I shroud have verified before he left. Not working. No callbacks etc said I needed to call AHS agin to issue another order. When I did they said they saw that Accord had cancelled my work order, that was re issued the day prior, that same morning most likely while accord was talking to me they were pressing the delete key. Had a technician out within a day or two of my oven going out, to which he had to order the part needed. They did say 2-4 days and it has been a week BUT when I called today Bobby was super helpful and pleasant. Much more so than others I have spoken to there. Customer service is very poor!!! Call AHS for my oven repair, AHS contacted Accord to perform the service. A technician came and examined my oven and Accord ordered that parts. Once the parts arrived, Accord called to make an appointment, when the tech came out he discovered that Accord ordered the wrong parts. Received a call from Accord last week and we made an appointment to come out this last Tuesday and repair the oven. Then another person called to made an appointment for Thursday. Once I started to asked about the two appointments they hung up on me twice. Then I contacted American Home Shield (AHS) to after hours speaking to three or four people they mentioned that the parts were on back ordered and the lead time is 15 weeks. I'll speck more about American Home Shield (AHS) on their site. So the question is, why are they making appointments when knowing the 15 week led time?! Poor customer service. This company was contacted by my home warranty co. I received the call from their office to schedule an appointment, they came out as scheduled and on time. Porfirio was the technician that came out and he saw what the problem was, told us he had to order the part, in which he did. He told us as soon as it came in, probably a week. The part came in before a week but he came out soon after that and installed our new ice maker. **Read ALL the negative reviews - BEWARE!** Our LG front load washing machine would not spin. The error code of LE suggested we call for service, according to the owner's manual. Our home warranty company sent this crappy company out, Accord Appliance. The service rep, looks like "Sean" written on the work order, spent less than 5 minutes looking at the washer. He didn't even want to see or hear it run. He just said that it needed a new senor and he would order it and he left. We waited 1 week and then called Accord to see what the status was. The person that answered the phone said the claim was closed. That person said their records showed that our washer was "full of suds" and they had photos. Our washer IS NOT full of suds so who knows where the photos came from. They said we needed to "clean the machine." Total BULL. We asked about the sensor that was supposed to be ordered. No sensor was ordered. They billed our home warranty company for sevices not provided or completed. They also have the customers sign a work order that does not indicate any services being completed nor a diagnosis of the problem. I am sure they do this so they can fraudulently bill home warranty companies for bogus services. We notified our home warranty company of the terrible service and fraudulent practices. They sent another company and the diagnosis was done properly. We called Accord Appliance to speak to the supervisor or owner and they hung up on us. We are a parts sales company and sold a part to this company. We paid the initial shipping as is our way of business. Apparently they did not need it for the repair as they initially thought so they returned it stating that it was defective, and as such incurred return shipping on our part. Our parent company then penalized our performance on our salesmanship due to the alleged notion that we sent out a defective part. The part arrived to us and had clearly never been taken out of the box nor installed! Instead of paying return shipping for a mistaken order like our policy states and a company with decency should, they made a false claim that automatically charged us the return shipping, saving them the cost, and claimed it was defective which is not true at all. If this is the moral standard on which this company operates, I'd strongly suggest looking elsewhere for your appliance repair needs. Absolutely disappointing. read more

THERE IS A REASON THEY HAVE A 1.5 STARS! Please save yourself a headache, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Extremely unprofessional and do not deliver services after waiting for a long time. We got stuck with this company because our home owners warranty sent them to us. It took 1 week for them to come look at our appliances. When the technician came, he came to do an evaluation of what was wrong with our freezer and our microwave. After he left our freezer was making a loud noise all night long, so we had to turn off the refrigerator, which ruined all of our groceries. Also, our water and ice maker completely stopped working since. At this point, he said it'll take about another week for the parts to come in. Then he came back and tells me that he can't fix the microwave because he needs someone to help him. Mind you we had been waiting for 3 weeks already! I expressed to him that I have a newborn at home and I need the microwave fixed ASAP to sterilize the baby's bottles and told him about the water and ice maker not working after he left the first time, so he accused me of being verbally abusive and our order was sent back to our home owners!!! I am a woman with a newborn at home, so you think I am going to become verbally abusive to a strange man inside my house?!! I had a service appointment for yesterday 11-16-2020 between 8-12 and the repair man named Soraj never showed up or bothered to call. Apparently after the part for my range sitting in their warehouse for over 2 months it was deemed defective and therefore he just chose not to show up. I had to call around 12:45'and spoke to Arie who did not even know why he had not arrived. The lack of consideration for my time was very unprofessional and I would not recommend this company. American Home Shield hired them to fix our dishwasher. A tech came and found the issue. They ordered a part and were supposed to come by and fix the issue over the weekend. I had an 8am - 12pm service window...at 2pm I called for an update, only to find out they had no idea were their tech was and could not get a hold of the tech. I called American Home Shield and was told they would address the issue and have the vendor come out. They didn't show up again! This time they said the tech was hung up at another call and we were their next stop. They never showed up or called. Their customer service is horrible. Each time an appointment was called to be scheduled, the lady on the phone would just blurt out what day/time was convenient for them. No attempt to ask the customer what's a better day/time. How could you not know where your tech is or even have the curtousy to call and reschedule the appointment if it was going to pass the service window. Ridiculous. read more

I paid the service call through American Home Shield, which turned out to be a total waste of money. Accord came, fixed an oven, but (from what I understand) used an off-market part. The whole thing had to be done again -- and not by them. We got a qualified appliance repair company out who used the correct part (with a warranty). Upshot is: Those guys are getting a great review. I recently sold my house and the buyers home inspector noted the display on my microwave was dim (everything else worked fine). I was requested by the buyer to have it repaired. My home warranty company call Accord Appliance. The service tech (Jesus) came out on June 19th and after first saying nothing as wrong even though he himself had to cup his hands over the display to read it he finally said he needed to order a control board (smart board). After 10 days of no status updates I had to call them and they told me the part just arrived (yeah right) and they would be out on July 1st to finish the job. The same service technician came but did not have a control board. He had the front panel assembly but not the board he said he was going to order. When I questioned him as to why he did not have the control board he didn't answer. After replacing the front panel assy and plugging the unit back in I noticed the microwave wasn't working at all. When I asked again why he didn't have the right part and if the microwave was working the same as when he arrive he said " get out of my face and leave me alone". So I left him alone to finish. When he completed I asked if the microwave was working as when he arrived he told me yes. When I went to check he hurried out to his car and left. As I suspected, nothing worked. It was worse than before he arrived. I called Accord Appliance (on hold for over 30 minutes this is normal because my call for the status also had me on hold for over 30 minutes) to tell them the microwave did not work at all now and they started blaming the warranty company for making them order the front panel instead of the control board. When I said that I can understand if you need to order the correct part but it doesn't work at all now. They continued to blame the warranty company and ignored the current problem that now the microwave did not work at all. When I tried to tell her it had nothing to do with the warranty company but the technician making the problem worse they hung up on me. I am an electronic technician for over 40 years and know how to replaced electronic boards. I question the technicians replacements methods or practices as they seemed incorrect. I won't get into the details but as best as I can tell it looks as if he may have damaged the control board while trying to use a electric screwdriver to remove 4 screws from the board. The whole thing was awkward. Holding the panel with one hand while trying to use the drill with another. All he had to do was removed 4 connectors and a ribbon cable and the whole assy could be removed put on a table and then the part could be easily replaced. I know because after he left I did it myself trying to get the microwave to work. It took less than 10 minutes to remove the control board and put it back in. If I didn't have the warranty I could have done it myself. I found the part online for $50 more than my deductible with 2 day shipping. Lesson learned. I would never hire this company and you shouldn't either. Rude and incompetent. read more

This place is a joke. I have been in my new house for 1 month and have the AHS warranty as part of the house. They assigned Accord appliance to come and evaluate my claim (the internal glass on my oven shattered). Sean came, and was here for 7-10 mins and said they would be back in touch when they get the replacement part. Great I thought, seemed nice enough and said it would be no problem to replace. Then I get a text from my warranty company saying the case was closed. I called accord and was told that Sean determined that it wasn't a covered item and cancelled it out. This is after he said they would be out in a few days to fix it. I am reporting them to AHS and then see what other mechanisms there are to report them or providing negative reviews. I did have another company come out and I they ordered the part for my dishwasher. The actual problem was due to belt snapping on the water wall drive system. That is what made the sound of grinding. Also I would like to reiterate the incompetence of the service employees hired by Accord Appliance and hopefully they read this review so they can tell their employees Cascade Complete is safe for use in dishwashers after all lol. I really hope ACCORD APPLIANCES GOES OUT OF BUSINESS. They are NOT ALLOWED to operate in the Temecula and immediate surrounding areas due to a suspension with their license. Seems this company is about as bad as it gets. If you do get them through American Homeshield (you shouldn't I reported them), you can request an immediate change to a competent vendor. Accord is a waste of time overall and the equivalency is the same as having a bursted pipe and the plumber saying, "It must be the shampoo going through the pipe...you as a customer shouldn't have put shampoo through the pipe so it is your fault but let me order a pipe that will never come.
