Ugh. I forgot to get the gentleman's name who helped me out. So I first messaged this business because I wanted a free quote on how much it'll take to repair an iPhone 7 screen for my boyfriend. He told me it was going to be $90 because the screen wasn't functioning at all. Which is very reasonable seeing how 3 different malls I went to wanted to charge me between $115 and $140!!! Awesome service, cool guy. My wife's phone was taken here for a screen replacement last weekend. We were going to make an appointment but noticed nothing was available until the evening. So we took a chance and went later in the afternoon. Luckily he was available right away. He gave us 2 screen choices and was honest about both. Being that the OEM screen transmitted the colors as it left the factory, we opted for this screen. He advised us that it would take about 30mins or so. Luckily he is inside a Korean Supermarket so we did a bit of shopping and stocked up on snacks . Sure enough, after 20-25 minutes he was finished. Phone looked brand new and functioned as it should. I replaced the cracked screen on my iPhone by myself and for some reason, and it wouldn't turn on. I triple checked the connectors and cables but it still wouldn't turn on. I've replaced multiple screens by myself with no problem so I was really worried why it wasn't turning on. I was so scared that I had broken my phone's circuit board and would need to spend hundreds of dollars to repair! I found this place and was very satisfied with their service! They didn't try to scam me or tell me that there was severe damage on my phone. He inspected my phone and got it to turn it on! He said that there was likely a cable that wasn't connected all the way. He also told me that the tear in the ribbon cable would probably wear out over time and might need replacement, in which, by that time, I'd probably get a new phone anyways! He didn't charge me for his inspection even after I tried to offer it, so I appreciate his service so much! Super quick response on yelp. Got a quote for battery replacement for my galaxy s10 at $60, and that's what it cost to get the service when I took it in. My phone ended up not working because it had overheated and basically fried itself, and Young was nice enough to refund me for the battery replacement without me asking or anything. I took my iPhone screen to get repaired. The owner initially said the screen would have lifetime warranty, as long as it had no scratches or cracks. Within a week the digitizer had issues and he replaced it but after a few months I started having issues with the touch screen and finally got a white bright line across the whole screen. I called about getting this fixed and he said it was not covered, that I would need to buy a new one. So the lifetime is not really lifetime, I guess and it has not been a year since the repair. I have a Blackberry Keyone, and most cell phone repair shops have not even heard of this phone, none of them have the parts to fix it, and even fewer have worked on this phone. Young had worked on two Keyones before mine, which may not sound like much, but from my research he was the most experienced guy for the job! I brought the part (purchased on eBay) for him to repair the phone, and he said it would take an hour because this particular phone is very difficult to put back together. He called me 30 mins later and I honestly was worried something had gone wrong with the repair.. but he told me he was done! :) It's only been a few days, but honestly if there's any issues with this repair it's the phone's shoddy workmanship, not Young's. The pricing was affordable. My iPhone 6 screen cracked so I decided to get it fixed here. I got mine fixed before at another store and they charged me $60 for a generic screen already, but here they charged $50 for the generic one and $60 for the high quality one. I went with the $60 & got my battery changed for another $30. Young was the person who helped fix my phone and he was super friendly. After my phone was fixed, Young put on the tempered glass on my phone for free! (Keep in mind I didn't mention the yelp check-in to him.). We tried the typical hard reset, and nothing. We were able to hear sound, felt the phone vibrating, but could not get the screen to work. I wanted to know if the dead phone could come back to life, and if it didn't, I needed the screen off the dead phone to replace the other iPhone's cracked screen.
