This is truly one of the last HONEST auto repair places anywhere! Ara and Saro are efficient and as I can't say enough soooo very HONEST! They run diagnostics and give you price quotes that come in as promised, if something changes they NOTIFY you and then ask for permission to proceed....gee as it should be but so not often is not. Our family has several cars and all of them are cared for at Ace Service Center. We were referred to Ara by two different neighbors more than 15 years ago and we have been taking our cars there all these years. Recent experience: our college-aged son's Prius did not pass smog and paperwork noted that the hybrid battery was tripping the check engine light. My son took it to 2 different Toyota dealers and was quoted approx $4,1K by both. He then took the car to another private hybrid repair specialist who quoted him $1,100 to replace just bad battery cells. I insisted on taking it to Ace for a final opinion before putting out such an expense. Ace determined that the hybrid battery had a bad terminal that was replaced for less than $100 and the check engine light went off. We still need to drive it to recalibrate it. BUT their honesty, after 3 different places "inspected" the car literally saved us thousands! They are a busy place but if ya need to wait a day or two to get in - it is well with the wait, for the sake of your car and your bank account!! read more

I took my car to Ace Service Center after a friend of mine recommended it. At first I was skeptical because of the 2 stars on yelp but after reading the reviews I decided to go with my friends word instead and boy was I glad I did. I always dread going to the mechanic because honestly as a girl I've had bad experiences with some of them trying to take advantage of me because I don't know crap about cars but at Ace I can feel at ease because they have been very professional and honest. They checked my car diagnose the problem and told me exactly what I needed to do without trying to sell me anything I don't need just to make that extra buck! These folks are good people and also good at what they do, a very rare find in the field of auto repair shops! This is how all auto mechanic should be! Its a pretty busy shop which is a good thing I guess.. you don't get business if you are not doing a good job!! Regardless of that the service was fast and reliable. I am always on the look-out for an honest and reliable mechanic. Little did I know that I would find one 1/2 mile from my home. Both Soto and Art are knowledgeable, professional and hard working. I believe their prices are fair and though a couple times I didn't get my car back as early as I had anticipated, it was ok because I wanted the job done right and they always try to work with me to get my car in on my schedule. I needed some "Front End' work done, so I called Ace Service Center because it was close to my home. They quoted me a price over the phone but when I brought my car in, he gave me a price that was much higher (bait and switch). My car was in bad shape so I had to go with it. I SPECIFICALY asked if the alignment was included in that price and they told me yes. Less than 30 days later I had put out $300 EXTRA for new tires because they DIDN'T do the alignment. WHAT KIND OF PLACE LETS A CAR GO OUT AFTER DOING FRONT-END WORK WHEN THE WHEELS AREN'T STRAIGHT??? He could have killed my whole family. read more

First off let me say that I have never had a reason to write a yelp review. That being said this is my first one. My reason to yelp: A few weeks ago I had noticed a strange vibration coming from the rear end of my 2008 toyota tacoma so like most people I turned to my local toyota dealership. After multiple opinions from toyota and multiple road tests they have concluded that my transmission was going out. In complete shock I had no other choice but to hear out their solution. Toyota quoted me $4,800 to put in a remanufactured transmission. I almost lost my mind and was almost sure that my transmission was fine and didn't need to be changed out. I immediately left the dealership looking for a second opinion. That is when a friend had recommended ACE. I drove straight over and met with ARA. At that point he immediately went for a road test. He returned from the test and recommended I do a flush and change my transmission oil. He was almost positive it would fix the problem. We proceeded and after it was all done the problem was fixed for under $200. ARA at ACE just saved me $4600. I am forever grateful to him and his amazing team. They have earned my business for life. I highly recommend everyone check with ARA at ACE before getting any work done on your vehicle. read more

Took my 2004 green Nissan Altima to this shop, the owner was extremely rude after I merely asked for a quote for motor work since my car would not start at times. After the work was completed my steering wheel and seat was covered in grease and the owner once again was rude and denied the grease was done by him. Awful experience. read more
