Worst company ever. Came out once mid-November 2024. Said ordered parts and never returned. They told AHS they had completed work but total lies. After multiple rescheduled appointments by vendor Accord Appliances to return, they were no shows and send you to voicemail or full box with complaints. After 2 months, AHS finally approved a different company to take over work order. New vendor showed up in a day and ordered parts. read more

We use First American Home Warranty. They subcontracted Accord Appliances to fix our Ice Maker Issues in Indio, CA. This was initially reported in October of 2024. When they initially came out, they determined It needs some replacement parts. It took about 3 weeks to get the parts...so far, seems normal. After waiting for the parts, accord subcontracted local help to replace the part, but after replacing the part, it still was not working. Now we are in January, and Accord has missed two appointments to finish this job, saying nobody was home as they tried to call. In both cases, we were home as my wife and I both work from home. This is getting very frustrating. When calling First American Home Warranty to complain, they appeared to be complicit and didn't do anything to fix it (on two occasions). I do not recommend using either company. Who wants to wait a quarter of a year because the ice maker in your refrigerator stops working? read more

Absolutely horrible! My home warranty folks apparently have no idea who horrible these folks are. For the life of me, I don't know why these people are still in business after reading the reviews. I was contacted by then to schedule an appt to fix my built in microwave. I was told the appt would be "Friday". Well, on Friday I called and was told it was the following Friday that I was scheduled for. I told the lady that was unacceptable and that they should have been specific when scheduling my appt. She had an attitude and was snappy. When I asked for her name, she hung up the phone. I called right back, and the phone kept going to a recording. I continuously pressed zero to get a live person. I told the lady that I wanted to speak with a supervisor. After waiting about 15 min a "supervisor" got on the phone and said that there was no way of knowing who I spoke with. Honestly, the supervise sounded like the lady I had previously spoke with. She said it wasn't her and proceeded to "check" to see if there were any sooner appts. Of course there wasn't but at this point I already knew I was going to reach out to my home warranty folks to find someone else. That's exactly what I did. The customer service here sucks. Wish I could do fewer stars. Tech came out, misdiagnosed our fridge issue. Ordered parts, replaced a part that did not fix issue. Second time out, as I'm present, he calls GE tech support and goes through a error code check. They found error codes relating to other sensors. This should be standard operating procedure for all appliance repair people. Now they have the correct parts and won't schedule us for 2 weeks. Will be notifying Ins company and requesting a different company. Shady at best these guys are. read more

Terrible customer service. I was assigned this company through my home warranty company - American Home Shield. I would NOT recommend this appliance-repair company to anyone. The tech, Sean, walked in, took a photo of my refrigerator, and did not do anything to thoroughly diagnose the loud whirring noise problem. I asked him what the next step is and he said that AHS will be in contact with me. Well the evening of, I get a notification saying that Accord Appliance marked the job 'complete'. This couldn't be further from the truth. They didn't do ANYTHING! To make matters worse, Accord Appliance let AHS know that our refrigerator problem is 'minor' and not covered. How can they diagnose that without even checking out the source of the noise? In fact, the noise is so loud you can hear it from the second floor! This component is pulled DIRECTLY from my AHS contract "1. REFRIGERATORS COVERED: All components and parts, except: NOT COVERED: Free standing freezer - Multi-media centers - Wine chillers" ALL COMPONENTS are covered! WHAT THE HECK! Accord sent out a technician for a home warranty dishwasher repair who was young and inexperienced. The technician was nice enough, and I can't blame him for being inexperienced, but why did Accord send him out here without proper training? His first visit took him nearly an hour just to verify the model and broken part. Although the part was readily available locally, and although they got the part in a couple days, they wouldn't schedule the actual repair till 10 days later. The same inexperienced technician spent a couple hours attempting (but was unable) to get the dishwasher out from the cabinets. I asked him if he raised the back leveling legs (which he hadn't as it turned out, and that is what prevented it from coming out), but he had already reconnected everything under the sink and said he was done. (as it turned out later, he had not properly reconnected everything, and we would have had a flood if we had attempted to use the dishwasher) Instead of then sending out someone who knew what they were doing, Accord firmly stated that it was my responsibility to get the dishwasher out of the cabinet, and that they would schedule the repair once I sent them picture proof of the dishwasher exposed - presumably leaving me with the exposed dishwasher blocking up my kitchen for another 10 days. So, I called another appliance repair guy who was able to arrive with the part in hand, pull out the dishwasher effortlessly (with the back leveling legs retracted), and completed the entire job in about an hour. I strongly advise AGAINST using Accord - perhaps they are warranty scam artists as other reviews have alleged. read more

Terrible! Zero stars! They were assigned by my warranty company for my refrigerator. Six weeks we have gone back and forth, they have been here 7 or 8 times watching YouTube videos on how to fix the issue. They ended up closing the ticket with warranty company saying there was no issues found, after they were dispatched to come back again. Awful company, came out to my microwave door that had cracked and the bottom of the frame fell off while I was cooking. They told my insurance company that it was not normal wear and tear and was misuse! my claim was denied. When I called the office the girl told me it needed a new door and they didn't have one... two different stories, she was later very rude when I told her the technician claimed it was misuse. After some googling I find that this is a known problem with whirlpool over the range microwaves Company billed the home warranty company and didn't even respond to me to let me know. I don't think the microwave is safe to use when there is a gaping hole in the bottom of the door! They are rated D and are not accredited with BBB I see one or two five star reviews and I really believe these are friends and relatives of the company I would not even give one star. read more

They give you 6-hour window for appointment and you have to make the necessary accommodations for them however they cancel last minute or they simply don't show up! Don't ever trust this company to service any appliance in your house. Service techs will provide substandard workmanship. On the last service attempt, the first technician came out to determine the cause and required repairs. The agreement was that the washing machine needed major repairs and would have to perform the repairs downstairs and outside so that the company would not be liable for any damages such as water or interferences because of the major work. He also mentioned that he will order the parts. On the second visit, on the idea the parts have arrived and repairs will start, I had the washer ready for repairs in the back foundation as mentioned by the first tech. This time a different person shows up and tells the company that the repairs cannot continue because it is not in a "serviceable" area. He unbeknownst to him the previous recommendations from the first technician. So after the last visit, the company refuses to answer my calls. I should have looked at previous reviews before allowing this company to service my washer. Up to today it is still not repaired. If you hear ever get this company assigned to perform repairs. You better cancel because they only give you grief and disappointment. read more

For some reason, which is beyond me, American Home Shield uses this company for service in the Coachella Valley. They are terrible. My dryer worked fine ... except it did not have any heat, so it could tumble but not dry the clothes. AHS had Accord Appliance come out. The man who did said that it just needed cleaning from built-up lint. This sort of made sense. He also asked me if I would like to pay him $80 personally to do a major cleaning and service. Foolishly I agreed and gave him a check. Well, the next time that I used the dryer ... no heat! So I called Accord Appliance and could never get through. I went on the AHS website and reported it and got a response that Accord Appliance would come out at no additional charge. I could not get through on the phone to Accord Appliance and AHS said that they never received my report and that 32 days had passed, so I had to pay another $100 for a service call. I did because I was able to have them include my dishwasher, which was leaking from the pump. But I demanded another company. They sent Appliance Repair Experts, who diagnosed the problem as the need to replace the dryer igniter and coils. I hate to speculate, but I wonder whether the Accord technician was just looking for a way to make me pay him (not the company) $80 for an unnecessary service. Maybe. read more

This company is HORRIBLE! They talked to me like I was an idiot, no respect at all. I was told they were going to fix it in one visit but when they showed up, it was only an inspection. We had to take another day off to come and actually fix it, but low and behold...they didn't have the right supplies. They finally got it fixed on the third trip and third day off but left a mess. I wish I read the terrible reviews here about Accord Appliance. They came out to fix my ice maker. He said it needed a new water valve. The order was placed and when the part arrived we scheduled installation. The first appointment they never showed up or called. I called and only got voicemails with no response. I had a number that the service department texted me on and someone replied finally. I received another appointment time but no explanation of why they missed the first appointment. Once again I waited at home all day and no one showed up. I tried texting again, no response or call back. I've had all 5 parts replaced according to the tech already and still not working. 1 Tech had a language barrier spoke not 1 word of English fix nothing. The WORST appliance repair service company I know. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE contact these people. American Home Shield assigned them to repair my dishwasher in Palm Desert. And all they did was continually NOT SHOW UP 3 times in a row. And then lie again and again saying "oh this time we'll be there". 1st visit was fine. They determined that the ice maker was broken and they ordered another part. When that arrived, we set up a new appointment to install the part. And that's where the problem started. They missed THREE separate appointments in a row.. Each time, they never called to say they weren't coming. Nor could their rude dispatcher even explain what happened. No call, no explanation and no apology. Three times in a row they just never showed up. My tenant sat there waiting all day three separate times. For every appointment, I called their dispatcher to insure that this time they'd really be there. Each time this horrible dispatcher said "yes" and that she'd call me back with a more precise time. But each time, she never called back. And they never showed up. When I called her back after each missed appointment, she simply said "I don't know what happened" and offered to reschedule for another day. When I finally got angry after three missed appointments in a row, this terrible dispatcher simply HUNG UP ON ME when I started to complain. And when I called American Home Shield to complain about this rude, unprofessional behavior and continuous "no shows", they tried to set up a conference call to resolve the situation but ACCORD REFUSED. So three weeks later and three separate missed appointments in a row, I've still got a broken refrigerator. With a company that won't even call me back. With no resolution, no apology and no explanation. Rudest, most unprofessional company I've ever met. They set appointments and never show. Hang up if you dare complain. Horrible service!! If I could give no stars ...I would. If you have American Home Shield be warned, Action appliance is the company they will send out to repair your appliances. I submitted my claim to fix my washer on Aug 25 2024 and it is now Sep 21 2024 and it is still not fixed. Accord appliance came out on Aug 30 to diagnose. My washer was not spinning the clothes and then got stuck in what sounded like it was draining and wouldn't stop. (***Note: they come out to diagnose the first day and then schedule to repair on another day... Everytime!!!!! This requires me to take off work because when I ask for late appointments, the receptionist always says that she can schedule 12-6 but most likely they would arrive by 2). Viktor came out and the first impression was he couldn't be bothered. He never called prior to arriving which I was told he would. I answered the door and he told me he was from action appliance never looking up from his phone. I explained the problem and I could tell he didn't understand me until I said there was a code that popped up. He told me he ordered parts. I asked if this would fix the first problem that contributed to the second problem. He told me he didn't understand me and his English wasn't very good. He came back Aug 30 to repair. The draining stopped but washer still didn't spin out clothes. Another request was submitted, I took work off 9/6 and Accord appliance called 30 mins prior to the end of my 9-12 service window telling me they couldn't come out. Frustrating!!!!! Accord appliance came out 9/9 to diagnose..... again. I had requested American home shield to send a different tech since the last one told me he didn't understand me. NOPE ....same gem (Viktor) showed up at my house. I Showed him videos of the problem and he didn't seem to care. He shrugged his shoulders and said he thought it was the clutch and ordered the parts. He came back 9/20, was here for 10 mins and it is still not fixed. I have taken 5 days off of work for my washer and it is still not fixed. DO NOT EVER USE ACCORD APPLIANCE!!!! They were contracted through American Home Shield (AHS) to repair our washing machine. The technician showed up on time, looked at the machine for less than 5 minutes and did not place his hand inside the machine. The tech said he needed to order some parts and would return when they showed up. After a few days and not hearing anything, we reached out to AHS to find out the tech told AHS that the machine was broken due to coins being stuck inside the machine. This led to AHS closing the case purely based on the techs notes. The $100 we spent on the service call was not worth it. It really seems like the guy was trying to tell our insurance company something knowing they wouldn't cover it in hopes of us getting desperate enough to pay them out of pocket. We ultimately got AHS to authorize a second opinion which deemed the repairs eligible, but not worthy due to the age of the machine. Do not do business with this company at all!! read more

Starting in July 2022, the freezer wasn't keeping below 18 degrees. American Home Shield sent out Accord Appliance. He supposedly repaired something. When the freezer was still under-functioning, I opened the claim again October 25, 2022. Since then, they have come out on November, 1 and 15; December 7 and 19; January 4 and 24, inspecting things and changing parts. When he left on the Jan 24th, the refrigerator AND freezer were not cold at all. They came out Feb 2, and no-showed on Feb 16. Then Feb 23 and ordered a part. We have had NO refrigerator or freezer since January 24 and this is February 24. All factual. The service people have been courteous...but I'm not impressed. Worked with this company thru my ahs insurance and they are the WORST! The first time someone came it was two young guys looked younger than 18 & they were telling me nothing was wrong when both my oven and microwave was producing a burning smell. They then told me that they would have to come back out with something to help them remove the oven. I called again to make an appointment & they said they would have their "senior" technician come out who ended up being someone about only 2 years older and just as useless. I had them come out a total of four times for each time my case to be closed. I got so fed up and called ahs to see if they worked with another company and luckily they did and those guys came over the first time and fixed the problem on their first try. This company is a scam and I don't know why ahs works with them. These young boys have no idea what they are doing and just waste everyone's time. read more
