Absolute garbage service. Had squeaky breaks so I took it in. They turned the front rotors, charged me and did nothing. Brought it back, they turned the back rotors, charged me again and it did nothing. Brought it back again and they found a piece of metal debris stuck to my break pad. Told them to put new break pads, charged me again. Finally no squeaky breaks but now my steering wheel wobbles when I apply the breaks which means the rotors are warped. Fucking idiots. Need to take it back again but I refuse to bring any of my vehicles there again. I'd rather pay anyone else. Do not take your vehicle there. Fuck this place read more

Went in for flat repair. They removed the tire from the wheel to point out a brad nail that was in just the perfect position to not be able to repair. The other huge nail dead center would have been an easy repair. But the brad nail was still sticking out from the outside. You didn't need to remove the tire to see it. So, easy to tell the customer, hey- we might not be able to repair because of this. But no, they took the tire off of the wheel to make sure that I would buy a replacement. I told them to put the tire on and 20 minutes later, they still hadn't put it back on. The price for the replacement was more than the local car dealer. That should tell you something. The tire was also not available, so I had to wait a day. Before you get a flat repair, check the location to see if they have the tire and get a quote. Learned the very hard way. This place left a very bad taste. Never go for anything again. read more

To replace the left turn signal bulb on my 2004 CTS Cadillac. Labor cost was 200.00 .03 they charge 60.00 part cost, 2.70 labor non-taxable light bulb tax .25 total cost 62.95. A couple of months went by I don't drive this vehicle much; the same thing happened. I was told that was the original turn that was in there in the first place. so did nothing but gave it a knock when I complained about the charge and asked Bob who the owner was. He told me he died. he was the best. Stay clear of these people total cost was 28. dollars. They cut the connection to replace the bulb. I do not trust them. obviously read more

Last week we called Able Tire & Brake to diagnose a wheel/brake issue on our 31 foot MOTORHOME. Talked to Arnie. He was told it was an E450 Ford chassis, what the symptons were what I felt needed to happen (be able to lift MH off ground to spin both back wheels at the same time.) He said we can help you, come in Monday for us to look at it. So now today is Monday and after driving thru town and school traffic, we get to Able and I ask one of the employees to come out with me to explain what I need. I ask the persons name and it's Arnie. I said great you are the person I talked to on Friday. He says, "no, you didnt talk to me." When he sees the motorhome, he says "We don't work on motorhomes. I asked him why he told me come in then? We can rotate your tires he tells me. I ask what that has to do with my issue of a squeal when the wheels turn (and the tires are brand new with 500 miles on them). The conversation went downhill from there. A complete waste of time. We will never go to Able again and strongly recommend others do the same. Maybe Able would like to reimburse me for my time and gas, just a suggestion. Or maybe have Arnie pay more attention to what people are saying over the phone rather than say "come on down, we can help you. read more

Stopped in for a tire rotation. I didn't have an appointment and that wasn't a problem. In and out within an hour, and they even found a nail in one of the tires and fixed it! Walter was great and didn't try to sell me on getting new tires right away, alignment etc which I have had happen at other tires shops more than once. We got a flat tire 4 hours away from home and they said our tread was too low to fix. Brand new crosstrek with 15000 miles. He quoted us for 2 new tires for $400. We asked to see the tire and a different guy showed it to us and things didn't line up with what the first guy told us and he even tried selling us all 4 tires instead for $900. Worked with Brian today, and he was able to get me in and out within a reasonable fashion. I went in to have my tire pressure sensors re-calibrated since the tire pressure sensors I bought with my new tires were not reading. Though it is a minor thing, I honestly don't like to have any lights on my dash especially for tire pressure warning. The tire pressure light was flashing because one of the sensors was not reading. After my vehicle was finished, I took a second look at our vehicle, and it had tire dressing on it. Made it look new again! Multiple times now, Able Tire has really come through for me when I needed my tires checked out. Once in the early days of the quarantine when I came out in the morning and found my tire flat, I thought I'd have to get it towed but Able sent someone out to change it on site, which saved me a lot of money. My daughter ripped her tire and being it was a newish car originally took to novato Toyota who very predatorily told her not only she needed 2 new tires but told her it would be 500 dollars. This car is less than 6 months old. So after work we drove together to able tire 40 mins before they close, expecting to have to come back. Not only did they have a replacement tire but it was 159.00 and they confirmed we only needed one tire. Honesty goes along way. They have a customer for life when it comes to tires. My friend took his Honda civic to them on early AM hours because it was making very loud noise on the bottom. Upon running the full inspections they removed the damaged part and inspected for other damages free of charge. my friend had two hours of drive ahead of him and wanted to make sure that nothing was wrong with car. Other tire companies told me I would need to buy at least 2 new tires to replace the one with a slow leak ($550). Now I can keep using this for what should be another 30,000 miles. We have had 3 instances with this company. The first time to get all new tires and this experience was positive. Because we had a positive experience, when we needed a new tire for the same car we returned. At that appointment we were told that there was an issue with a major part of the care and that we should take care of. Naturally, because we had confidence and good experiences up to this point, we took the car back after several month to have it looked at for the repair of the major part. This is when things went south. At this point we dealt exclusivity with the service manager. He is a nice enough guy and communicating with his was a nightmare. He was not clear in his explanations about the issues, spoke quickly, used scare tactics, and was over all unpleasant. Additionally, he would not communicate updates, we had to call to rest information. This third time that Able dealt with our car it took 2 back and forts to finally get the issue resolved. We drove it home after the the car was "fixed" and after not even 48 hours the car had problems again and was unsafe to drive. When we explained what happened, the service manger accused us of damaging the car and never once considered that the part or the repair could have been the issue. Eventually, the car was repaired after we were falsely accused. The poor communication continued. So much so that when I called to ask about the car, one employee told me the car was fixed and then I received a call that afternoon saying that it was not fixed. After spending over a $1000 for an unexpected expense the last thing you want to deal with is poor communication and being made to feel like an issue is of your wrong doing. There are so many other options..don't waste your time with these unacceptable issues. At this point I do not have any more confidence in this company, the parts, or the work, however the only saving grace is that we have a year warranty. read more
