They have mostly outdoor but indoor too. But also plants that can be either or. Their hibiscus is amazing and just grew back again. Their mystery succulents I have flowered. Their service is full of love and their really sweet. read more

Stopped by to ask about rose bushes. The owner was rude; didn't look up at me and when she finally did she don't even smile. She just answered the question. I don't plan on giving them my money at all and live near there. read more

Narciso was very helpful! He helped me choose the best plants for my yard and also explained to me who they would grow and how to care for them. He was very good in helping us combine the types of plants we bought and also gave us an idea of how many plants we would need for the space we were covering. He was very friendly and humble. i dint feel like they were just trying to make money. they really care about the customers. We went in on Saturday for big plants and returned Sunday to buy succulents and we received the exact same exceptional customer service. They have the best prices, as i went around to other nurseries in the area. its a must go to for your plant needs. read more

Super friendly service and a decent selection of outdoor plants at decent pricing. I took a trip down to the South Bay with my brother in law and picked up seven 15 gallon Silver Sheen trees. They helped me load it all up and secure it for the trek back to Huntington Beach and I was on my way back in no time. Nice! read more

Absolutely impossible to reach them. Called numerous times, left voicemails and none of which have been returned. Purchased a plant and arranged to have it picked up. The sales person (assuming it was a family member) knew that we were having someone pick up the item for us as it was too big for our car. It was communicated and understood. They have a copy of the receipt on file but refuse to look it up. Paid $50 for my little tree and currently empty handed. If you purchase here make sure to leave with your items or you may end up paying for nothing. Will make another attempt to pick up my item on Monday if that is successful I may consider updating my review. Update (8/22) only after having driven here to have them look up my purchase and re-coordinate a pick up did they release my tree to my driver. They were apologetic for the miscommunication and made sure they're guys were aware of the purchase / pickup. read more

I have bought a bunch of plants from my boy, Joaquin, at Abeja. I keep coming back here for a few reasons. They have an excellent selection, great variety, and their prices are hard to beat. Joaquin helps me every time I visit, and he always helps me pick out the healthiest plants he has, and he schools me on how to best care for them. Customer service here is the best when you're working with Joaquin. Keep in mind that they have a small staff, and you literally have to find someone if you want help, but they always oblige. I only work with Joaquin because he's been helping me since I started coming here. He doesn't speak English, but he is so helpful and kind. I am always looking for drought-tolerant plants, and he always remembers me when I come in. The nursery is located next to another nursery, but the prices here are better. I shopped around quite a bit before finding Abeja, and I will not go anywhere else. It's a family-owned business, and they have a sweet dog that's always hanging around, sunbathing. The pup's name is Nene, and he chills there with all the chickens who also live at the nursery. The owner of the place is always around, and he mostly oversees the operations, so make sure you find Joaquin if you need help. I will always come here for my plants. They've served me well thus far, and I love working with Joaquin. read more

I happened to run into this nursery today, after a really bad experience at a nearby nursery. I was when searching for last minute tropical plants for a photo shoot. The owner's son Carlos was more than helpful, he walked me through the whole nursery and helped me pick the plants and flowers I needed, he was very knowledgable but mostly, had a great attitude. I left Abeja nursery feeling satisfied, happy to be able to find my purchases and would highly recommend this place. read more

Just the place my dad and I needed. We visited several nurseries in the area and only found high prices and unhealthy plants for the most part. This nursery had a wide selection of healthy plants at very reasonable prices, and friendly and helpful customer service. We found plants that were 2-3 times the size other places had to offer for a cheaper price. Highly recommend this nursery for any in the South Bay Area. This is a great little nursery. I was looking for some new flowers to plant in the Eastern corner of my garden that gets too much sun for the flowers I had originally planted. The woman there was very nice and helpful. There was a great variety and the prices were the best I've seen in the area. This place is fantastic. Huge selection of trees, shrubs, flowers, succulents, etc. they basically have everything you could want. The staff are very knowledgeable and actually want to help you find what you want. Will also help you choose the best plants. I went here with a photo, not knowing the name of the hedge plant that I wanted. The owner was able to identify the plant from the photo (which was taken from across a street!) and pointed me in the right direction. The particulars of the plant were explained to me, and my car was happily loaded up with my purchases. I was very happy with their service, and how friendly and helpful they were. The prices were excellent, and I felt the plants were larger, and healthier than what I've found at other nurseries/garden stores. I've even recommended them to my gardener. read more

Great Service.I was looking for a specific plant by the name of Podocarpus, and i was finding it hard to find the plant anywhere within the torrance area but i saw them online and i called and visited Abeja Nursery, in which they assisted me with finding the Podocarpus Plants and they provided great service they loaded the plants and offered advice on how to maintain the plants.They have very nice plants at good prices. i reccommend this nursery to anyone looking for good service and a place where you can keep coming back to. read more

These guys are great. And honest. They have lots of 15 gallon crape myrtles, bamboo, palms, and even the hard to find tabubuia trees in 15 gallon. And it's a not such a big nursery that you are overwhelmed. I was able to get out of my car and just walk through the whole nursery at a comfortable stroll without having to take a train or bus back to my car. And they have something I wish all nurseries had....plant identification signs! With information on the plant such as name, genus family, sun/shade preference, drought tolerance, soil preference, watering needs, etc. All that was missing was the price. And the OPALS rating (allergy scale, google it). But the workers were friendly and helpful and actually knew the prices unlike some nurseries, they actually said hello to me first. So you feel welcomed. And to to it all off, they're open Sundays! Not too many nurseries open on Sundays, but this one is. And they have chickens and a rooster hanging out by the office. Something the kids will get a kick out of. So to all of my fellow gardening enthusiasts, go check them out! read more

My new, fabulous find! I luckily found this nursery by happenstance, and feel so grateful that I did! After tiring of the overpriced nurseries on the Westside where I live and when visiting family in Torrance, I'm always happy to swing by here! I love looking for what I have in mind and each time have returned home with the perfect plants and vines. The vast variety of healthy plants are well taken care of and it's always a plus, in my book, to patron a wonderful family business. The owner's warm and friendly son, Carlos, and his equally very lovely wife, Annie, are such wonderful people and the always helpful Joaquin with his infectious smile is quick and more than ready to offer a helping hand. All of them are impressively knowledgable about horticulture, which has been very helpful in determining my final choices. What a gem of a place to find some treasures at very reasonable prices! read more
