I've been coming to the store for at least 15+ years and I can't believe I have never left a review. I've noticed that hardware stores get reviewed terribly and doesn't reflect the average user experience 99% of the time. This isn't the closest hardware store to my home, but they do each carry different brands and targeted stock selection, so you will always find yourself at multiple different stores, sometimes searching for perfect piece to your puzzle. The garden center gets a lot of my money as they have a wonderfully large selection of plants to choose from. The parking lot is huge, so that'll never be a problem! They have a good selection of trucks you can rent and the process is pretty easy and as efficient as that process can probably be. I also love the day worker spot at the end of the parking lot. read more

Home Depot in general, and this location in particular, have really gone downhill. Customer service is dismissive and clueless, employees don't even seem to know their own products, and forget about getting any professional advice. The sexagenarians they put at the registers look like they absolutely hate being there, which makes the whole experience even worse. And home delivery is a joke--misdelivered orders, delays, and more headaches. If you're going to put clueless people at the registers, at least give us some good-looking clueless people. read more

This location is my favorite Home Depot and it's in my home town. I've been to many in the area. I'm at this storage at least once a week. It's a standalone store so you only get people that are going to the store so the parking lot isn't crazy full. Overall I've had good experiences with the staff, I recognize many over the years and most are knowledgeable about their particular department. Once thing I especially like are the returns. They make returns easy so I can buy with confidence. I've also used their Rheem extended warranty on 4 different tank water heaters that were leaking. I brought back the old water heater and they gave me a new one. Simple. I prefer Home Depot over Lowes any day. read more

Pray whatever you're buying isn't locked behind a gate. It will take you 20 minutes to find someone to get it for you. Then finally, when you do, the cabinet will be broken and they will need to spend 20 more minutes to find the one special person who knows the trick to opening it. Alright hear me out. I reserved a rental cargo van and had several issues with this place when rescheduling my original reservation. The day I went to pick it up, they said they messed up my reservation and only had one cargo van that was already reserved for someone else. I wasn't obviously upset, but the employee "Brian" said he would make it work. When I arrived, Brian made it super easy on me. Had my cargo van ready to go and to top that, he gave me a small discount to make up for the trouble. That's solid customer service! Thanks Brian for saving my reservation and my business. read more

We came in the store. I asked two people for help. One young lady told me to go to customer service. I explained to our needed help with someone lifting up the toilet. She told me to go to customer service instead of calling someone. I asked another young lady Gail if she could find someone to help me and she did she found Maggie, who was able to lift the toilet for me help me pick out a sink as well as a faucet I don't know who the manager is around here but customer service is definitely lacking. It baffles me that there's only two people in the store that knows how to deal with customers The only reason Home Depot is still in business is because the small places have been run out of business, which is very very sad and of course I did go to the smaller place before coming here cause they didn't have what I needed Heart breaking that accompanies so Bigg doesn't know how to train employees to work. The stock is ok but the staff is crazy lazy. like I grabbed a watering can it was the only option in the whole garden center and when I got to the front realized it didn't have a sticker and the girl literally couldn't look it up?? Very disappointing experience. I reserved a moving van at this Home Depot location, but when I arrived, I was told I had to verify my ID through a third-party company (CLEAR). The system sent a verification code to a number I no longer have and would not allow me to update it. The staff said this wasn't the "first time" they'd seen this issue and offered no solution other than calling CLEAR. After being on hold for over an hour, I gave up, canceled my reservation, and went to U-Haul where I was in and out in 15 minutes. I will never attempt to rent a van from Home Depot again. read more

I'm not sure if any of his managers read these reviews, but even early in the morning on a Saturday, he needed someone to help take care of all the customers. I bought an A/C unit from here and the associate who sold it to me said I had 90 days to return the item--assuring me multiple times. However, when I went to return it they told me that it was a 7-day return policy. We were returning the unit on the 9th day. After much ado regarding the policy and the fact that the unit was never used/turned on etc. they offered store credit, which just wasn't going to work since we had ordered another unit the same day after we knew the other unit wouldn't fit our window sill. Update 5/9/24 I drive a bit further to visit this Home Depot to get Tim's help with Plumbing. He is a wealth of knowledge and has helped me when I thought we were going to have go to without water for the night due to a repair. I need to but the vent to attach a no-hub coupling to convert the drain to ABS. This is a large job that involves a lot of creative problem solving. The house being built in the late 40's. They did not have garbage disposers or dish washers back then. I have been able to do bathrooms and re pipe sections of our home to 1/2" Copper with Tim's help. The picture was taken with Tim and Luigi before closing when I was racing in to get last minute parts to start to cut pipe the next day. I am very happy to have people like Luigi and Tim who are more than willing to help with information about home repair. read more

I understand that not all products can be displayed due to space constraints, and additional items can be checked online, though some items may take a few weeks to arrive. I made the very large mistake of buying a bare root rose from these people. Not only did the plant come to me dead, but the box was crushed. There was no packing of any kind designed to keep the plant cushioned and protected in transit and neither was there any of the moist packing usually wrapped around the roots of a bare root rose. This critical packing is designed to make sure the plant does not dry out in transit, especially in the summer months when a plant can be stuck in a hot truck for hours awaiting delivery. The absolute lack of any effort to protect this plant in transit is infuriating. I would never order a live plant from them again and urge anyone else considering it to get a pad of paper and some crayons. Your drawing of a rose has a better chance of surviving than a live one purchased from Home Depot. read more

I'm reluctant to leave bad reviews, but I've had several bad experiences at this store, and had two of them TODAY. A couple months ago I ordered a workbench for curbside pick up. I waited for the notification that it was ready and when I received it I drove over to pick up the bench. After alerting them (via the app) that I was there, I waited 20 minutes in the pick up spot before I finally went inside to ask about my item. It was sitting inside and there was no one preparing to bring it out to me. Today, I searched the app to find out which local stores had the item I needed in stock, and was told that the Burbank store had 15! I only needed 4, so I drove over and went inside. I asked for help finding the item which I couldn't locate on the shelf, only to be told by a surly and dismissive worker that they did not have that item in stock. When I said "but your app says you have 15 at this store", he just said "I know". End of conversation, I guess. Later the same day I needed to pick up a tool so I ordered it (once again for curbside pick up, figuring the first fiasco was a glitch). After alerting the store that I was there for pick up, I waited in the pick up spot for 15 minutes before once again going inside to retrieve my item. There it was, sitting in a cubby, with no one having even begun the process of bringing it out to me. This store is broken. I advise you to find another hardware store. read more

DO NOT USE CURBSIDE PICKUP. You will be wasting your time. Waited 1/2 hr. No joy. Finally went inside. Employees were clueless. Similar experience a previous time. Otherwise a typical HD. The days of actually getting help at these stores are over. It use to be employees were informed and could give guidance on DIY projects. Not so much anymore, or they're not interested. I remember years back I could go to HD with a project in mind, find an employee with a background in the area I was addressing, and they'd always be so helpful, making suggestions. Like the time, naive me asked about getting new window screens made, and the guy totally showed me the correct tools and supplies to replace the screens and do the job myself! Or the employee who helped me figure out the materials I'd need to custom mount a commercial grade AC unit in some French windows. Yeah... no more. Double check whatever you buy that it hasn't been opened or is missing parts. Shelf stocking is a disaster. Best to do your research in advance, buy what you need and get in and out. read more
