The atmosphere here was truly a blast! Their website recommended reservations and boy oh boy I am glad we did so, because that place was jam packed with loads of hungry folks. The decorations were really fun and we had a very attentive and kind server. My absolute regret was not getting the spicy pork ramen because I'm a coward when it comes to spicy stuff, but the abundance of how tasty it was on Yelp followed by all the tables around me ordering that dish made me want to go back in time to order that! Instead, I got the miso ramen and kimchi fried rice. The miso ramen was alright, but it wasn't very memorable. The kimchi fried rice was quite tasty and a very safe choice to choose. Probably not as revolutionary as the spicy pork ramen though. I'll have to go back and see. Oh, and their cocktails were really unique and fun! My fiance and I ended up enjoying each other's drinks more than the one we initially chose so we happily switched them with each other. This is an Asian fusion restaurant located in an old garage, with a side area for table tennis. The restaurant has many Chinese and dim sum type items, along with a few shareable plates. The crispy noodle strips came with a sweet dipping sauce and a spicy dipping sauce; warning: the spicy dipping sauce tastes like it has a lot of wasabi in it. I loved the lucky dragon wings that were tossed in the bang bang chili sauce. It isn't spicy by any means, but there is chili oil at the table for additional spice. The wings were crispy on the outside and tender inside. While the crispy beef and broccoli were good, it no better than what you can get at a traditional Chinese restaurant. The beef pho xiao long bao had a great broth in it, and definitely tastes like you are having a bowl of pho. The food is good, though fairly pricy. I think you can definitely get higher quality Asian food at a more traditional Asian or dim sum restaurant around Denver. read more

Stumbled upon this place while browsing through Denver food bloggers on Instagram and saw how beautiful their photos of their food were. It was balcony seating, and my friends and I each ordered their I believe duck ramen, which was really good. It was a large portion and the broth was flavorful. The pina coladas are dangerous, no alcohol to be tasted at all...so I indulged a little tasted great and had a good time. I was excited for the soup dumplings but they were meh. The real star were the chicken wings, wow. I could eat that all day: I highly recommend ordering many platefuls. Our server was so sweet. I visited this location prior to the pandemic and had an alright time. The big draw for me was the table tennis tables. The rate was fairly reasonable though the quality of the balls and paddles wasn't amazing (though not too different from what I've seen at other similar businesses). Since everyone was in one large room, there wasn't really anything preventing balls from flying towards other tables, which made it a bit harder to play competitively. The food I tried was alright, a bit pricey with alright flavors. The best part though was the colorful combination of ingredients and attractive plating. This is a very unique and fun place! We enjoyed brunch here this morning and it was a great experience! The restaurant and bar have lots of seating and it was very clean. This is an Asian fusion restaurant but, it is also 'airplane' themed and has multiple ping pong tables. There wasn't a ton of options for breakfast but, what they did have was excellent! We ordered the 'Jazzed Up' spiked Vietnamese iced coffee ($10), Japanese pancake ($13), the taiyaki chicken &waffles ($12) and pineapple caramel ice cream ($9). Everything we tried was delicious! The Japanese pancake is huge and fluffy. The taiyaki chicken was so crispy and well seasoned. The ice cream was so good and came with berries, oat crumble, and their signature koi fish shaped waffle. Ordered Wing Alley because my husband saw an article how their Tiger Wings was a unique taste with Asian fusion. I really wanted to give more stars because the service we received with GREAT!!! However, the wings were really dry. We were the first customers of the day, so I don't know how they can make their wings dry from the get go. Maybe it'll be different next time. The sauces were a bit overpowering. I was expecting more of a crunch like Korean Fried Chicken but it felt battery and extra saucy instead. Mainly disappointed in the dryness of the wings. I love their packaging. Each box had a sticker with the labeled flavor AND spice level. I'm huge on spicy so give me whatever haha. But my daughter is still a toddler and knowing I can easily see the spice levels brings ease to me! Came here Friday right at 4 pm before catching a concert. RW menu was priced at 35$. Started with the sichuan lamb dumplings which were not very spicy, the sichuan flavor was not as strong as I hoped and I wish the dumpling was a bit warmer. The chili oil at the table helped. I would not get this dish if you don't like lamb! The beef lo mein was good noodles were hot but the beef was room temp if not cold. The dessert was the mochi brownie which the texture was 100% mochi, somewhat of a brownie taste. Overall just ok! Not sure if I'll come back but worth a try. read more

I gave Ace Eat Serve two tries and both times the service wasn't great. Both times it took about 2 hours from start to finish. The food here was very tasty but I give it three stars because of the service. I've tried a bunch of different dishes here and my favorite are the wings and the mussels. The restaurant has a very cute interior with optional seating outside. In the back room there are a lot of ping pong tables that people are able to reserve. The server was wonderful but the food was horrible. The chicken in the Khao Soi was RAW, which was so disappointing because that was the only good dish we ordered. The tuna tartar was fishy and otherwise tasteless and the lamb was so gamy I couldn't eat the rest of the dish. There were MICE running everywhere under the tables under the interior covered patio. This place gets a star just for having ping pong tables, so my review is actually 2 stars for the food. This is a menu that, theoretically, should be a dream come true for me. So many hits: khao soi, xiao long bao, ramen, bao buns, fried rice, peking duck - sign me the hell up! Then you take a bite, and then another, and slowly it dawns on you that the food just isn't good. None of the dishes we tried were well executed, simple as. To add insult to injury, this place ain't cheap. If the food was good you wouldn't hear me complaining, after all it's a trendy spot and you'd expect a bit of an upcharge for that. Last night was a total treat. My friend and I snagged one of the 6 coveted Thursday night ducks which was presented and carved tableside. Chef Tran, who did the carving, described the process of making this duck which is very laborious and does involve high-powered industrial machines, a lot of seasoning, and patience. Ace Eat Serve offers Sunday Brunch from 10am-2pm; they have a DJ spinning on the patio, specialty brunch drinks, Japanese Pancakes & more! Brunching so hard. Ace Eat Serve's Chef Thach Tran & culinary team developed a brunch menu that breaks from expected dishes and offers a unique Asian dining experience in Denver. Ace's staff was professional and caring during our meal and exuded camaraderie; you could tell the entire team really meshed well with one another. Owner Emily, server Lila & Scott made our brunch memorable and had excellent customer engagement skills. For Sippin', I had the Let's Get Ducked Up, Bloody Mary. The Let's Get Ducked up is made with kimchi bloody mary blend, Brennivín aquavit, oyster sauce, yuzu kosh, sriracha, crisp chili oil, lime juice, peking duck fat wash, togarashi salt rim. I added the addition of the shrimp wonton! This clever bloody Mary variation had heat and flavor from the kimchi, oyster sauce, and yuzu kosh, sriracha. The shrimp wonton was my favorite part of this unique Bloody Mary. For brunch, we had the Fried Sesame Balls, Taiyaki Chicken & Waffles, Japanese Pancake, and Moons Over Miyabi Sandwich. The Fried Sesame Balls are filled with sweet red bean paste or taro paste. The Sesame Balls were crispy on the outside and warm soft and chewy on the inside; a unique dish! The sesame ball with sweet red bean paste was our favorite out of the two. The Taiyaki Chicken & Waffles is made with Japanese fried chicken, Taiyaki waffle, and house-made spicy ranch. The Taiyaki was a Japanese fish-shaped waffle that was sweet and had a nice dense but soft texture. The chicken was savory and crunchy and we filled the Taiyaki waffles with it, added syrup and then dipped it in the spicy ranch. Oooh that spicy ranch was unreal - more please! The Taiyaki Chicken & Waffles were my favorite! The Japanese Pancake is a tall pancake served in a cast-iron skillet with mango kaffir lime syrup and maple syrup. The pancake was sweet & densely fluffy with a beautiful vanilla taste. The mango syrup added fruity notes and maple syrup added caramel notes. The Moons Over Miyabi Sandwich is made with scrambled eggs, seared spam, napa cabbage, scallions, cheddar cheese, kewpie mayo, and crispy potatoes. The Kewpie mayo on this sandwich was amazing! It was rich with a hint of sweetness. The scrambled eggs were soft and fluffy, the cabbage tender, scallions delicate and spam salty with a slightly spicy, ham flavor. The Moons Over Miyabi Sandwich was Ross' favorite. How about a little table tennis with your brunch? We explored further into Ace's lively space and found an expansive ping pong hall, home to an array of Cornilleau ping pong tables! Ooooh this place is a big ol' vibe! I've had Ace Eat Serve bookmarked for a while now, and finally got a chance to stop in for their Sunday Brunch with my family and we all absolutely loved it! First, it's an official party. A DJ, ping pong tables outside and inside and just a great, open space with a wonderful outdoor patio. Service was fantastic, drinks were tasty (highly recommend the Morning Struggle with sparkling sake and fresh tangerine juice) and we tried quite a few things on the menu. The absolute fave of the whole table was the Taiyaki Chicken & Waffles. The perfectly crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside waffle was perfection with the Japanese fried chicken. This dish was a bit small for me though, but still SO good. Moon Over Miyabi was also solid - scrambled eggs, seared spam, napa cabbage, scallions, cheddar cheese, kewpie mayo (Japanese mayo) all in a delicious sandwich plus a good amount of crispy potatoes with a drizzle of even more kewpie on top. (IMO, we all need to trade out our regular degular mayo for kewpie and elevate our mayo game). Delish! The Scallion Pancake was also terrific - scrambled eggs, shoestring fries, Asian slaw and furikake wrapped up in a savory scallion pancake. We also ordered the Hong Shao Rou Pork Belly Hash (pork belly, fried potatoes, hatch green chillies and egg) which was tasty, although I wish the pork belly was bigger. And of course, the Japanese Pancake with mango kaffir lime syrup is a more cakey pancake - big enough to share for sure. Another must is that Taiyaki Ice Cream Waffle with their housemade ice cream. Same amazing waffle and that ice cream is so creamy and so surprisingly good! We just LOVED their matcha lemon and that UBE! Guys - if you're into ube, please get this. Absolutely love this place. Been coming for about a year now and can stay consistent has been on point. Always greeted quickly and helped in a timely fashion. I prefer sitting at the bar where the guys are an absolute joy and no matter what kind of day I have had, immediately lift my spirits. Their recommendations for food and drink are always spot on and if there is anything wrong, it gets fixed with no questions asked. My last visit we were able to sit outside where there was plenty of shade and much needed misters keeping us cool. Greenery and music made great ambiance to go with our alcoholic slushie drinks and sake.
