From the start of getting a quote, scheduling and then us needing a reschedule, they were so communicative. Kyle and his team called the morning of to let us know they were on their way and got there early. They loaded up so quickly, made sure everything was packed safely and secure. We even had two pick up stops for a storage unit and a house. Kyle's team made sure and accommodate us with placing items needing access for 2nd pickup easily for us. I really appreciated the communication in the drive so we could appropriately time the unload since we were driving 6 hours. Kevin is brilliant in how he packs up the truck to maximize its occupancy. One day, one truck and one trip he moved our 4 bedroom house. Unloading was fast and efficient, taking in furniture that wouldn't fit in the doorways, he figured out other non-conventional ways to get it in without scratching the door frame, staircase or walls. The final payment was not very far from the initial estimate Sarah had given on the phone. I was shopping around for prices and I like how she would politely text and leave me messages to remind me they were still interested in my business. The two movers, Tim, the crew leader, and Sergei, were both very professional, courteous, and took great care with all of my possessions. I had a lot of furniture and 85 boxes and a long stairway for them to go down, and they were very careful with their hand trucks on each step. Nothing I own was damaged. Tim also disassembled and reassembled a large dining table I was concerned about. I left some items curbside for LA Sanitation "Bulky Item Pickup" (I had previously arranged the pickup) to pick up the next day (which they did), and both movers cooperated with me every step of the way. They were also careful moving items into the hardwood floors of my new apartment, reassembling the table, lamps etc. in my new place. I chose Trek because of their very favorable reviews on Yelp and Google, but what really sold me on them was the way their Customer Service people Arthur and Andrew handled my initial calls. I called several movers, but both Arthur and Andrew at Trek were outstanding communicators and from the first call made me feel confident and well informed regarding my move. It's amazing how quickly one can fill a space. I was at full capacity. Whenever I have a project, Yelp, has been wonderful in getting me the assistance needed. Elite movers was the first (and forever my only) company to request lots of pictures with all cupboards open, an approximation of cost and duration, and customer service that took the time to answer all questions. The move day went off without incident. My crew consisted of four strong fellas-my crap being packed left and right, furniture being moved, boxes toted off, things I wasn't taking headed for the trash etc. They were all done by 1:30 or so and headed to the new place so I stopped for pizza/soda for them. All boxes unloaded and furniture placed where requested. Elite finished their job by about 3:30. I like them less now. The remaining boxes to unpack seem to have multiplied in the garage like bunnies but at least they are in one place. Great value for the money and no stress with packing things safely!
