting louder with the music. This place came recommended by a local for a quick dinner before a basketball tournament. We arrived at 6:30 and 2 server/bartender walked past us felt made us feeling invisible. I looked at my watch at 6:33 and noted the time. At 6:36 I said I'll give them a solid 5 minutes to get back to us from first pass. We walked out at 6:38. Possibly, with their hands full as they passed by, could they have said, seat yourself, I'll bring menus over or l be right with you? Of course but they didn't! I've been coming here for about 15 years. It's a locals sports bar, where everybody knows your name. Home away from home. Hands down, the best wings on Shore Drive; and the most charming bartenders. They also got new kitchen staff recently; and the food got even better. The kitchen is also open till 11p Thurs-Sat now. -Much bigger than you expect from the outside: Large bar that seats 25+; a dozen or so tables/booths; a stage and dance floor. -No reservation necessary for large parties. -TVs everywhere you look, any channel you want. -Several slot machines, Golden Tee & Touch Tunes Juke Box -DJ on Friday It should be obvious by the word "Bar" in the name, but tables seat themselves and the bartenders will come take your order ASAP. If you want service faster, walk 3 steps up to the bar and ask. Or cry on Yelp cause you had to wait 5 whole minutes. Says more about you than the establishment. read more

Can't believe that inside is that nice! I passed this place many times but it had never caught my eyes. One of my neighbors took me there to show their favorite spot. Happy hour was awesome! Nice decent place. Went there to just have a drink for my husbands birthday and happened to be watching the Eagles vs Buffalo game. Wasn't many people in there (under 10). Staff was very engaged in the game they did get us what we needed in a timely fashion once we got their attention at least. They didn't have one thing I ordered but that was ok the food we could order was good. It's a good place to go have a drink or two. read more

If anything makes me happy, it is happy hour! What I love about this place is that their happy hour is from open to close! The only thing that I didn't like is that their food specials for happy hour is from 5 until 5:30. They have great prices and the wait time is pretty short. They do have DJs on Thursday night into the weekend, and live cover bands as well. I believe they also have byob nights too with no fee. What kind of bar does this? The staff is also very friendly and so were the people at the bar. I dined alone since I am new to the area, but everyone made me feel welcomed. I've been here a few times before & tonight was the same disappointment, will not be returning. The only thing this bar has going for it is the cheap drinks and ridiculously cheap deals/specials they have in order to desperately try and compensate for the extreme lack of customers. If you're looking for an exciting bar to have a good time and get drunk and/or have halfway decent food, this is NOT your bar. If your goal is to get drunk while being broke and listening to really bad music while there being 3 or 4 other patrons just sitting around with below average customer service, this is your spot. Tonight i came in 30 minutes before closing and asked if they were still serving food. They said yes and i ordered subpar chicken tenders (out of the 3 or 4 options). I got my food and then I asked for ketchup, which was a mistake. This crazy lady (surely with undiagnosed mental health issues) started to attempt to insult me. First yelling in front of everybody (including the bartenders) that Im a bad guy for ordering food 30 minutes before they closed. Which i get but at the same time they couldve said no & i wished they had because the food was a complete waste of money. She then proceeds to insult my facial features and hair and (desperately) trying to get a reaction out of me. Poor lady, i feel bad for her. She even threatened me and said that if she owned the bar (i believe she worked there and was off work) she would beat me up. I laughed it off and continued eating my meal and she continued until the moment i walked out the door. What did the bartenders do? Absolutely nothing, they laughed and continued closing down. I get they're coworkers, but a little unprofessional. Was never enticed when i went before and theres no real benefit to going. Highly do not recommend. Will not be returning. Hope the lady gets the medical help she needs. It didn't really affect me bc she has some issues i can tell she was working through, but next time i would prefer a bartender to at least suggest she calm down a notch or 2. My friend invited me out to listen to some 70's cover band who was actually really good. The prices here aren't the worst, in fact they are pretty affordable but the service needs some fine tuning, I think only one lady server was there for every table.Every time I had looked for her, I couldn't find her but then again if she was the only server for the WHOLE place, she was dealing with a lot. Kudos to her. I had ordered the Fried Shrimp and Fries, my other yelpers mentioned how good they were, they were just ok, nothing spectacular. The fries, which were curly, are always a winner for me. Every experience I've had here is awesome and everyone is super friendly :) which honestly is one of the most important things, no one wants to spend their money at a place where they feel unwelcome. I alwaays have a blast here because $3 wells, beers, glasses of wine are offered ALL day, EVERY day. On top of that, it's $4 you-call-it's and $5 top-shelf shots. DJs come in on weekend nights, and I'd like to think they start playing their sets at 11? Some Djs are fun and can keep the crowd dancing on the floor, but most of the time, the transitions are executed poorly... like a line dance packs the dance floor and the song gets transitioned into a not-well-known Latin song. The bar food is standard with reasonable prices. If you get the drunk munchies, don't hesitate to try something off the menu. They're typically always out of lumpia though. This is the spot for the pregame before the uber ride to the block or if things get too good, staying here is just as fantastic. The thirst bar is the number one thing you want to observe and take notes on. It's hilarious! If destroying your liver isn't your thing, people watching is just as great of an experience, so I don't even mind being the designated driver. The drinks are poured soo right. On top of that they also have a large selection of beers to choose from. This place is good for groups as well which I find is hard to come across at other bars. Bayside is a fun spot to eat, drink, and dance with your friends. Depending on the day of the week, expect it to be a like a regular night on the weekdays. If head over here on the weekend there will be people checking ID at the door. My friends like eating the wings and apps here. Well drinks are super cheap pretty much $4. I never had a problem with service here, I can say from my experiences that the bartenders are attentive. Music is always on point, something for everyone. read more

The bartenders are on their game every night, the music isn't terrible, there's usually toilet paper in the bathroom, AND drinks don't cost an arm. Seems to be the local spot, everyone knew everyone but me and my boyfriend. Still very nice and welcoming. Not to mention the big selection of beer, which was really affordable. I feel like other bars over charge for any beer. Not this place, 3 bucks a beer, and I'm retry sure that's all the time. At least that's what a sign said. Came here yesterday for HH with my bf. We were immediately greeted by Lisa, the bartender. She was very busy, as she was the only one working the bar at the time. She was extremely nice and did a great job to get our drink orders out to us quickly. Another man came in and started assisting her with the orders. His name was Butch-extremely nice and welcoming. We later found out that he was the GM. He was very personable and was great about telling us all the specials. They have 5:00-5:30 specials every day. All of the food on that special menu is only $5!!! We ordered 1/2 pound of fried shrimp and mozzarella sticks. It was all very delicious and very fresh. The breading on the shrimp was to die for, along with the special chili sauce to dip it in. Drinks were $3 wells, $4 you call its, and $5 premium. Also $3 well shots. All day everyday 5- close.
