My goodness does this place just get better and better with each visit! Well... today is take out--my wife is recovering from flu-like thingy--and now that she is feeling better was ready for comfort food, spaghetti, AND a large pizza and delicious salad. (Don't forget to ask for potato salad on the side, too!) To be clear: she's not eating all of that by herself... or, at least I hope she isn't. I'm darned hungry! The service, as always, is excellent, whether on the phone, drive through or, the best, of course, when you get to dine in! We had the best dinner! We ordered pizza and chicken Parmesan and it came out within 10 minutes, piping hot and delicious. The pizza was cheesy and perfectly cooked and they split the toppings according to our preference. The chicken Parmesan plate was enough to feed three people! My family and I had been meaning to try ABC Pizza in Land O' Lakes for about a year and a half, and I'm glad we finally made it happen. Sometimes the best local spots are the ones quietly serving their community while bigger chains get all the attention. ABC Pizza is a small, family-owned restaurant run by a local Greek family, and you can feel that community connection the moment you walk in. The dining room was clean, warm, and welcoming, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful when guiding first-time customers through their fairly large menu. Since it was our first visit, we decided to order a variety of items and share everything so we could really get a feel for what they do. Of course we ordered pizza, but we committed what some people consider the ultimate pizza sin... pineapple and ham. It's what we love, and the kitchen didn't bat an eye. The pizza was excellent - unfortunately we enjoyed it so much that I forgot to take a picture before it disappeared. We also ordered the Greek Salad ($10.75) and it was massive. This was easily a meal on its own with garden-fresh lettuce, tomato wedges, feta cheese, Greek peppers, black olives, ham, and cucumbers. Everyone at the table loved it - including my teenagers who usually avoid salads entirely. The Buffalo Chicken Wings ($8.99) were another standout. They were crispy without being breaded, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The Jalapeño Poppers ($10.50) were fine - nothing wrong with them, but they were probably the only item we tried that didn't really stand out compared to the rest of the meal. Where things got interesting for us were the grinders. We weren't exactly sure what to expect, but they're essentially a hot sandwich served on toasted bread with an open-face feel. We tried Billy's Grinder ($10.25) - a combination of meatballs and pepperoni with their house tomato sauce and melted cheese - and the Chicken Parmesan Grinder ($10.25). Both were excellent. The bread was toasted just right so it had a slight crunch on the outside while still staying soft inside, which made them incredibly satisfying to eat. Overall, ABC Pizza delivered exactly what you hope to find in a neighborhood restaurant: great food, generous portions, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. For me personally my meal was extremely greasy. The service was ok, we went at lunch time when it opened moved quickly.

I have ordered pizza a few times from this restaurant, but I wasn't thrilled with it. The last time I ordered a Greek Gyro chicken sandwich, and I was very disappointed. You could tell was fake processed chicken, I did not even want to finish the Gyro because I was so grossed out with the chicken. For a restaurant that is supposed to be Greek owned, I cannot believe that they would use processed chicken in the Gyro. If you want casual Greek food in this area, you are much better off to go to the Hungry Greek . They have real chicken breast that have been marinated and are full of flavor. read more

OK, I am silly to admit this but I have never been to any ABC Pizza location prior to today. I stumbled upon this location accidentally but I will consider my finding to be serendipitous. My child's father and I love pizza so after my DMV trip (PS: It's one turn before the Pasco Tax Collector's office on 41), I decided to grab a small pie to-go. We did a half cheese, half pepperoni pizza for $10.49 and were delighted with our purchase. Everything in the restaurant is reasonably priced and thanks to our super positive take-out experience, I look forward to returning to dine-in very soon! When I was a teacher in Pasco County, and I drove to Land O'Lakes for classes or functions, this was THE place to have lunch or dinner. The salad bar with pizza is gone, probably due to CoVid (I've been retired 10 years), but the service is still the best and the food continues to be delicious. On 4/12/23, I met 2 other retirees here for lunch. It's centrally located for the 3 of us, and we knew the prices would be good for those of us on a budget. We were greeted by friendly wait staff who were attentive the entire time we were there. We ordered hot and teas and the special of the day: shells with cheese and meat sauce or sausage or other items. I ordered just the meat sauce, and it was great. I took half home for lunch on Thursday. It was just as good the second time around. It was served with tasty garlic bread. This is a clean, casual restaurant - perfect for catching up with old friends or celebrating birthdays (did that a few times) or getting together over good food for planning (did that many, many times). We three are looking forward to returning next month for another get together! read more

One of those good little pizza places that just has good food. I haven't had their pizza before, but I tried the Italian grinder and it was very good, soft roll, packed with meat the lettuce and tomatoes were cut perfectly and the Italian dressing on it was good. Years ago, this used to be a favorite place to dine. Over the last couple of years, the gyro meat tastes like it's been in the freezer for a long time (freezer burnt) and has alot of hard gristle in it. Tsaiki sauce is way too thick. Gyro is very dry. The salad was soggy. (We got it to go.) Hope it changes back to the way it once tasted. read more

The last two times we were very disappointed in both orders, first order was burnt,called them and they wanted me to return it. We trimmed off the burnt and made the best of it. The eggplant was mushy, barely warm and hardly any sauce at all. I pointed it out to the waitress. She went and said something to, I assume, the manager, the blonde with the bun on top of her head. I went Saturday around 1:30. There were a few tables only. I was promptly greeted and ask if I wanted a booth or a table, I prefer a booth. I inquired about the wifi and the server provided it right away. I always order the House Special Pizza, pepperoni, sausages, ham, onions and cheese(skip the green peppers). This pizza is delicious time after time, the dough is fresh, you can really tell the freshness. Every time! This is my favorite place for pizza. The restaurant have been in that location for many years so the decorations are so so, outdated greek style. But don't be fooled, the place is always clean and the food is excellent. I have been picking up food here for three years. Haven't picked up in a while but called in an order for chicken fettuccine alfrado. I was shocked that it costed $4 more than the last time. DONT COME HERE!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I've been here twice and both times all the waitresses are extremely rude. The first time around they were commenting about me and my partner snickering and making remarks which for some reason I only briefly tried to acknowledge and address but otherwise ignored. The second time was even worse. we came in and I noticed they closed at 9 (it was 8:40) so I asked if I could just steal a table to sit and talk until they close (20 minutes). 5 minutes later this quarter back of a woman asked if I was ordering food. I explained when I saw they were closing I only asked to use a table and they said yes. She was so rude it was beyond me. She basically just said to leave anyway and that they wanted to clean up and close even though there were for certain TWO people sitting at separate tables with nothing ordered and nothing on their tables. They were always very good. Even through the pandemic and with some slight menu changes... still a good place. Now I must admit, My hubby misses your ribs and I miss the greek chicken as it limits me a little on what I can get from your menu - I can't always handle pasta. But still an ok place to order from when you're coming off a long day at work and don't feel like cooking. Update after receiving order or part of it: I originally had given 5 stars, but I only took 3 away, not for food but for customer service even though they forgot part of the order and hubby had to waste time and gas driving back to get what was missing. The mgr made it right but at the same time, calling 3 times ... slammed on hold upon pick up & forgotten about for 4 mins on 1st try, 2nd try finally get mgr & nonchalant when I mention I was holding for 4 mins just to tell them I need the dinner I paid for & she hangs up by mistake or on purpose, either way its irritating, 3rd time she answers the phone as though I was the one that hung up, a part of the meal was a little too cooked...cajun style but that was overlooked until the attempts to get the rest of my order. This restaurant is incredible and a must visit! This Greek Italian pizzeria was absolutely adorable with the murals and iconic pizzeria booths. From the Greek salad with the addicting dressing to the Gyro stuffed to the brim with meat. My friends and I came for dinner after a long day to chow down and chow down we did! ABC Pizza I have been going to this restaurant for 24 years and it was always a great choice just up until recently and in the past year I have had two orders that were terrible, the owner dealt with and fixed the first order this happened with but not this time. I usually order the steak grinders and white pizza with Greek salad and this is the second time I have received the grinders with barely anything on them when usually they are full of steak, cheese and toppings I called the restaurant to let them know I wasn't happy but I was told that they measure the amount of meat for each grinder and that's how they do it, that being said this is not anywhere near the amount they usually put on this sandwich and I've pitched many of them over the years, and the fact that the owner here didn't care really just took the cake for me, I won't be going back anymore after this and how the owner treated the issue. I told them I would bring the grinders back and let them see them or send them pictures either one but they still gave me the same response so they can keep their $11.99 grinders. I took pictures which I'll be adding to this review to show how they looked. I am really upset about this and just the way they responded to the issue only made it worse. read more

Went here on a whim for lunch because we wanted something different and hadn't been to an ABC in a very long time. Should've opted for something different because our stomachs paid for it later in the day. Restaurant wasn't very crowded which should've been a warning signal....but because it was a holiday we figured that may be the reason. They have a weekday lunch special of a pizza and salad bar for $5.99 as well as shells or spaghetti for $5.99. My daughter opted for the pizza bar -- pizza was cold, didn't have pepperoni, the chicken wings were cold and hard, garlic bread was cold....I think you get the feel of what I'm saying. Took quite a while but they finally brought out fresh cheese and pepperoni pizza so my daughter ran up and that was much better. My husband and I opted for the spaghetti and shells options. They were ok....very cheesy on the top and some of the shells were hard and crunchy and lacked flavor. The water definitely tasted like it was from the faucet and not filtered or bottled. Restaurant decor was old and outdated. Took half of my shells to go and ended up throwing away later that night since my stomach hurt so bad from eating here. We won't be returning here. read more
