I ordered the Haley Hash. It had a lot of flavor and was pretty spicy for me! The biscuit was definitely the star of the show, though. It was delicious, fluffy, &easily my favorite part of the meal! I also tried the banana bread matcha. It was good! It tasted exactly like banana bread &honestly didn't taste much like matcha, but it was still tasty. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and the experience. I'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu & more of those delicious biscuits!

Abels has good food ,I have been going there for years,recently my daughter got hired by Abel himself,he hired her knowing she has seizures,well she had a seizure in his office out of view of the general public,she is ok,but devastated,because she went to pick up her check and he fired her,he told her she was a liability and would have to let her go. Well my question to Abel is ,why would you hire her if you feel this way? You know I'm a Christian man and I know my Lord and savior Jesus Christ took care of people like my daughter,and his teachings to the world are to let everyone have a chance to be the best they can be with what we are given in life. So Abel you might check in with the Lord and ask him did I do the right thing,knowing this young ladies character and how much she was loved by your regular customers,I'm sure if your customers knew how you let her go they might feel like I do let down by a restaurant that my family has been going to for years. read more

This place allows its customers to bring their pet dogs and sit ON the table! That's right, the same table you eat at! I say they allow this because the response to my wife complaining about it was "yeah we've told Abel many times and he doesn't address it".The response was basically the same when I asked the ladies at the counter if that wasn't a health violation. If you eat here you better be ok with this and I recommend wiping down your table before eating. As far as everything else, it's the poor man's Luby's meets the trailer park. This was my first visit to Abel's. Stopped in on the way to a marching band competition with a bunch of other parents. There were 12 of us. Food came out quickly and everyone's order was right.
