Here's the thing. Foods good and the prices are cheap EXCEPT beer. I was charged 8$ per and I should've asked before I ordered. I swear it was 6$ per when I was there two weeks prior, and the thing is they're no listed prices. I got two beers and a burrito for about $24 last time so that's close to 6$ per beer. menu says all prices subject to change so, understandable. I feel like I got ripped cause I came alone but maybe that's just the new price. I can't imagine other people are paying that

This place is a gem. So unassuming from the outside, this place is a secret that I wish I had known about earlier. Extremely affordable with a massive menu and even bigger portions. The torta and the burrito were both spectacular and after tax/tip less than Chipotle for a sit down meal. Everything looked great and I will be returning soon! Service also phenomenal w really nice people and the food came out in only a few minutes.

had such a great experience with both Isabel and avela! great service and such kind ladies!

I wanted to like this place more than I did, since I had heard really great things. Came here with a couple friends and ordered takeout. Started off with some carrot jugo and papaya shake and they were both very good and reasonably priced (4.5/5). We then got the Mexican omelette (3.5/5) and shrimps in spicy sauce (3.6/5). The Mexican omelette was pretty average, and the shrimps platter came with 6-7 big shrimps and the rest was beans/rice/salad. The portions were quite large though. I would be down to come back to try the huaraches or tortas to see if it's any better.

Chicken tacos. Amazing and only $6.50!

Amazing eats for dirt cheap? Yes, please! Acapulco is your typical local hole-in-the-wall joint with food so good you don't care about the scenery. I came here 3+ times on my four day business trip because my colleague and I couldn't get enough of the amazing tacos here. I had the chicken, then the steak, and then the chicken again, because it was delicious enough to repeat the same meal three times in a row. Tacos were authentic (I.e. - corn tortillas instead of flour), super filling, and super affordable - I was amazed that I only spent $6.50 for a made-to-order lunch in Greenpoint. Definitely a recommended stop to get real Mexican food - they have an extensive menu, and although I didn't try much besides the tacos, I'm sure if the rest of the menu tastes anything like them, you won't be disappointed!

This place is always a treat. Friendly staff and a good selection of dishes. I'm very glad they've survived this pandemic and have reopened!! The prices online are old so make sure you look at the newer pictures I've posted. I'll post more now that they are up and running again so things are current. If you have a chance to stop in do.... always a good positive atmosphere and food. What more can you ask!?

Everything was absolutely delicious! We ordered for pick-up and it was ready in about 15 minutes. Walking in, we just knew it was gonna be great! We ordered: Shrimp Burrito, Shrimp Fajita (comes with guacamole and tortillas), Chips and Guacamole, and House Salad. While waiting to process the payment, we caught a few minutes of a show playing on Univision. The food smelled so amazing and very flavorful. The burrito had broccoli and carrots which was unexpected but delicious. We ordered a bit too much for two people but I look forward to the leftovers for lunch tomorrow. I highly recommend Acapulco! Note: The guacamole was surprisingly spicy but so good!

Excellent Mexican restaurant with large portions and affordable prices. I don't know if they offer margaritas, I only saw cooler drinks including several varieties of Mexican beer. We split a side of guacamole with chips among 3 of us and each ordered an entree. We got so much of everything that we took some of the guac home, and each took half of our entrees home too! I ordered the chorizo huarache which was delicious and a huge portion too. Highly recommend for a filling, delicious, and affordable meal!

It's hard to find legit Mexican food. I'm lucky I'm in Bushwick and there's a couple good spots. But a friend told me about Acapulco and I knew I had to try it. The place looks like a deli from the outside corner spot. The set up is like an old school diner, there's a counter and a couple tables and chairs. There are certain time the counter is the best and it's diners, cocktail spots, dive bars and this little spot. There's a couple seats and one had my name on it. I sat next to a definite regular who was chowing down on his meat salad, all elbows! I had to watch out. The menu was huge. The burritos looked more huge. I didn't want a big burrito belly but didn't see veggie tacos. The waitress was super accommodating and did a rice and bean combo with avocado for veggie tacos. Perfect! My dish arrived with double tortilla tacos that were stuffed and a side of spicy salsa and some chopped up lettuce and tomatoes. It tasted just like my mom's beans and rice. It was super filing and just wanted I wanted for the price of $7. Also I only trust Mexican restaurants if they have a Virgen de Guadalupe statue which Acapulco does. Check! Great place to keep in mind if attending shows at St.Vitus! Or if you spent all your money drinking cocktails at Milk & Roses but still need to eat....ahem...

Best Mexican in NYC. Been going there for 20 years. Unpretentious, fresh food that's exactly what Mexican cuisine is all about.

So so chewy your jaw will have to get to work; i can see how some ppl wouldn't like it bc it's too chewy and dense but i loved it rating: 4/5 - if i take into consideration of the whole menu, this would probably be 3/5 but since i always just get the scallion pancake and pastries, and they have consistently been delectable, it's a solid 4! - i just love the texture and flavor a lot especially the xia - the ambiance is super hippie and chill; it's a perfect spot for breakfast and quick bites; they also got this bar section with a tv playing old school films giving retro vibes - their pastries were all delicious with some unique selection - service has consistently been amazing; workers there were all happy and chill vibes - definitely give it a try but start from the xia and pastries for sure IG: @nom.noms.only
