Yum yum yum delicious açaí! I came after a short hike at Eaton Canyon and parked in the lot in the back. I ordered the nutter butter açaí and my friend ordered the nutella açaí with a cold brew. They made our bowls on the spot and service was extremely fast and friendly. Bowls are priced at about $9 each and cold brew is about $3-4. There's indoor and outdoor seating (but not much!) My açaí bowl was absolutely delicious and refreshing and definitely hit the spot on a warm day! They add a generous amount of nut butter and their granola is light and crispy. The bowl also comes with bee pollen and hemp seeds. Lovely little açaí shop in pasadena. Highly recommend everyone to come try it out if they're in the area! read more

Check in on Yelp for a free additional topping! Came here with 2 friends on a Thursday evening and they were gracious in taking our orders even though it was 30 minutes before closing. We all opted for the nature (6 oz) bowl and it ended up being a solid amount of acai and toppings! I haven't purchased an acai bowl in a while, so I don't have a great reference point, but I enjoyed the taste and consistency of the acai (not overly sweet but still flavorful). For toppings, I got granola, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and Nutella (free topping w/ Yelp check in) and they gave a generous amount. Just a note: they don't have unlimited toppings and certain toppings cost extra, so just be mindful of that when ordering! I don't go out for acai bowls often, but if you're craving a nice refreshing bite to eat and don't mind a limited number of toppings, I'd give acai bar a shot! read more

It was super tasty! I got the regular size with Acai base that comes with overnight oats, coconut shreds, banana, Nutella and almond butter for an extra dollar all together was $12, not including the tip! It's pretty pricey but soooo delicious it was really fulfilling, I couldn't finish it! read more

Holy acai deliciousness!! How have we not gone here sooner?? 2nd time here in a week and I'm sure that'll keep up. Their portions are decent, their acai is thick and tasty. I got a medium with granola, bananas and gojiberries. I love that they have the smaller size that's perfect for the kids...one scoop and one topping...perfect! Today was my first... and LAST time ordering from Acai Bar! I ordered two bowls: one 8oz and one 12oz. When I received the bowls, I was very disappointed to see that they were only half filled, mostly with my toppings instead of the acai. These bowls are not worth for what you pay for! I called the store to inform them and was told the bowls are weighed by the ounces. It is very misleading and false advertisement as the acai bowl does not fill the container. I should have just stuck with my usual Roots & Rye or Blue Bowl! Lesson learned! read more

The açaí bowl itself was so good and refreshing but there was such a huge heaping of Nutella that towards the end my teeth started hurting due to how sweet it was, wish it was more balanced then getting sugar rush at the end. Just a tad bit disappointed since it's not cheap. read more

Generous portions, great service ... Portions, 5 stars // taste, 4 stars - generous portions. Acai had a ice cream like texture but too sweet for my liking. I prefer my Acai with a bit of tartness. For comparison, their Acai bowls taste very similar to Acai Jungle in Burbank. Difference is Acai bar serves theirs with blackberry vs Acai jungle serves theirs with mango n bananas. Great bowls and super creamy Açai. It's a great spot to curb your Açai craving. The owner Peter was very nice and really puts care into your bowls. The fruit mix is a mix of (mango, strawberry& blueberry ) which I recommend. I knocked this 1 star for the up charge on granola and fruit. I personally don't get granola , but when you add granola ($1.50), fruit (1$) and almond butter($2). you are looking at a few upcharges. None the less the bowls are great and who doesn't love supporting the locals of pasadena. Recommending the creamy Açai forsure! read more

I'm so excited that an Açaí place has opened up so close to my house! I went in hopeful that it would taste good but had low standards because it's difficult finding authentic tasting açaí that isn't loaded with sugar. Açaí Bar surpassed my expectations! There are four different sizes to choose from and my friend and I decided to get a medium bowl that was more than enough to share between us. We chose mixed fruit, goji berries, almonds and Nutella as out toppings. All the flavors mixed so well together. The açaí itself is rich with flavor and has a thick texture like Greek yogurt. It is definitely a filling choice for breakfast or lunch as well. It's located right next to a busy Millie's. There is free street parking and also a lot located behind the shops. Service was friendly and the employees made sure to greet each patron as they arrived and also asked us how everything was as we were leaving. Bonus star for being clean, neat, and instagrammable! The place is small though so on a busy morning, you may have to take your bowls to-go! I'll be back again next time to try a smoothie. read more

Great place for acai bowls! Their base seems to be the most flavorful and substantial of the acai places I've tried thus far. They don't skimp on the portions, and the quality is fantastic. The owner, Peter, is a really friendly dude and the staff are super friendly. One of them even brought my food out to me when I stepped out to take a phone call. They totally didn't have to do that, but they were very accommodating and customer-service oriented. Additionally, their protein shakes are a sleeper - they are definitely the tastiest and most filling that I've had. Overall, this is my go-to place if I'm looking for a cool treat or for a filling shake/meal replacement. read more

As an avid açaí bowl lover, I tried every other açaí place multiple times around Pasadena. They are by far the best of the best. I can easily say I'm obsessed! Their ingredients are super fresh. 2 stars because the açaí bowl was really good. Truly. Price was comparable to other places and you can sit outside and enjoy the view. The service though is absolutely SHIT. It's so so bad, I made a mental note to NEVER come back. The two women working did not look up or acknowledge me when I came in but continued their conversation. When I tried to order, the cashier was impatient and talked to me rudely when I had questions. It was my 1st time and I haven't had an açaí bowl in a long time but damn, must be for fancy people the way she was acting. i thought this place was mid, they ran out of ube and magik pretty quick i came at around 12 pm. it was also more expensive and for less than other açaí places ive been to. i noticed for others when they ordered a large bowl it wasn't filled up all the way and i feel like usually it should be or close. tho, the employees working were sweet! the store itself is cramped, only fitting around 5 people inside. read more

My favorite bowl has blueberries, bee pollen, hemp seeds, and almond butter. It's my absolute favorite. The prices are not too shabby either. My favorite acai store!! Big portions, delicious acai, fruit, and granola. I'll usually get a build your own or the berry me bowl in the medium size and it's more than enough for a filling breakfast. I've heard their baked goods are devious, though I've yet to try them. The store is cute, the service is relatively quick, and the workers are sometimes nice. Overall, experience 3/5 but 5/5 for the açaí bowls. read more

My wife and I just came by the place after reading all the good reviews on here. We were not disappointed. The acai Bowls are filling and delicious, not overly sweet, a perfect guilt-free dinner for both of us. It was my first time walking in, I had always wanted to try it. Today was my first day, the guy and the girl working greeted me when I walked in and were wonderful. They made me feel welcomed and answered all the questions about the menu, they were patient and super nice. I ordered the Energy butter me up (with strawberries) IT WAS AMAZING! We ordered two Berry Me Acai Bowls. I like to add Bananas to my Berry Me bowl it adds an extra boost. These are very delicious Acai bowls some of the best in Pasadena. If you check in on yelp you can get a free topping. I also like to order a Vitality make your own bowl. I recommend adding fruit to it as they have great fresh fruit. The bananas are always ripe and sweet, which are hard to find at some of the Acai bowl places. I am not a fan of Goni Berries but my father and mother do like it. If you want a great and affordable Acai joint right here in beautiful Pasadena this is a must try. As for COVID, you order at the door and the workers use masks and gloves at all times. It is really clean and makes you feel very comfortable as to the process. Will continue to come here and support this amazing Acai bar. read more

The churro had a mild to medium flavor but the bee kind was very faint. On top of that, the espresso itself was on the lighter side. Both drinks were consumed as soon as we got to the car but tasted very watered down. After mixing the drinks thoroughly, you couldn't really distinguish the flavors completely. The person working offered a complimentary sea salt chocolate chip cookie that was delicious. Drinks were meh but the service was good. The interior is really cute with the various plants, merchandise, and seating areas great for photo ops. Another plus is that there's a private parking lot designated for customers but it's very small and easy to miss. Go out and support small businesses! We won't be back but hopefully you enjoy it more than we did.
