I wish I could do a number lower than one. I truly try to be measured and not reactive when providing feedback. But they have been to my home a couple of times over the years. Their work is shotty at best. They consistently try to find reasons not to do the work. The interactions are consistently rude and disrespectful. I understood that they are probably in a market where the volume is high and margins are low. But I will cancel my AHS service if this is the only choice. Updating, they finally called me last time and said a tech is on the way to do an inspection. I said you're supposed to be coming to fix my fridge with a helper, to a response of I only do inspections. Rescheduled again for a 6th attempt, today 8am to 12pm. No call, no show. Called the office, get hung up on. Called again, finally reach the girl who answers, and she tells me they are delayed. This guys was sent by American Homeshield to me because my Refrigartor broke and stop cooling right. These guys came and check my fridge and said there was a seal problem at the back and it UN repairable. And recommend the insurance to replace to replace it. AVOID ACCORD APPLIANCES AT ALL COSTS If I could give zero stars, I would. This company is the absolute worst, and it's mind-blowing how they're still in business. Our dishwasher broke on November 1st, and what followed was a nightmare of incompetence, excuses, and delays. The tech came out on November 5th and refused to move the dishwasher, saying he needed "permission" from American Home Shield (AHS) to do it. Logical, right? A dishwasher repairman who can't move a dishwasher. I told him I'd do it myself, but apparently, that wasn't good enough. He also said he needed to order a part, so we waited. And waited. Two weeks passed with no updates. We had to call AHS to get Accord back out on November 19th. Same tech, same nonsense. He shows up and says, "I don't know what I'm doing here. I don't have the part I need." Then why did you bother showing up?! Thanksgiving came and went, and we were still washing dishes by hand. By December 1st, still nothing. Accord Appliances ghosted us, lied to AHS about why they weren't doing their job (claiming we hadn't given them access), and provided three completely contradictory excuses when we finally got someone on the phone. First, it was an "access" issue. Then, the part they needed was "backordered." Then, that same part was apparently "recalled." Spoiler alert: they hadn't even ordered the part until SIX WEEKS after their first visit. Fast forward to the New Year--still no working dishwasher. AHS finally assigned us a new company, and guess what? The problem was a clogged hose. The new tech had it fixed in ten minutes. TEN. MINUTES. No part needed. No moving the dishwasher. No ridiculous excuses. Accord Appliances is the definition of a scam operation. They wasted months of our time, lied repeatedly, and didn't solve a problem that was ridiculously easy to fix. They were assigned through my home warranty company to repair a refrigerator ice maker that was not dispensing ice. The freezer was making ice but it was not dispensing ice. They sent out an inexperienced technician who diagnosed a bad ice bucket. They sent him back out three days later just to show up without any parts to repair the issue. The technician did not know why the sent him back out, just told him to go. They then closed the ticket out stating the issue was cosmetic and the appliance was working as designed. I contacted Accord Appliance and they apologized but said that there was nothing they could do because they could not change the report since it was already submitted. read more

In fact, while the repair tech was very cordial, he rushed me through the assessment and kept trying to get me to sign the paperwork. When I questioned why the paperwork stated that the work had been completed when he had only provided me with a quote, he insisted that it was part of the quote process to get the order moving so parts could be ordered. My homeowner's insurance sent an employee out from Accord, that was extremely rude. He entered my home and did not say a word, not who he was, his name or even hand me a business card. Frankly I was asking myself who am I letting in my home. I asked him to set his big black bag on my towel on my new flooring and he ignored me. So, I asked again and he was irritated. Set it half on the towel and half off. He was a real winner this one. So, I lifted the bag up myself and placed in on the towel. He seems upset by that too. He took a few pictures and then said we need to order a water valve part and someone will call you. And left. 2 days no word from them. So, I called them back and they said we referred you back to the Insurance company. Come to find out this employee submitted a picture of someone else's floor and said I had a leak, which NO, the water was not going into the dishwasher. And also stated my dishwasher was under the wood floor. How does a dishwasher get installed under a wood floor? That's not even common sense. So, he caused my insurance which denied the claim by his lying on the report and submitting a false statement and picture. Not only was he not respectful, but he was also revengeful. Do not use this company. They were dispatched for a washer and drier repair by American Home Shield. The washer was leaking. He replaced a seal. After the repair it began leaking from a newtransmission. They returned, inspected and then said there was a bad trasmission and said they would recommend it be replaced. Then the technician made a false report to AHS that the failures were due to us abusing the appliances. This caused AHS to issue denials of coverage for both appliances. This appears to be a pattern for this company from other reviews. Now AHS is wanting to send a technician from a different company A Plus Appliance who ALSO has negative reviews for sending false abuse reports. read more

Update: I had to use this company again for a separate issue with my over the range microwave and this time. Again, I filed a claim thru First American Home Warranty. The technician was professional and respectful. I am very pleased with the service provided and relieved that I did not need to buy a new microwave. This technician was different than the first (from my original review). I'm bummed I forgot his name, he deserves the credit. He diagnosed the issue (the magnetron) and was able to replace it. He did need to order the part and came back as promised. A month later, my Bosch is heating and working as expected. I had to upgrade my review to 5 stars due to this specific appointment. My freezer stopped working properly. GE contacted Accord Appliance to come out and fix it. There was a language barrier between myself and the worker. He told me I gave him the wrong address and hung up on me. Never came to service my freezer. Accord needed up calling back to schedule another appointment after I had already called and complained. To my surprise, they didn't show up for the second appointment either! They called the next day saying the appointment I scheduled was for the next day but that's not true. They contracted with accord appliance. I explained the error code in the submission. The soonest a technician could come out was 10/10/25. Not happy about that, but that is what we were stuck with since it was a warranty claim. Tech arrived and said it needs a control board and "he wished they had ordered the part since the error code was mentioned". A few days passéd and I called to inquire about the part. I was informed it would arrive 10/20. (Amazon had the part, and I could have had it the next day). No word from the company and my wife called on 10/21. Magically the part "just arrived", but they can't come out to install it until 11/4. One month for a simple dryer repair. Accord sent out a technician to service the appliance who told me he found a single coin in the space between the drum and tub. The technician then filed a report stating he found several coins which were causing the problem with the transmission, yet he never disassembled the washer to look inside. Before leaving he told me he would look inside the washer IF AHS approved the repair. Consequently, AHS denied the claim based on an erroneous and falsified report claiming "multiple coins under the drum blocking the transmission" even though the unit had never fully been inspected. It's like an auto mechanic determining the problem in your car's engine without opening the hood. Caution to anyone considering using Accord Appliances. They currently have a F- rating with the BBB yet AHS continues to use them as a service source. read more

Ok I had no choice but to go with what the warranty company's referral-to Accord to diagnose my clothes washer. It was a virtual appointment and my machine was making loud noises and the tech stated it was a drum issue. I am thinking it was going to a slam dunk. Wrong answer it was denied due to: overload and misuse! Really? I've had the machine for close to 10 yrs and we all know how to do laundry! I feel bad for my landlord, their insurance sent these people, they never reached out to me to schedule an appointment. Instead the tech texted me at 7:30pm at night asking if I was home and he was ten min away. After waiting on my part patiently I called after two weeks of getting the run around and found out my part was never ordered. To make a long and painful story short after a month of not having a washer and spending 1k at the laundromat, not to mentioned all the games that were played by the receptionist, who pretends to be a different person, I finally got my washer fixed. This company was sent out by my home warranty company on 11/1/2023 and the technician verified the mechanical issue with my microwave. The technician said he was not very experienced with microwaves and said he needed to call a senior technician. I was okay with this since he was just sent to diagnose the issue and not do any repairs. He further stated that the repair might be more expensive than replacing the microwave. He said he would submit his report and to check with the home warranty company. On 11/6/2023, I checked the status of my warranty issue, which showed closed. I called the home warranty and customer service said the technician's report stated he was unable to reproduce the issue. This was either a lie or an egregious error by the technician.
