Awesome auto shop! I highly recommend it. I took my car in because the Check Engine light was on and when they opened the hood they found that there was a ton of corrosion on one of the battery terminals. Safi gave me a fair price for the maintenance and the cleaning of the battery terminal was thrown in for free. Go here for your car needs. I took my wife's van in last summer for a wheel alignment. I'm not so sure they did anything because now the almost new tires in the front are almost to the steel bands. I paid for an "alignment" and now I have to pay for two new tires. This place cost me more money than if I never took it in at all. read more

Safi is amazing! I called after my car had overheated on the side of the road. He offered to contact some tow companies for me. When I called him back to explain my insurance didn't cover it, he offered to come to my rescue. He came with jugs of water and let me drive the car he came in back to the shop while he drove mine. He had to stop throughout the way to put more water. I had not been able to find a mechanic in the bay since moving here, but after the amazing service I received there's only one place I'll be going to wiry car problems. read more

Excellent customer service! I have run flats performance tires on my car and one of them was leaking and was difficult to find (I have taken it to another tire shop earlier). They worked meticulously for more than an hour to find and fix it. I figured that it is really difficult to work on such tires but they were very patient and professional. In the end they could have easily charged me their hourly rate of $125 but rather just a puncture repair fee of $35. These guys deserve your business! Cheers! read more

I went in today for an oil change (they're only 19 dollars on groupon right now!) and I left extremely satisfied! Ace is a small, family owned business ran by some outstanding people. I had a HUGE dent on my front bumper and since I was already there, I asked if they could give me an estimate on how much a repair would cost. They took one look at it and told me that they would push out the dent as best they could--FREE of charge! Other places told me that I would be lucky to get that dent pushed out for a minimum of a couple hundred dollars. While his dad was working on my car, the manager answered all of my little car questions and was very kind. Thank you for the great service! Very professional team, I called in and was able to get an appointment within 24 hrs. I have an old 911 where the AC quit on me, 2 hrs later I had my system pressure tested and fully recharged for about $110 They communicated with me the whole time and were very service oriented. The unanimously five-star ratings initially made me suspicious. I thought: are these reviews real? However, with a $19 oil change groupon deal, I went with them anyway and ended up going back again for a power steering pump replacement. In short, they deserve the five stars! During my oil change: 1. Cheap and quick oil change with an appointment. 2. No bullshit. They told me I had a power steering pump leak. (I had been hearing noises from my engine for a while; but, not being a car person, I wasn't sure what the problem was.) But the way they informed was to simply ask me if I wanted a quote and to come back to them if I decided to go with them. No pressure whatsoever. During my power steering pump replacement: 1. Very quick responses and updates about the process (parts, time frame, etc.) 2. Realistic about process. He told me about an hour and a half; and it actually took about an hour and a half. 3. Asked me if I had a ride back and forth and gave me a ride back to my apartment, saying that he was going that direction anyway. 4. Asked me if I minded if he brought my car to the apartment. And then did it! Their price was very fair; and their service was above and beyond. Five star without a doubt. read more

Safi was great in giving me estimates that are competitive with other body shops, then he contacted me every time where there is change or extra charges during the appointment. They saw us right away despite the holiday, diagnosed the problem as a misaligned gas cap, removed the code that signaled the light to go on, and got us going in no time. My Mercedes AC system stopped working, and I decided to take my car to the Mercedes Dealership for a diagnosis. They concluded that I needed to replace several expensive components. The repair estimate was more than I could afford, so I took my car to Ace Auto Electric & Air Conditioning and talked to the shop owner (Sedrak). He advised me that he would provide me with an estimate that would be less than the cost of the dealership, and that the quality of the work would be as good, or if not better than the dealership. After talking to Sedrak, I felt very comfortable with his back ground qualifications, especially understanding that he possesses a wealth of air conditioning trouble shooting knowledge, and more than 30 years of hands on experience in this field. He specializes in AC repairs, and his shop is not your run of the mill general repair auto shop. His shop is clean and organized. I went ahead with the repairs and I am very pleased with his work. Most importantly, his final cost was as promised, much less than the the dealership estimate. I highly recommend this repair shop. read more

Amazing service. After getting a horrendous quote from the dealership, I took my 2011 Nissan in for service. Not only was the quote significantly cheaper than the dealership, the service was outstanding. I didn't have to wait to be helped, even got a ride after I turned in the vehicle. Open and clear communication through the process, and when finished, the car was delivered to my home. In addition, as a first time customer, I was given a significant discount. I don't write many reviews but I had to for this business. I live in Lafayette and heard that Ace Auto Care was a great place if you had any car issues. I decided to take it there since I had squeaky brakes and the air conditioning was not working. Even though they were busy they took the time to check my car. They were able to fit me in and gave me a great price on everything. I got the car back in tip top condition. I plan to come back soon to do a transmission flush and spark plugs. I would give this place 6 stars if I could. I had an engine problem with my Audi that was misdiagnosed by several places as a catalytic converter issue and/or clogged fuel lines and/or etc.. This was the only place that figured it out after persisting well past what the Codes read. Turns out it was an engine electrical problem--a bad relay and, once replaced, the car finally runs perfectly. Very impressive work especially since they also kept to the original estimate for repair which I can attest ended up being well below the time spent diagnosing and repairing the problem.
