I was passing through town and turned to yelp for a recommendation... First let me say I have no idea why this place only has 3.5 stars. Instantly when I walked in I loved the atmosphere. Very classy and vibrant yet inviting. My server was Chris and he was fantastic. Attentive to all my needs and pre bussed the table well. For my meal I had the steak au puoive with lobster risotto and grilled asparagus with a side of Brussel sprouts. It was incredible! My only dissapointment was a little gristle through the middle of the steak that was a bit annoying ... But not a deal breaker. My husband took me here the night we got engaged four years ago and we've actually been coming to celebrate our anniversaries the past couple of years. It's local but great food, or it used to be. We had our first son last year so we haven't been here in a while just because. We ordered a Caesar salad and the lobster dip for apps. The salad was bland with little dressing and the lobster dip my husband said tastes too fishy. He ordered the scallops and I got the filet. They changed their menu as well so the meal I wanted was no longer on it. I asked for the horseradish on the side. His scallops were half the size of what they used to be and over cooked. Then steal was cooked perfect but they ruined my dish by smothering it in the horseradish sauce which made my nose and face light up on fire. I couldn't eat it. Our son was getting annoyed at that point so we left and couldn't wait for two whole new meals to come out. We also ordered him a grilled cheese and it was great for an adult but a kid it had sooo much cheese he could've choked. I had to rip a lot off. The service was still great and the manager who we've seen there all the time was extremely kind with the situation and took care of the two meals we didn't eat but he food was disappointing. The kitchen didn't make enough of the cod so I had to wait longer for my meal, but at least it was hot when I finally received it. I found two bones in my fish. Once we arrived, we immediately made comments on how we loved the layout and the bar area. We were seated immediately without a reservation. Ordered salmon, sweet potato fries, and broccolini. Salmon was dry. Probably my fault. I ordered it well done because usually when you receive it it's a little too soft for me. My friend ordered the salmon also. Theirs looked just right. It was also Not seasoned enough for me. Would have preferred blackened for more flavor. I brought most of it home added butter blackened seasoning and Cajun seasoning and reheated it. It was tasty. Sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection. Very tasty. Broccolini was tough. Ordered garlic knots. They were not cooked sufficiently, a little doughy. But I've found that in a lot of restaurants. They don't wait for that golden brown color. My husband ordered the roasted cod with fingerling potatoes. And didn't finish it so I had it the next day. The cod was very tasty I cooked the potatoes and they came out nice and soft so I imagine they weren't like that the first day. He also had the clam chowder but when asked how does it compare to Legals he didn't respond. At home he said not as good as Legal's clam chowder. My friend's husband ordered the buffalo cauliflower as an appetizer I didn't taste it but it looked so good and I think he enjoyed it because he finished it and used a piece of pita bread to finish the sauce. He also had a noodle bowl which he didn't finish so I don't think he enjoyed it very much because we have had dinner plenty of times before and he usually finishes all his meals. My friend had asparagus with her meal and they seemed to be fork tender nothing like the broccolini. To be fair the food was ok I just ordered wrong. I shouldn't have asked for well done salmon or switched out the asparagus for the broccolini. I would return to try some other items on the menu. read more

What I like about Abby Park is for the food is consistent. I like the local art work in the walls and for the most part never had a bad meal. I always start with their steak pizza. The thin crust is cook perfectly and the steak always a perfect medium add onion, bleu cheese and drizzled balsamic can someone say yum. I have literally only ever ordered Uber Eats from here and every single time it is unbelievable. I get the chicken piccata. I've gotten the filet, the rib eye, Buffalo cauliflower, burrata , kids chicken tenders, salmon, chicken wings...... and if you order take out you know sometimes things come completely different than if you order it when you dine in.... Had brunch here on a Sunday afternoon. Brunch is served until 3 p.m., which is totally awesome. I ordered the French toast with Canadian bacon. It's a HUGE deal for $9. I was really surprised at how many pieces of toast appeared on my plate. Just enough confectioner's sugar sprinkled on top. The syrup was thick, and very sweet (in addition to the confectioner's sugar). The server was delightful in getting the meal out really quickly. Great ambiance and atmosphere for a date night. The server seems a little hasty when it came to getting the entrees out. While we were clearly working on our appetizers and she brought out the entrees and sat there for awhile before the manager came over and placed plates over the food to keep it warm. First time there and it did not disappoint. From the moment I called (Jeff) was awesome. Walked in and Jeff was there super cheerful and attentive. He told us all about the App hour, which is a great special. I loved what they did to make the space safe. Partitions are placed between tables but are built in to look like window panes. It really makes a difference and give off a wonderful ambiance. We ordered the Lobster Dip, Shrimp and Calamari, Sesame Crab Cake, Clam Chowder, BBQ Ribs and Creme Brûlée for dessert. Shrimp and Calamari was my favorite app, the crab cake was right up there too. All of the food was good the ribs fell off the bones. I was taken by my Family for dinner because I wanted good,fresh seafood. I'm visiting from Michigan and every time I come home I need to have my fix of Fresh Fish. I have to say from the time we arrived till we left there isn't a complaint I could make. The atmosphere was very inviting and warm as well as the waitstaff. The food was out of this world!!! I had the seared sea scallops with the lobster risotto. Amazing!! Everyone in our group was as happy as a clam if you'll pardon the pun. Went to Abby Park last night with some work friends to celebrate a birthday. We sat at the bar while waiting for the whole party to arrive. Bartender was attentive and efficient. The Nor'easter martini is recommended. Once the whole party showed up, our table was immediately available. A huge plus since the restaurant was rather busy. Once seated, our waitress ( she didn't introduce herself, a minor pet peeve of mine) was professional and efficient. Although she seemed somewhat frazzled, she provided excellent service to our party. The food: We ordered the lobster dip ( on recommendation from our waitress) and the grilled gouda cheese apps. Both were delicious although I could have done without the fruit and nut compote that came with the gouda. Lobster dip was phenomenal. For an entrée, I ordered the soy marinated swordfish with wasabi mashed potatoes and shitake mushrooms. Swordfish was cooked to perfection, very moist and flavorful. My dinner companions loved their meals as well and I did sample the lobster risotto from the seared scallops and lobster risotto entrée. Alas I found it to be a little on the bland side. Dessert: two desserts were brought to the table in honor of the birthday girl. I don't know exactly what they were since we gave carte blanche to the kitchen to bring out what they wanted. One was a fudgey chocolate cake type dish with a single candle in it. The second was a warm apple crisp/pie like tart (my favorite). I appreciated the fact that half the staff didn't come out to sing happy birthday while they delivered the desert. A bit more classy. Recommended. read more

There was this bartender yesterday Friday 10/7 and she was very Ignorant and no matter. I have been going to abby park for year's and I was taking my gf to celebrate her birthday. we got shut down by the rude and disrespectful Bartender (female) she was awful to not just me but to others that night .When ask to speak to the manager he didn't do anything and was rude. I came here a while ago for dinner. I came here with a girlfriend to catch up. We had a four course meal basically. I had mocktails and she had cocktails. Appetizers were not bad. Desserts were ok. The worse part was i decided to order a filet mignon here. Im a med rare kinda girl but because i was pregnant i order medium. My steal came out blue. Because i work in the industry, i REALLY hate complaining or sending food back but i didnt have a choice, it would be wrong of me to eat it. So i asked the server and she took it back. The same exact steAk cMe back again. This time maybe rare. The owner who was sitting 2 table next to me was drinking and eating with his friends. He saw that something was wrong so he got up and ask me whats wrong. I told him i couldnt eat the steak it was too rare. He brought the steak back out, i kid u not the center of the steak of the ugliest color ever. Just a pale red. It was so bad. I told him i couldnt eat it. He said to me... its cooked. Its the lighting in the restaurant that makes it look like that. He left the plate on the table and went back to drinking. I didnt know what to do so i just eat around the outside and left the rest. Came here for a 7:45 reservation on Mother's Day and the restaurant was about 60% full with many parties already eating/wrapping up (=not any busier than a typical night). We had Mark as server based on the receipt. He came over rushed, without a greeting or a simple Happy Mother's Day (when it was clear there was an older woman and I'm 8 months pregnant in our party of 3), and first words "Did you decide on drinks?" Dropped our drinks and said "Are you ready?" Then a runner brought over our appetizer and Mark spent about 7 minutes chatting up the table next to us, never to ask how the app was. We got the shrimp and calamari. The shrimp did not exist and the calamari to tart pickled fried veg and olive tapenade ratio made the dish virtually inedible. Another runner dropped off our mains and Mark was unseen until he decided to randomly drop off Ginger Betty's cookies (perhaps sensing our growing displeasure with his service). The entrees (lamb chops, salmon, and cod) were good though the risotto and the rice on two dishes was hard. We ate it anyways bc by the time Mark came by with the cookies, we already had our mains for awhile and assumed he wasn't going to come over. Retrain Mark and we'll return. read more

Absolutely the BEST seafood fra diavolo I've ever had! The sauce was phenomenal, the seafood was abundant and perfectly cooked, and the portion size was hearty! I can't wait to order this again. The prices can be a little high but rightfully so, as you're getting high quality AND quantity. (I mean it even had lobster knuckles. And the shrimp and scallops were so tender!) My husband and I went to Abby Park on a Friday night. We were excited to try some place new. We made reservations and arrived a little early but we were quickly seated. The hostess was very welcoming. The manager walked by us several times and never spoke but interacted with other customers near and around us.....not a problem. We ordered clam chowder and it was delicious. We were waiting for our food and noticed a couple who sat next to us well after we were seated ordered an appetizer and their meal came. Then I noticed a family of 6 who were seated after us ordered an appetizer and their meals came shortly after. My husband spoke to the hostess and the manger came over and tried to explain that food was coming and it takes longer because we ordered an appetizer. It's understandable that can happen but others were seated after us, ordered appetizers and received their food. Needless to say we asked for the check, paid for our appetizer and drinks and left. The food here is phenomenal!! I had the lamb burger and the flavor was amazing!! The maitre d was great and very attentive. The waitress was nice. For dessert, we split the chocolate lava cake. I would give this place 0 stars, except that I've had really good, gluten free meals here in the past. I went with a friend last night, and said right up front that I had a gluten allergy, and then we placed our order. Apps came out (scallops in pancetta) and was really good. Our meals came out, but nothing was said. I asked the waitress if it was, in fact, gluten free. She didn't know and brought it back to the kitchen where they made another one. Meanwhile, my friends meal is getting cold. So they were nice enough to put it under a heat lamp. The meals came out AGAIN, and I was told that the plate was gluten free. Halfway through my chicken saltimbocca, I crunch down on a CROUTON. My heart (and stomach sank). Meanwhile, my friends meal had NO croutons. I've had this meal in the past with no issue. The waitress was extremely apologetic and sweet (hence my not rating this one star), and the manager came over shortly after. I didn't get his name, but he insisted that my plate was gluten free (according to the kitchen). Which made no sense because the other plate of it at our table had none in it. Welp, here it is the morning after, and my stomach and GI are in complete distress. I now don't really feel confident dining here again, and can't recommend it to those with food allergies. They really need some way to demarcate plates (a flag? different shaped plate?) if they're going to claim that they can make things gluten free and get them to the right person at the table. read more
