RUN AWAY!!! My husband got a MASSIVE foot infection after his pedicure, resulting in hospital admission and 3 different IV antibiotics.

I personally would not recommend this shop. My pedicure was average (it wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best ever). I got the deluxe for $35 which consisted of a mask, 4 minute massage (2 minutes per leg), mud, and the other regular aspects of a pedicure. The massage was okay, and the experience was fine, but honestly my cuticles could've been trimmed a bit better and the massage could've been better. As for my mom (who went with me on this trip), her visit was less than stellar. She also requested the deluxe pedicure but as soon as the guy finished trimming her nails and with the callus remover, he started painting her nails. He didn't give her the mud, the mask, a massage, or any lotion. When she questioned him, he pumped out some lotion and did a subtle massage. When it was time to pay, we informed them that my mom didn't get a deluxe pedicure. Instead of really being remorseful or really apologetic. They brought the guy to the front told him some stuff (in their home language) and tried to claim she got a deluxe version. When we said what was not included, the lady finally charged us accordingly. This place is really just a joke. I think it is a little deceptive to try to charge for a service that wasn't rendered. Save yourself some trouble and go elsewhere. read more

I am really disappointed. I have been here numerous times for pedicures. They have always done a great job. Today I called to see how much a half leg wax would be. DO NOT GET WAX HERE! I get regular Brazilian waxes at another place. I wax the rest of my body on my own. The backs of my legs are always a hard area to get. I like to get my thighs professionally waxed occasionally. I always go to nail salons, and it is usually no big deal. When I got to the room, the woman asked me to lay down with the door open. Then I asked if I could undress with the door closed. Maybe she didn't know we were doing legs. She came back, I told her I just wanted to do the tops of my legs. Half leg, the thigh. There was some sort of misunderstanding because she started waxing my calf. I had just shaved a few days ago, so I know the hair wasn't long enough for wax. I tried to ask her to only do the top, 2-3 times. She then tells me it is going to be extra for the whole leg. I told her I just want half. Another woman comes into the room. They begin pointing out parts of my legs, and it felt like they were confused and snickering... They were both waxing me. They started waxing high up on my leg, near my buttocks. They were not holding the skin tight so they pulled multiple times without getting the wax or hair. This is VERY painful and anyone who has been waxed know the pain of a bad pull. Twice they pulled a strip multiple times. Finally a 3rd woman comes into the room. I tell her I only wanted the top of my legs waxed. She explains to them. I told them it was okay, I'd just do the back. I could do the front myself. They began talking again to each other. When I walked out of the room, I was so embarrassed because they were all giggling and staring at me. I don't know if they were laughing because of the misunderstanding or me, but it was so uncomfortable. Long story short, go here for nails. Take a pass on the waxing. I'm giving the nails place a 3 stars because they are so nice and helpful but I was a walk-in for a pedicure I asked if they had time they said yes, I was seated in a chair right away however I waited and hour and half before they came to me and my water at the point was cold. I got the Volanic stress relief package and when it came to my foot message part it seemed he did not want to really message so it felt like a waste since that was what I was looking for towards. The woman I was placed with did not even attempt to get all the acrylic off from my last set. First nono. Second she attempted to pop off what was left. Third. First time trying this salon, I looked up the services menu on their website, decided I wanted a hard gel full set. I went in and they said they don't do that. I showed them the website to make sure I was looking at the right one, they told me it was their website but they don't offer that service(?) so I settled for something else. The man that did my nails (I think his name is Ben) did not soak my hands or address my cuticles, just started with the acrylics right away. He was making phone calls and texting while working with me, he was rough, and used old beat up nail files which left black chunks in my nails. At the end, he had me apply my own cuticle oil and lotion and sent me on my way. I gave 2 stars because the salon is beautiful and the end product wasn't terrible (although not the best). read more

I usually get my nails done often at a different place but I am looking for my "back up place". I went in on a Saturday for a pedicure and manicure. There was no line so I went straight to the pedicure tub. Pedicure: It was fine. They were sanitary by using a plastic cover for the tub; however, the tub drain kept sucking the bag up and made all sorts of noise, machine grumbling...it was more work than relaxing. The lady doing my toes was great. Manicure: I wanted a gel manicure. Simple gel french tip. That is what I got. But in the process of cleaning the french tip of my skin, the lady got a little carried away and cut me deep. I was bleeding for a bit but she took care of it with seconds. She kept apologizing and it healed fine. My nails, two weeks later still look good. Service: It was difficult watching the employees manage the customers while doing nails. No sign in sheet just telling each other who they think came in first. And they would sit the customer uncomfortably in the "next in line chair" by the current person that is getting their nails done...that they dont know. It was a weird system. The family running the business was super kind and offered water while waiting. And they do different types of nail art, it seems. I went in wanting an acrylic ombré set. I showed her a photo of what I wanted. First, the lady made them way too thin and didn't look like the photo I showed her. About four days go by and one of them breaks as I'm rolling up my yoga mat. I go the next morning for them to fix it and they do it for free. Another lady fixes the nail and it was anything but ombré looking. Didn't look like the other nails whatsoever. Over the weekend, two other nails break as I'm doing simple things. I go back on Monday and let them know they are too thin. They tell me they will fix them all for free. The male, Ben, touches them all up and now, they do not look ombré and are way too thick where they look funky. Super disappointing. read more

First and last time going here. I do not recommend this place, unfortunately. The girl that did my nails tore up my cuticles bad! She cut and cut, all the while repeatedly saying 'your cuticles are bad...', even cut into skin to where it bled and said nothing. For the next few weeks my fingers were raw where she had cut with skin sticking up everywhere. I have never had this happen to this degree before. And I have never had anyone tell me that my cuticles are bad! They were friendly enough, but not skilled enough IMO. read more

I am so impressed by the quality and care she took. She is truly an artist! The salon is clean - they never reuse the same kit on anyone and their tools are sterilized. The atmosphere is pleasant. I enjoyed chatting with everyone there. Definitely give this place a try and ask for Kyana if you want some fancy fun nails! For starters, they didn't not appear to be using freshly sterilize tools. They used tools from the same box for both me and the person I was with, and replaced the tools back in the box once they used them. So there was no way to tell which were clean or not. We choose the deluxe pedicure, and barley got a massage, which was a feature of the deluxe. We were also charged $13 more than the listed price, for BOTH pedicures. I was so pleasantly surprised at how good of a job they did on my nails, I am from San Francisco and I cannot find anyone to do even close to as nice of aPink & White set as they did here at ABC nails. Something bizarre happened as I got the "deluxe" pedicure at ABC Nails. The lady who did my nails literally dug her gloved fingernails into my legs multiple times. I have dry, sensitive skin. I'm willing to pay for a quality pedicure but questionable techniques make me not want to return. I was nervous that would make my skin irritated and sure enough my legs feel raw tonight. I was looking for a quick place to stop by and get my nails done and this place was very convenient to where I was located. I was able to get in a chair quickly which was great. I did find it odd that they didn't have sample dip options to review colors but had you look at the powders on the wall. I simply get gel manicures and am not as creative as many of the clients however I will continue to travel across town to work with Kiana and her team. What good is it if you're nails don't last and the client paid a lot of money? I went in on October 10 and these 2 nails came off yesterday at the mall (October 25). I mean it's not like I'm doing extraneous activity and I work in an office. Sadly, I liked the initial job, but the fact that they weren't willing to make a client happy after my experience does not sit well. I was referred here by a friend, and so happy that they completed the job almost exactly to the picture I provided, but I've been to many nail salons in various cities and most of my nails have lasted on average about 3-4 weeks, so for these to already be breaking off after 2 weeks and I don't need fills yet nor are they lifting, is unacceptable. When I called to complain, the owner said "per policy", only nails that come off in the first 10 days are "free". And that "people who work a lot with their hands or chemicals is expected". lol are you kidding me? I work at a desk job! I get your "policy", but if 14 days later I have 2 nails that magically popped off, I don't feel I should be charged for that. To me, new business, and returning business, should be more important than trying to make a quick buck and charge me $18 for 2 nail replacements, when I paid $68 just two weeks ago! I can't justify that, and now I'll have to take my business elsewhere where the nails will last longer than 2 weeks. And it's not that the nails broke they literally came off in one piece. So either their products are cheap or they don't have strong glue or acrylics or whatever it is. Because I've had nails in the past and they have remained glued to my real nails so strongly that I can't take them off; they have to be removed professionally at the salon. So sad, I really liked the job but I can go elsewhere and get them for the same price and they will last me a lot longer. And the only reason I didn't give 1 star is because the initial job was nice. Should fix your customer service to keep clients returning! My business would have gone a lot farther than your $18 dollars for two nail replacements! Oh well! (pictures show original request, then my job that was done; some small differences to the flower and foil designs but overall pretty close, then the following pictures show 2 weeks later where hardly needing fills yet and the 2 that just came off, not broken literally whole nail fell off, couldn't find the 2nd one at the mall when it happened). This could have been easily fixed by just appeasing the client and fixing the two nails. I've been to several salons where they would be happy to do so. Apparently you care more about money than having return clientele. read more

I didn't have a good experience at this place :( we booked an appointment and had to wait 45 minutes, not because it was busy but because they only had 3 ladies working. In the middle of getting my nails done, the girl doing them said she had to stop and do someone else's nails and that another woman would finish them for me. I sat there for 15 minutes waiting with my nails half done. They offered us water but never gave us any when we said yes please. The massage is my favorite part and the lady literally just barely rubbed the lotion on my hand. Worst part was they charged us 7$ for getting a coffin shaped nail which makes zero sense cuz the shape you choose doesn't add on to the price. Wouldn't recommend :( read more

WORST NAIL SALON THEY MESSED UP MY NAILS SO BAD first time I went was good and then they drilled to deep, preyed my nails of with another tip and I'm the end result they were stuck to my skin underneath my nail !!! And was completely detached except the part that was attached to my skin.... to worried about being fast and not the basics of nails. BTW this happened 2 times one time gave them another chance, the second it was on both index fingers... and I had to rip my skin to get it off. Also nails will pop off. And my last and FINAL!
