I am writing this with Accord Appliance on the phone. I called and politely offered to have Accord complete a repair that they closed before repairs were done so I didn't have to open another service and pay $100.00. It's been over 10 minutes and the person has not answered me and has not hung up. My first call the phone immediately was forwarded to American Home Shield. So I called from a different number and Accord answered immediately. I guess I'll sit here listening to the person breathing since they won't hang up. It will be interesting when I pay another $100 to AHS if they redispatch Accord Appliance to fix the job that wasn't completed. In all fairness, their technician is great and very responsive. I honestly think he did his part and Accord failed to do their part. Lesson I have learned is to follow up every couple of days. If you don't, they will just close it out. read more

I have American Home Insurance and they sent out an Accord repairman to evaluate my washer that is only 4 years old. He was there for 10 minutes opened the washer door got the serial number googled what IE error was and left. Two days later they denied my claim due to abuse! They still have not completed the job on my dishwasher and were so under qualified to repair anything im having to buy new appliance. This has been dragging on since July. Horrible business that should be shut down. The worst appliance company I have ever dealt with. They came out looked at my dishwasher, determined the pump needed to be replaced. Ordered the part, came back out and disassembled the dishwasher then determined the new part was damaged either in packaging or shipping. Then they decided the air escape / gap was not to specification so now they refuse to complete the job. My dishwasher is taken apart and the parts are laying inside. Don't ever getallow them in your house. They are incompetent and professional. This company is a joke. I have had them come fix my washing machine 3x's and technician Jovanny was very rude, crass, and rushed to get on to his next job. He originally replaced my pump and the pump made a very loud noise with a generic part. I called back for them to fix this and he said that I would have to get used to the noise. I asked him to get the right part and he never did. Then he came back out again for the washing machine and said rear bearings went out and said he would not fix the issue because he would have to take the the washer apart and would not do it. He told our warranty company that we abused our washer. He fabricated this so he would not have to fix it. The company did nothing to help me when I disputed this. Don't ever use them and if they are used under your warranty company ask for a different company to come out. Look at other peoples reviews and see how low they score. The techs came out on 6/8 for our refrigerator. They did not submit a report to the home warranty company. So, a second tech came out on 6/12 and falsified his work report, stating there is nothing wrong with our freezer/ice maker. The freezer isn't working, set to zero f per manufacturer mandates. I couldn't even get Accord Applicance out to my home! They got notice from Assurant, the warranty service, that there was a 9/29/20 appointment but claimed to me they did not. When I called Assurant, Assurant put me on hold and called Accord. Accord told them that they got notice of the appointment (which was booked over a week prior), but they DIDN'T HAVE TIME TODAY and offered me to book another day. How accommodating of them, don't you think?? So, I called Assurant and demanded a different service provider. First let me say that my review for this company didn't get posted. So I must redo my review of this company. Back in July of 2022 Sears hired this company to come and fix my oven and dryer. The technician contacted me and asked for a couple of pictures of my appliances which I sent him. He texted me back and stated that he will be ordering parts and will contact me when they come in to come and do the repairs. Mind you, ohe has not been to my home nor has he physically seen the appliances that need the repairs in my home - so how can he order parts when he doesn't know what is wrong? Here is the kicker - I called Accord appliance after a few days to see when he will be coming to do the repairs and the "lady" (I didn't get her name) stated that the work had been completed and that the technician will not be coming. HUH? He hasn't been to my home. I informed her of this and she (in no uncertain terms) TOLD me that he did the repairs and that he won't be coming back. I let her know that he hasn't been to my home and that I sent him pics of my appliances because he texted me and asked for them. I haven't even see the tech! She became beligerant over the phone letting me know that her technicians don't lie - so she was insincuating that I was. Which made me upset. I even asked her why would I be calling to have him come to my home to fix the same appliances that weren't fixed in the first place? She claimed that she has pictures of my home and that he had been there. I then asked her is this how Sears treats their customers by calling them liars?!? Well, this back and forth went on for a few minutes - before I hung up and called Sears back and reported them. Which was no easy task - Sears home appliance repair is a little difficult to get in contact with. When I finally got to a person with National Service Alliance whom Sears is affiliated with - I informed them of the problem with Accord appliance and they had a district manager contact me. I ultimately, was able to get my appliances fixed with a different company who did an excellent job and the customer service at Appliance Care and Repair was top notch. I even told them of the troubles I had with Accord appliance and they were appalled. I do not know if Sears Home Repair is still using Accord appliance but the need to stop. I have been in customer service all my working years and have never come across a company who calls their potential customers liars. I was unable to speak to a manager at accord appliance because the "lady" stated that I didn't need to. My home warranty company sent a service request to this company on my behalf. They set up an appointment for Tuesday, no-show, no call. Then Thursday, no-show, and no call. And then the Tuesday after Christmas and once again, they did not show up and they did not call. Dealing with them has been such a pain in my rear, I would never refer or recommend this company to anyone when you call them. The woman that answers the phone is so rude and I just really got tired of talking to her because every time I would ask her are you sure they're going to show up are you sure that they're going to call me if they cannot make it she would always just say yes. Also, this company told my home warranty that I was not at home when they came and I have cameras to prove that they never showed up . I'm so happy now because my home warranty company sent me a new contractor they showed up the next day they showed up on time they called ahead of time and they are called A Plus appliance repair. Guy came out, literally spent 2 min looking at my gas dryer, claimed it was so broken that my warranty company would not cover it, but said he would try anyways. Then my warranty company denies coverage on the basis that he claimed I "overloaded" my dryer, which when I asked him, he said that wasn't the problem and that I DONT overload my dryer. Because of him saying that I overloaded my dryer that's why my warranty company didn't cover the repair. They never bothered to call me back or relay this message to me. 3 days later, I tried to get a quote from them about just coming and fixing the dryer independently of my warranty company and they told me they would get a quote together and call me back. It has been four days and they have yet to call me back with a quote. I called a completely different company he was out here the very next day and has come and gone and everything is fine and he charged half the price. I will never go with Accord appliance again. And this is not my first bad experience with them I also had to deal with them at a different house with the same warranty company. read more

Fridge not working, going on week 8. Takes them over a week to come out to diagnose the problem, a week to get the parts, and a week to install the parts. First, they replaced the compressor. That was 3+ weeks. When that didn't work, the tech came out and replaced the main control board, another 3+ weeks. It's still not working. The tech has no idea what to do next. Another company is coming out next week. Our Home Warranty company, First American Home Warranty, isn't any better. They've spent more money paying Accord Appliance than it would have cost to replace the refrigerator. read more

Beware of this appliance company they are contracted with ahs but there technician are very shady and questionable they were sent to service my appliances on 12/5/24 from AHS warranty company first they claimed they came to my home and none was home I have cameras in all the time 24/7 they never came called nothing they had my parts they said on 12/9/24 after a month they of me calling over over both AHS warranty company ands Accord Apliance they finally after a month came and said, they only had one part for my refrigerator and because it was frozen they would have to break off the other part so they need to order the part that way they can replace it when they broke it off. The technician tried pulling it, but I assumed he knew what he was doing. This is the appliance technician they sent. I called A HS to get a follow up on what was going on because when I looked on my account off of the app, it said that my refrigerator icemaker had been completed. I called them and told them it has not been completed. I explained to them what the technician did and that they're waiting on another part they said no the technician said it's damaged so in order to replace that you have to pay $180 I said I've never touched it. It was not damaged. It was just not making ice. It was got frozen up. I said the technician damaged it. I have my recordings for my cameras inside my kitchen. The technician also stated that he was charging them $300 for labor for my stove and my oven. I explained he never did any labor. The only thing he did was look at my oven. My stove is completely fine. One side of the oven is not working. It needs a new knob because that's what controls it. That's all he said, but he didn't fix it because he didn't have the part. He can't get the part so he was going to try to look off another model AHS hires these people and if they are shady and lying as they are, these are people we allow in our homes. This company is very shady. Lies so be careful of this company and letting them in your home. just to update this post I've called numerous times their customer service person that answers the phone is very inexperienced and very rude to their customers. She hangs up or they'll see your number and just hang it up. This company is avoiding taking responsibility for their technicians, please do not let these people in your home. Please do not trust these people with your appliances. Make sure if you go through your warranty that they do not use this company. I've emailed them. 10 WEEKS TO PROVIDE SIMPLE PART REPLACEMENT SERVICE Same story as many other reviews. Stuck with this service provider because of home warranty company. I wish I had known from the beginning how this was going to go. I reported the problem on 14July2020. Was contacted by Accord soon thereafter, but they couldn't "get a technician to my area" until the 30Jul2020. Technician came and was nice enough. Said they'd put the parts on order - lower dishrack and wheel set. I waited 2 weeks and then called. They were very hard to reach on the phone. Finally, got someone and they said parts were on order, but one part wouldn't be in for a couple of weeks. Called again on 26Aug2020, and was promised a call back, but no call back. Called again on 3Sep2020 and was informed that one of the parts would not be in for another couple of weeks. I challenged this and asked why so long for a part that appeared to be readily available at many sources on the internet. They said that AHS (American Home Shield aka American Horror Story) limits the vendors that they can order from. Called again on 16Sep2020 - still no parts, but was told they expected them to arrive any day and expected to be able to fix my dishwasher on 18Sep2020. No word back, so I called again on 21Sep2020. Said the parts had arrived, but they wouldn't have a technician "in my area" until afternoon of 25Sep2020. I asked for options to get them earlier, but against policy to send me the parts (lower dishrack and wheels) directly, they need to bring them. So it is now 25Sep2020 and I have been WAITING 10 WEEKS FOR SIMPLE REPLACEMENT OF PARTS!!!! I assume that it will happen today, but who knows... read more

Worse customer service. I understand that everyone is working remotely and that during this difficult time that as a customer we need to be more patient, however customers having patience isn't the problem here. This company just is unorganized, unprofessional, and sketchy with their billing. Don't even bother asking for a supervisor because the woman who handles their calls refused to transfer me to anyone saying they are all remote and don't talk to customers.... Let me also add they don't return phone calls when messages are left on their voicemail. Home Depot hired them as I had a warranty repair. Home depot gave me an appt date and time. Accord then canceled that appt saying Home Depot can't schedule their appts. Then they made me a new appt and then cancelled that. They finally showed up almost 2 weeks after my original appt. Then they "showed up" but didn't do anything more then what we had already done. My ice maker wasn't working and all they did was turn it off and on and say "this should work but if it doesn't then call us back and we will need to replace the ice maker!" I called them back a week later and was told that I had to call home depot so they could reactivate the claim. I did that. They made me an appt. Accord didn't show, didn't call, did nothing!!!! I left two messages and still didn't get in touch with them. Finally I made contact and was told they would schedule me an appt for yesterday the 8th but would have to reinspect it and then order the parts. I was also told that the original person who came out no longer works for them and fixing freezers wasn't his speciality. Well it's a little late for that!!!! And the best part is... they never showed yesterday. They never called. They reported to home depot that my freezer is fixed. What a joke! If I could rate at zero stars I would. I have an ongoing claim open with my home warranty company and this is the second time the same part is having to be replaced. From word one, they did not follow up to set an appointment and I had to call and wait on hold for 30 plus minutes to even speak to a person. Once I got someone on the line my appointment was set for 10 days out. The part took nearly 2 weeks to come in and then when it did they didn't call and I had to call them? The dishwasher worked for 3 weeks and the same exact part went out again. Same story with their contacts. I had to chase them down for contact and to make an appointment and we waited a week for them to come out. The. They did not order the part despite telling me they did. And it was reordered this past Friday. Sheila, the service rep told me she would monitor it herself and we made an app for today, Wednesday for the repair since she had ordered it rushed due to the months of waiting. Today nobody showed and when I called I was told I had no appointment. They would squeeze me in on Friday. I asked to speak with Sheila and with a manager and the representative refused and said they were all busy. Though she told me she was sorry I was frustrated, there was no ownership of their responsibility and when I asked her when I could expect a manager to follow up she said they would not be calling me and a rep would call when on his way on Friday. I asked repeated for connection or follow up with a manager and was told that wasn't happening and she would do her best. On Saturday March16, 2024, Accord Appliance was to be here between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM to service my stove. At 11:12 AM I called their number and spoke to some girl who sounded depressed and didn't speak clearly. I understood her enough to understand that the technician was still coming and within the 4 hour window. I called again at 12:37 PM as the technician was not here yet. I was put on a brief hold by the same girl I spoke to before and when she came back on the phone she stated she could not reach the technician but would send him a text and call me back. I called again at 1:36 PM as no one called me back, but this time a recording came on stating the normal business hours were 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and if I was calling outside those hours to please hold and leave a message. I think 1:36 PM is between those hours and I had to leave a message. I called back at 1:43 PM and hoped it was a glitch and I would be able to speak to someone- nope. I called American Home Shield and spoke to a representative named Art who took a report and he also called Accord Appliance and left a message at 2:42 PM confirming what I told him about having to leave a message. My words to Art was asking him to pass the message onto whoever decides who they partner with to cut all ties with Accord Appliance. I even looked up Accord Appliance on line and they are not BBB Accredited - where they have not made a commitment to respond to BBB complaints.. Note...I had looked at 40 reviews and only 2 of those were 5 stars, the other 38 were 1 stars. If you have to choose just a 1 star to leave a review, I wonder out of those 38, how many would be 0 stars. I know this one would be a big ZERO. read more

Mis-diagnosed first issue through home warrany assigned job and had to have someone come out for a second opinion. On a second job assigned to them, there was no internal communication between the technician and the office so after I was waiting for parts for a week (per what the technician told me) the office told me they needed to assign a different tech to diagnose the issue and no parts were ordered. Horrible customer service. Had a scheduled diagnoses through Lowe's Warranty plan on a Fridge/Freezer extended warranty. My mini cube ice maker tray has now broken twice. Samsung said warranty expired reach out to my extended warranty plan and did so. Lowe's referred Accord. Tech came out said it's a common problem and it will be denied (which is was by Accord) said make claim again it would be repaired. Accord submitted to Lowe's that I physically damaged the product and will not fix it. I reached out to accord to show prior repairs to product through Samsung and Accord still saying that I damaged my minicube maker physically. read more
