I bought a brand new washer and the drain pump stopped working after 1 month of use. They sent a technician over, after looking at it for 2 minutes the technician told me they needed to replace the drain pump, that I needed to call the my home warranty so they can get me the part. My warranty company informs me that a report needs to be submitted from the technician in order for them to get me the pump. The report they sent to the warranty company stated that it stopped working because I was not doing maintenance on it. I called Accord Appliance customer service and the lady told me that the case was closed and they couldn't do anything about it and hung up the phone. read more

Wow. COMPLETELY DISAGREE with negative reviews on here! My experience was the opposite and FIVE STAR! I, too, had Jorge as my tech! Under warranty with GE, my washing machine's Spin Cycle wouldn't engage. Jorge is super-friendly, positive and gave-off good vibes with a genuine smile! He swiftly "attacked" my washing machine's problem. All the while, EXTREMELY polite/friendly and forthcoming with info as he explained his plan. I shared my experience with him in trying to address online. I almost felt a "partnership"...and this tech from Accord was NOWHERE NEAR being condescending! In fact, blown-away by his POSITIVE, "we can get this done" approach. Also: he was not too proud to just call GE directly for assistance, too. I will use Accord for other needs! I would leave zero stars if I could. Do NOT use this company, especially if assigned with home warranty company. I have been waiting 7 months for a simple repair. They don't show up when scheduled. They finally show up and claim to have ordered parts for the repair. After several months of waiting, I call back and they say parts not in. 6 months later....I called and they said my work order is closed. They took my money and did nothing. Do not use them. NEVER have this company service anything you own. Their deceptive & dishonest practices make them totally unreliable. They were here to service my microwave. They left it apart stating that they had to order a part & would contact me when the part arrived to schedule the installation. Horrible service . First technician came out and could not find the issue so they scheduled 2 Days Later a senior technician . Supposed to come from 8:00 to 12:00 never showed up I called the company and they said he tried to call me at 6:51 in the morning and didn't answer so I lost my appointment . Only to have me reschedule 2 Days Later so now I'm sitting longer without my fridge and it's my fault because I didn't answer the phone nor could I call the technician back because he had a private number . Technician did not follow through with trying to reschedule or make connection with me the customer . ANOTHER HORRIBLE REVIEW for this shitty ass company. First appointment isn't set for like a week and a half later from call date. Then the guy says I can get it out so I'll come back with another guy and they'll call me for an appt. I ended up having to bug them to get me an appt, another 10 days later. They come, they go within 10 mins and don't say anything. I was at work so of course they don't tell my wife anything. I get an email from my warranty company saying it's not covered. I told the guy when he first came we hit the self clean and it overheated. He says yeah that happens all the time. When I call warranty company they tell them there was a fire and that's what broke the electronics. If you take a look inside it's clean and has no charring or burn marks, so how it caught on fire without anyone knowing is a mystery. I'm pretty sure they get paid to deny claim and that's why AHS uses them. Working in tandem to deny claims. read more

Stay as far away from this repair company as possible. My washing machine would not agitate my clothes, so I researched the issue on Google and found that the gear shaft and or agitator is possibly stripped since it freely spins. Oskar was the service tech who came out to service my machine yesterday. I informed him what I found on Google. I asked him about taking the lid off to inspect the gooves and he proceeded to tell me that these machine bolts come loose and just need to be tightened down. He never removed the agitator to inspect the grooves on the shaft or agitator lid. After tightening the bolt and running a rinse cycle the agitator was working. He informed me that the work came with a 90 day warranty. Less then 24hrs later and while doing my second load of laundry I have the same issue again. My washer isn't agitating and is spinning freely. Called Accord and was informed I need to call my home warranty again to file a claim. What happened to the 90 day warranty? It's been less then 24hrs. Wish I would of Yelp this company before my warranty company assigned me to them. Not worth the Headaches and Oskar is completely incompetent. After two missed appointments and numerous unanswered phone calls, emails, and texts, I gave up. This was the company First American Home Warranty assigned to our service request. The only thing Accord did was a video call to diagnosis the problem - no on-site look to see what was really wrong with our dryer. Only after the second no-show did I look up their reviews. Glad I found another company. Oh, and it was a simple fix the Accord tech should have caught on the video. If they had simply shown up when they said they would the first time, the problem would have been solved. read more

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. My washer was leaking. A tech came and sat looking at his phone in my laundry room and then came out and said the drum was cracked and that he would recommend replacement of the machine by my home warranty co. The receipt he gave me was BLANK. I get a call from HW saying the tech told them that the drum was cracked by misuse (me overloading washer...yeah I do not...and how he he assess that anyways?). So I inspected the drum myself, saw nothing but found a tear in the seal. HW sent me a second opinion. A and E appliance came today and replaced the seal and it is now fixed. He though it was ridiculous that the Accord tech didn't see the quite obvious tear in the seal. Plus it was such a jerk move to tell me one thing and then report something else to the home warranty company!!! read more

This company shows up late to their appointments, leaves the work unfinished and then uses the excuses of dallying parts, four weeks has passed with an un repaired item. Home Depot sent out another company to follow up to see why the dryer still wasn't working. This company actual opened it up and saw the belt was off and a pulley was striped. The repairmen said you could see it once you opened it. Thought is was really funny they never even check it. I would never allow this company to touch anything you own or attempt to fix it. Ok so they came out to my house over 3 weeks ago and when moving my refrigerator to look at it, ending up ripping my flooring. 1st they said it was there already, then he said he would glue it???? Really??? As of today I've been waiting for their insurance company to come and take look at the repairs.....please please be careful about this company and this is a direct email from them today 2-25-15 "Hello, Thank you very much for letting me know. ****ZERO STARS**** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY- HUGE WASTE OF TIME!! Terrible customer service, techs do not know how to fix appliances, ZERO COMMUNICATION! Our warranty company set us up with them to fix our washing machine. They came out and said they needed to order multiple new parts including a motor and basket. I called a week later only to find out yes, my parts arrived... why didn't they call? So I scheduled. On the second visit, he still could not fix. On third visit, two techs came, they were banging at the machine and after 3 hours, still could not fix it. They said more parts had to be ordered. A week later I called again and they said the parts arrived 2 days ago- still no call to schedule? They can't even submit their report to the insurance company. Dryer has needed repair since 9/26 and they sent someone out but all he did was clean the dryer didn't fix the issue. Accord Appliance is a horrible and shady company. First American Home Warranty assigned them to come out. They barely spoke english, and I had trouble figuring what time they'd show up (They actually only showed up 1 of the 2 times). They couldn't fix my fridge, so they wrote down the wrong reason for it not working i.e. so the home warranty would deny the claim. Accord Appliance just threw me under the bus. Now I have to elevate this legal issue with First American. Avoid Accord Appliance! Contact the city of Temecula to report them. Scheduled to come out twice. Did not come out, though the second time they said they came to the front door with no one answering. It's was a blatant lie, as both my wife and I have been home all day, with me being in the garage for most of the day. Tried to speak with management in the office with the customer service rep. This company is the worst in service and quality. On my washer they took weeks to fix ONE roller because they had to order the part. Another repairman came with the part, one roller and fixed it the same day. Next they claimed they fixed my dishwasher, but never did. It took TWO people apparently not to fix it, yet tell me they fixed it and gave me a 30 day warranty and a work order receipt. I would not recommend this repair company for anything. I basically had very similar negative experiences as the other reviewers who went through American Home Shield and were assigned Accord Appliance. What I've found is that a service call from Sears repair service is only $60. AHS service call fee is $75 besides the amount you pay them on a monthly basis. I had 2 contracts with AHS and all of their vendors (with the exception of Sears) stink. Roman at Accord Appliance gave me the creeps. It took weeks to get one part and get a dishwasher repaired. Good riddance AHS and Accord Appliance. Just an FYI - Their website says they have over 200 5-star reviews on yelp, google and citysearch. They've only had 8 reviews on citysearch, 5 reviews on google (only 1 was a 5-star) and a total of 30 reviews here on yelp (including filtered ones). 28 of the yelp reviews were only one star. They have 4 reviews on yp (yellow pages) all of which are 1 star. read more

It's been over a month and my refrigerator still hasn't been repaired, despite multiple visits from Accord appliance. One of them came back and tried to put in a compressor that wasn't even for the same make or model . Each time I get pushed out even more . It's all true. You had best believe all of these bad reviews. They really are just that terrible. This company works very hard to show you that your business does not matter to them. The problem is that they are the contracted vendor for the retailer that you bought your appliance from. You don't have a choice. You're stuck. In fact, the tech that they sent out told me that they are aware of the bad reviews written by end consumers. And they don't care! It doesn't matter to them because the retailers they are contracted with LOVE them. So there you go. Call your retailer. But good luck there too. I've gotten NO help from Best Buy. This F'ing company SUCKS! First of all DO NOT use American Home Sheild, secondly they will pawn you off on this sorry a** company. The so-called technician came out for the repair, took apart the freezer inside part and used a steamer machine to defrost the inside quickly, this may or may not have been the issue because after doing that and putting it back together the freezer didn't work anymore. Then he re-took it apart and found out he forgot to attach something, really....After he left I smelled a burning smell and relized he blew my GFI plug. I then had to call out an electrician after I checked the fuse box and used a meter to check it. Turns out he overloaded something in the fridge or using his heater tool and literally fried the plug to which the electrician replaced and had it back up and running, but the fridge plug kept tripping the new one to and not working, so I re-called AHS and told them about the issue, and they said they have to use the same repair company (and apparently the only sub-contractor in my area). TWO WEEKS later after losing all my food, he shows up with my wife home and precedes to tell her, after farting with it for a half hour, he thinks it might be the motor, he got the fan and freezer working and said he'd be back in an hour (this was at 1pm) to see if it's the motor because the non-freezer side would not be cold then he'd know. After I got home around 3:30pm, he'd not shown back up. I called his number and left three messages 1 hour apart, well, well, well. I then called Accord Appliance and spoke with their receptionist (always the same Russian sounding girl) who said that the repairman had called her to order a motor, he couldn't call me back and let me know that?! She said it would be there on the following Monday (this is the Monday before I'm talking to her). She calls me back on Friday and says it's in, great! see you guys' Monday; but then says the repairman will be another two weeks out, of course I'm livid now and called her a lair about her statement about Monday. So that's where I'm at now, waiting two weeks till December 1st to see if this idiot of a repairman actually knows what he is doing.... I'll add a follow up later. read more

DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY INTO YOUR HOME. I am a current soon to be ex American Home Shield customer and every time I put in a service request for one of my appliances they refer me to ACCORD APPLIANCE and every time I have gotten the same repair person PETER. Peter ALWAYS says that my problem is not normal wear and tear so my claim to repair is not covered or he poorly tries to repair the problem. I currently have caulking in my refrigerator because he said that would fix the ice maker issue I was having well after 6 visits and my ice maker still not being fixed I called Samsung who sent out a technician at no cost to me and replaced the ice maker. Peter has been out at least 3 times for my stove and each time he says the ignitors just need to be cleaned and then 2/3 weeks later they stop igniting by themselves. Petter returned again to replace a switch on my stove and when I had a 2nd company come out because my stove again stopped lighting by itself and I requested a different company - the 2nd company had found that Peter had left the old part just laying in the bottom of my cooktop - WOW really how unprofessional is that. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL, nothing will ever get repaired or you will end up spending more money trying to repair what they supposedly fixed because the repairs will be shooty. read more

It starts with their scheduling. I had to call them because they didn't contact me like the home warranty company told me to expect. They provide a 6 hour window (12-6) and the receptionist doesnt say "bye", she just hangs up on you....every call ends in her hanging up on you. Jorge came out the first time, to diagnose the problem, then had to order parts and came back two days later to fix the problem. Again the window was 12-6, and he called that day at 10:00 saying he will be here in 15 minutes!! Good thing I blocked the whole day off for their awful scheduling. He repaired my fridge and installed a new tube behind it. Couple hours later i left and came home to a FLOOD in my house because the new tubing popped off the back, and was spraying out water for who knows how long. HE Clearly didnt install it properly. There was INCHES of water covering my floors that HE Caused. I called him to tell him my rug is now ruined FROM THE DAMAGES HE CAUSED but he laughed saying, "he doesnt fix rugs, he just repairs fridges" (which obviously he doesnt know how to do). He refused to come back the same day saying that "well its just to far for me to go right now, haha", because they are located in temecula. He called back saying he can then make me his first call the next day but I told him not to worry I'll get a different company out here to do the job, which I did. Tell your home warranty company you refuse to work with this company because they have such awful reviews. I promise Accord Appliances will make your problem worse . Look at all their bad reviews. I told the home warranty company I refuse to let them in my home and they simply assigned us Low Rates Appliance Repair, for the next call. I wish i insisted a better company from the beginning. BEWARE!!!! Do not use this company they are horrible. They were assigned to us by American Home Shield to repair our oven. I did not read the reviews until after they had showed up, my mistake! The technician showed up late for the first appointment, said he would order the part and an appointment was set for 1 week later. The day of the appointment we got a call after waiting all day and he says his truck broke down. Another appointment was set for one week later, the same thing happened a different technician calling saying they can't make it. If I could give -5 star I would. I put in an order on Dec 28 for my refrigerator and Dishwasher via my home warranty, family of 5 with no way to keep food cold. Accord Appliance was contracted for repairs, It took a week for the first tech to come out, he took temp of my refrigerator and freezer and said it's not working.. well I could have told you that. I asked if he was going to look at my dishwasher, both had an open claim with Accord appliance, he said no I do not work on dishwashers. He left and I called, they sent another person a week later. He comes, hoping to have working appliances. Nope! He said he had to order part and to call in 2 days, he comes out the next week with the wrong part for the refrigerator, says he fixed the dishwasher, nope same issue 10 mins after he leaves. I just had two "lead techs" come out again, wrong part again for refrigerator and said the dishwasher has never been touched, both need part ordered AGAIN! 40 days now without either appliance. The worst experience ever with this company My situation still - Refrigerator not working since 2/11/2021 rescheduled 2 times , staff has no customer service (Roxy stated she was the "supervisor") was no help on top of that she stated she would call First American Warranty and state that I canceled.
