I was not surprised when I opened up Yelp to review this company to see low review rating. They are part of Home Depot warranty program. I have had several problems with my dishwasher and Home Depot has called this particular company out 2 or 3 times. Each tome they have come out they say they have to "order parts to repair it". Then 2 weeks later each time I've gotten a call that my Home Depot repair ticket is closed. This company says a need a plunger each tome they've come out. I've had a plumber come out and there is NOTHING wrong with my plumbing. Companies that have come out after them have replaced the controller and the arm. This tome my hearing element is out and my dishes are not drying. This has nothing to do with my aerator which they are claiming this time. Have American Home Shield put Accord on their RESTRICTED list. I called American Home Shield and registered a complaint. I told them I did not want do business with Accord appliance again. So, they put them on their list of restricted vendors! Then they sent out another vendor (at no charge) to handle the issue. Several visits to my property to fix dishwasher (not draining), they told my tenant she was using the wrong kind of soap, it was making too many bubbles, and that's why the dishwasher wasn't draining. They told my 80 year old tenant to try four or five different kinds of soap. A simple test showed this was wholly inaccurate. We ran the dishwasher empty, with no soap. Same problem. My research shows if the dishwasher isn't draining it's because the drain is clogged. Given that Accord is so inept as to not even have one single good review, make this possibly the only company on Yelp with, now, 26 one-star reviews. read more

THIS IS THE WORST PLACE EVER TO DEAL WITH! WORST SERVICE EVER. My dryer was under warranty and needed to be serviced. I got pushed around numerous times the first time scheduling me then canceling right before saying they scheduled me in error, then to be rescheduled for their technicians to "say" they came and I wasn't home when I had been home waiting for them to come. I was told the technician would add me back to the schedule and ended up waiting another 2 and half hours before I finally called and said forget it. I would rather PAY someone to come look at my dryer than ever deal with these people again! They are inconsiderate and the incompetent girls that answer the phone could care less how inconvenienced their customers are. I would avoid this place at all costs. read more

The technician that came to my home is the only good thing about Accord. He was nice and explained everything he did, showed me the problem and ordered the part. This is as far as the good review goes. I've been without an oven for a month. Accord keeps moving the date the part is supposed to arrive. One person told me their account was on hold with the parts company, but it had now been fixed. Trying to speak with someone is not easy. On day I left message and didn't received a call back. I spoke with someone today and asked to speak with a supervisor and I was told one is not available. I was told I could leave a message for the supervisor, but who knows when I would get a call back. Worst service ever!! They came out to check our washer that was not getting power. Told me it needed a new Control board but never gave me a price or a day of when or if the could fix it. I had called 3 times within a week & talked with a lady who was extremely rude and short each time saying she would check with the tech & her manager and let me know how much and when they could fix it. Well that never happened so now almost 2 weeks without a clothes washer for a family of six I call another repair company they come out the next day pull the "control panel" not the board apart hit a reset button and bam the washer works!!! I have American Home Shield and I was assigned to you as my repair service. At the time, I did not know that your rating was so poor. I did have difficulty when I was on with the dispatcher because I wanted to talk to the technician. Having said that and after calling back AHS I was at least able to get a tech to come and look at my refrigerator the next day. The tech was fine except his hand were tied because he did not have the parts to fix it. But here's the kicker, he could get the part quickly, but it has to go through AHS. This could take up to two days. It so happens that the leave was on the verge of getting bad so we have some leeway. It's now over 6 hours since the repairman was at my house and AHS has not received any notice of the need for a part ant the need for the repairman to return. When the repairman was here, he was clear to tell me that I could get it fixed quicker if I pay $120 for the next visit plus parts and labor. So I write this for readers to know TWO things. First, Accord Appliances deserves the low rating it got. Second, that American Home Shield is a terrible terrible company. I have paid AHS 6 years' worth of policies and this is my first claim. I learned that AHS does everything thru the Phillipines. Hence nothing gets done. I still can't sign in to their website because of some technical glitch that they have no idea how to fix. The dishwasher door fell and it hasn't been drying the dishes for a while. first they send a guy and he only fix the door. He said the other problem is normal. He told me that that brand has that problem always. That he is hearing from different people about it. Well then its not ok.. I am not satisfied with that so they sent another guy. They sent Bernard. Now everything change. He found problems right away and was able to order the part and after a few days it came and he was back and fixed it. He also fixed my refrigerator that day. Sean was nice and very professional, but when he came to my house and inspected my washing machine, he reported one issue to me and a completely other (different) issue to my insurance company (American Home Shield). Unfortunately, the issue he reported to me IS covered under my insurance, but what he reported to my insurance company is NOT. When I called to find out what the discrepancy was, I was kept on hold for an eternity and then told I would get a call back (which never came). So now, in order to determine the actual source of the issue (was it the one Sean told ME, or the one he told American Home Shield?) I have asked AHS for a 2nd opinion, which will cost me another $100. Confused and NOT STOKED. read more

My refrigerator freezer section was not working, Accord appliance has been to our house twice. This has been ongoing for over a month. I called last week to confirm followup service and was told part would be in last Thursday. I again checked this morning (no follow up on their end) the part is on back order and should be in around the 21st. I had a problem with a referigerator and AHS dispatched Accord Appliance. They came out after 7 days. The technician was nice. He said the frdige needed a blower and they'll order it. After 10 days, they scheduled the technician. The technician arrived and said the part was broken. After abother 10 days they scheduled another visit. No one showed up and my repeated calls to company were ignored and no one could get a hold of the technician. Then they said wrong part was ordered. I waited another 7 days, and the same thing. The technician was supposed to show up yesterday. No one showed up and my repeated calls to the company were ignored and no one could get a hold of the technician. This morning I spoke to them and they're saying they ordered the wrong part and now I have to wait until AFTER thanksgiving. I've been out of a fridge for one month. If your warranty company suggests this company for repairs...decline it and run! I had a new GE dryer that wasn't working on the automatic moisture sensor cycle (temperature control and timed cycle worked fine). Contacted GE on the warranty. Accord called to setup an appointment with an 8am-12pm timeframe. At 1130am they called to say they wouldn't come out that day as they didn't realize where I was exactly and didn't have a driver in that area, even though they had my address for 3 days. It was rescheduled with an 8-12 time again...after calling i was texted they would be there ASAP at about 11am. They finally arrived at 6PM. I told what the issue was...and given a work order to sign...the list of repairs/parts was blank so I asked him to fill in the part being ordered/replaced (Moisture Sensor). He then texted me later the part number as he had to look it up....that part number was for a High Limit Thermostat Assembly, not the Moisture Sensor. They called a couple weeks later to schedule replacing the part. Here is the kicker....the paper that I signed, has written on it that they 'Performed the repair/replacement to my satisfaction and that I authorize the warranty company to pay them fully'. Yet NONE of the work was done and the part wasnt even ordered yet. I brought up the wrong part and the issue of the work order and cancelled the repair with the warranty company...I am at least glad they didnt tear apart a month old dryer to replace the wrong part and have the issue still there. read more

Accord was the same company who came to fix the same problem On February 16, 2021. Yes. It was the same company! The technician did NOT even attempt to diagnose the existing issue because he THOUGHT THAT I TOLD HIM NOT TO DIAGNOSE IT, which was a bunch of lies. We had a leaky dishwasher and unfortunately have a home warranty with AHS. The connected us to Accord Appliance and we have had the worst experience imaginable. They came out once to repair it and two days later the leak was worse than ever dowsing under the sink and sitting on the hardwood floors overnight. When they were contacted we had to go through the home warranty again who sent us back to them. We were informed "We cant get anyone out to you for another week!" After waiting a week he came out for five minutes and said he fixed it again. The next day that was proved to be a lie. We called and a man informed us they would be able to rectify it quickly as soon as AHS contacted them. The of course never called. I then spoke with a very rude lady who told us it was going to be another week and if that wasn't satisfactory call the warranty company. Never use this company. I was assigned to Accord Appliance through my home warranty company. First, their hold time is extremely long. I called three days after they had been assigned to my case to set up the appointment, and explained to the receptionist that I had not received a call, which is typical for warranty calls. No apologies for any miscommunications. Second, they came out to look at my appliance. Took a couple photos and said they had to order some parts. Then asked ME to go to the store to buy material for them to efficiently do their job. I wish I was joking. When I said that I thought it was ridiculous that I should go to the store to buy product for them when they are being paid to do the job, he said "Well I guess you don't have to go. Have a good day" and left. I have no idea if they're going to return to fix my appliance. I had the best experience with Accord appliance. They were recommended to me by a realtor who had used them. Scheduling was easy. Jorge came out the first time and checked everything. The technician, Jorge, told me what we needed to do and showed me the worn and rusted pieces. I appreciated that he talked me through it and actually showed me what was wrong. They ordered a couple parts and Jorge was back within days to install them. He was very professional, helpful and even did some extra work that was not required. I would hire him back! This is not a good company! They are hired from a home insurance company. They came out to the desert only to tell my mom that it is too hot to have a refrigerator in the garage, it been out there for 12 years! He said the F word at the house and then reported back to Fidelity that it's too hot and he won't replace the refrigerator, its normal wear and tear. I am shocked! Just because we live in 115-degree weather and you don't want to drive out here from Temecula, and you forgot the fan and did not want to drive back, you left my elderly mom without a refrigerator. I called the company right away to try to get him to come back. They said I will try and get back to yo . They never called so I called them and was told I would have to wait another week for an appointment so I went ahead and scheduled with the manager. My wife took the day off of work and they never showed up. So I called and they said I wasnt on the appointment list. So this is day days of work my wife missed and they still have done nothing. Had scheduled an appt for Friday. My husband was home all day and never left the house. Received text at 11:42 stating on their way. I texted my husband to be on the look out (since they give a ridiculous 4 hour window). An hour and a half later he texted me to tell me that were no shows....I called Accord and got a very not so nice person with terrible customer services skills. She stated he was there and knocked, I asked well did he ring the door bell, well no but what difference does that make. Seriously~ my response was they need to get the tech back out there since my husband had been waiting all day. Nope that's not gonna happen. I said well can we reschedule but this time because of your lack of commitment I need a solid time, tell me 8 am and I'll be there. I have a ULINE under cabinet refrigerator that was freezing the drinks and the Accord tech adjusted the door and charged me $125. It didn't fix the problem and when I called, they either left me on hold or took my information and told me that Jerry the service manager would call me back. That didn't happen. I can only share that this company is extremely difficult to reach by phone. I tried countless times to reach them hanging hold listening to their hold message for 5 and 10 minutes each time I called before giving up. If you choose to leave a message, in my experience they don't check their messages or choose not to return the call. Home Depot set up an appointment with them to repair our refrigerator. The problem resolved itself, so both Home Depot and I tried to cancel the appointment. I finally left them a message cancelling the appointment. You guessed it a repairman showed up. He was very nice, and didn't seem surprised that no one told the appointment had been cancelled days before. After reading their reviews on "yelp" I am glad we never got together.
