I have had a terrible experience with this company. Started working with them 45 days ago and my washer and dryer still are not operational. Technician has been here 3 times, waiting for him to return again. He assured me yesterday that the machines absolutely were fixed, but come to find out the washer still dosnt finish the spin cycle and my dryer is taking over 80 min to get the cloths damp dry.... Not only did they not arrive, but they should have called me to let me know that they were at the gate and also they said they would call 30 minutes prior to arrival. Adding YET ANOTHER NEGATIVE REVIEW for Accord Appliance in Temecula. They were assigned a washer service visit through American Home Shield. They responded very promptly and set up an appointment the next morning - likely because they have a lot of time on their hands, as they likely never do any REAL REPAIRS based on the Yelp ratings/comments and the BBB complaints/ratings that I wish I had seen before I allowed AHS to send them. The tech took pictures of the suspension system failure in the washer that caused the basket to drop and bounce inside the machine. He also took pictures of the resulting damage to the basket lip. The report they filed with AHS figured the basket damage prominently, apparently, as AHS denied the claim as "physical damage" which is not covered. I requested Accord to resubmit the claim with a clarification as to CAUSE AND EFFECT (similar to other Accord Applicance reviewers on Yelp): PARTS failure leads to physical damage when things are moving - NOT homeowner-caused misuse or damage. They refused twice, saying "did you see the pictures?", and say there is nothing more they can do. (Yes - I saw the pictures, and yes - I can see inside my own washing machine, master of the obvious...) Nothing more they can do, eh? OK, it will be interesting to see if "nothing more they can do" means "I will respond to yet another negative Yelp review from you with a non-responsive/non-helpful reply full of excuses/deflection". I had an awful experience with this appliance repair provider. AHS charged me $100 for him to visit (for which he was several hours late), and he said the issue wasn't covered by insurance and wanted to walk out. When I asked for simple information about the size versus trim of my microwave to help me order a replacement, the repairman flat out told me, 'It's not required of me' to provide that information. He was rude, dismissive, and seemed only interested in charging me and leaving without doing anything. The attitude was terrible, and there was no basic courtesy or effort to assist. My refrigerator stopped working and when I called to schedule an appointment the soonest was over a week out. I agreed and took off work on the following Friday. My scheduled appointment was between 8 AM and 12 PM. At 11:30 AM nobody had called me or showed up so I called them. The first thing they told me was that I did not have an appointment scheduled for that day. I said no that is incorrect. I have an appointment scheduled today between 8 AM and 12 PM. It quite working last week. Again They sent out a technician that took a photograph of the dishwasher and said they would get back in touch with me, they did not. In fact American Shield, who's my insurer, said they fixed it and that a part was missing (Lower filter trap) and that all is okay, It was a blatant lie. I can only echo what all of the other reviews are saying! WE started a repair for our microwave in May and have yet to get it fixed and it is September. They have made 5 trips to our home and each time it is a new part needed? The rep for AHS said just use a microwave in the garage until it get s fixed. The last visit, they actually blew the fuses in our kitchen and still say they need another part. The most important thing to know is that they order parts from EBAY and AMAZON and not the manufacturer so you can only imagine what you are getting. The follow up appointment was scheduled for repair, however, this company decided to send another employee to diagnose the problem that was already diagnosed. Wow!!! Our freezer and refrigerator went out a few days ago and we were referred to Accord Applicances, through our home warranty policy. We were unsure what to expect today after reading the reviews for Accord Appliances. And First American Home Warranty, our home insurance does not have a good reputation either. Well, Jonathan A. showed up, on time, very pleasant and helpful and diagnosed that the compressor relay was bad. He promptly replaced it, gave lots of good information and was on his way. Terrible customer service. I was assigned this company through my home warranty company - American Home Shield. I would NOT recommend this appliance-repair company to anyone. The tech, Sean, walked in, took a photo of my refrigerator, and did not do anything to thoroughly diagnose the loud whirring noise problem. I asked him what the next step is and he said that AHS will be in contact with me. Well the evening of, I get a notification saying that Accord Appliance marked the job 'complete'. How can they diagnose that without even checking out the source of the noise? In fact, the noise is so loud you can hear it from the second floor! Absolutely horrible! My home warranty folks apparently have no idea who horrible these folks are. For the life of me, I don't know why these people are still in business after reading the reviews. I was contacted by then to schedule an appt to fix my built in microwave. I was told the appt would be "Friday". Well, on Friday I called and was told it was the following Friday that I was scheduled for. I told the lady that was unacceptable and that they should have been specific when scheduling my appt. She had an attitude and was snappy. When I asked for her name, she hung up the phone. I called right back, and the phone kept going to a recording. I continuously pressed zero to get a live person. I told the lady that I wanted to speak with a supervisor. After waiting about 15 min a "supervisor" got on the phone and said that there was no way of knowing who I spoke with. Honestly, the supervise sounded like the lady I had previously spoke with. She said it wasn't her and proceeded to "check" to see if there were any sooner appts. Second time out, as I'm present, he calls GE tech support and goes through a error code check. They found error codes relating to other sensors. Don't ever trust this company to service any appliance in your house. Service techs will provide substandard workmanship. On the last service attempt, the first technician came out to determine the cause and required repairs. The agreement was that the washing machine needed major repairs and would have to perform the repairs downstairs and outside so that the company would not be liable for any damages such as water or interferences because of the major work. He also mentioned that he will order the parts. On the second visit, on the idea the parts have arrived and repairs will start, I had the washer ready for repairs in the back foundation as mentioned by the first tech. This time a different person shows up and tells the company that the repairs cannot continue because it is not in a "serviceable" area. He unbeknownst to him the previous recommendations from the first technician. So after the last visit, the company refuses to answer my calls. I should have looked at previous reviews before allowing this company to service my washer. Up to today it is still not repaired. If you hear ever get this company assigned to perform repairs. For some reason, which is beyond me, American Home Shield uses this company for service in the Coachella Valley. They are terrible. My dryer worked fine ... except it did not have any heat, so it could tumble but not dry the clothes. AHS had Accord Appliance come out. The man who did said that it just needed cleaning from built-up lint. This sort of made sense. He also asked me if I would like to pay him $80 personally to do a major cleaning and service. Foolishly I agreed and gave him a check. Well, the next time that I used the dryer ... no heat! So I called Accord Appliance and could never get through. I went on the AHS website and reported it and got a response that Accord Appliance would come out at no additional charge. I could not get through on the phone to Accord Appliance and AHS said that they never received my report and that 32 days had passed, so I had to pay another $100 for a service call. I did because I was able to have them include my dishwasher, which was leaking from the pump. But I demanded another company. They sent Appliance Repair Experts, who diagnosed the problem as the need to replace the dryer igniter and coils. I hate to speculate, but I wonder whether the Accord technician was just looking for a way to make me pay him (not the company) $80 for an unnecessary service. Maybe. read more

I wish I read the terrible reviews here about Accord Appliance. They came out to fix my ice maker. He said it needed a new water valve. The order was placed and when the part arrived we scheduled installation. The first appointment they never showed up or called. I called and only got voicemails with no response. I had a number that the service department texted me on and someone replied finally. I received another appointment time but no explanation of why they missed the first appointment. Once again I waited at home all day and no one showed up. I tried texting again, no response or call back. Accord appliance was the 2nd vendor sent out by American Home Shield to try and diagnose and repair my 4 year old GE profile dishwasher which stopped rotating the arms to completely clean the dishes. So, two techs arrive to diagnose the machine after another tech from a different vendor tried to replace the wash pump, which didn't seem to fix the problem. This guy comes in and does not even uninstall the dishwasher to do a diagnosis. He just ran the dishwasher once and stated that the problem was we needed to use a better quality dish detergent than the Kirkland brand that I have been using for years. He also stated that the hot water heater needed to be adjusted and that should fix the problem. However, a better quality dish detergent will not fix a mechanical malfunction of the arms not correctly rotating! I don't need to know how to repair appliances to figure that out! He submitted his false findings to American Home Shield, which stated that there was nothing mechanically wrong with the dishwasher. AHS denied my claim and I am left with a broken dishwasher. I have filed a formal complaint with The Insurance commissioner for the state of California. My case is being reviewed. Bottom line....do not use this company. They work in the interest of the warranty companies that do not want to honor their contracts with consumers. So pitiful. read more

This company doesn't deserve 1 star! I've never experienced such horrible service. My home warranty company (AHS) American Home Shield contracted Accord Appliance to fix my washing machine. I've been trying to get it fixed since November 26th, 2024. The first scheduled appt. was December 2nd, between 8 am to 12 pm. I tried to get an estimated time for the technician to arrive. They said they couldn't provide that information and said the technician would be there within that time frame. I called again at 1:00 pm and was told the Tech would arrive within 30 minutes. I called at 2:00 pm and was told he was on his way and would arrive in 20 minutes. Around 4:00 pm the Tech calls to say he's on his way. He said his scheduled appt with me was 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm. I explained that I confirmed my appt time of 8 am to 12 pm with the customer service rep Holly and another lady 3 different times. They also said they contacted the Tech. The Tech named Oscar, said no one reached out to him and this happens all the time. He finally arrived after 6:00 pm. He stated I needed a part and he would order it. He said it would take about a week to arrive and to reschedule. He was scheduled to arrive on December 4th, between 8 am to 12 pm. I received a call at 11:30 am from Accord Appliance. The rep told me the Tech had an emergency and would not be arriving. I rescheduled for December 9th, he arrived but couldn't fix my washing machine because he misplaced the part. I've asked for a supervisor 4 different times. Each time Holly said the supervisor Maritza, wasn't available but would call me back. I still haven't heard from Maritza. I contacted AHS to file a complaint. They said they would contact Accord Appliance. And asked me to give them another chance because they had already ordered the part and it would be hard to transfer to another company. I rescheduled another appt with Holly for the Tech to come out on December 13th, between 12 pm to 4 pm. I had my mom wait because I couldn't miss work again. I contacted Holly around 2 pm to confirm that Oscar had the part and was still scheduled to arrive. Holly stated Oscar had the part and would be arriving by 4 pm. At 4:40 pm I contacted Holly to find out why Oscar hadn't arrived. She said he was on his way. Oscar never arrived, and never called. I'm on hold with my warranty company now. We use First American Home Warranty. They subcontracted Accord Appliances to fix our Ice Maker Issues in Indio, CA. This was initially reported in October of 2024. When they initially came out, they determined It needs some replacement parts. It took about 3 weeks to get the parts...so far, seems normal. After waiting for the parts, accord subcontracted local help to replace the part, but after replacing the part, it still was not working. Now we are in January, and Accord has missed two appointments to finish this job, saying nobody was home as they tried to call. In both cases, we were home as my wife and I both work from home. This is getting very frustrating. When calling First American Home Warranty to complain, they appeared to be complicit and didn't do anything to fix it (on two occasions). I do not recommend using either company. Who wants to wait a quarter of a year because the ice maker in your refrigerator stops working? read more
