We had the car towed over (2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid), and they diagnosed the problem and repaired the issue quickly and at a fair price. Unfortunately, the tech made a small mistake and once we got the car home, there was more oil on the driveway and a check engine light. Ugh, again. So we called back to Scott to see what he wanted us to do. We understand that sometimes mistakes are made and issues arise. How a business owner handles those issues are the difference between good businesses and great ones. This is a great one. Scott was MUCH more upset than we were! He got us back in same day and fixed the issue at no charge! (We should have paid for a necessary part, but he would not charge us.) With everything so expensive these days, and everyone trying to stretch a buck, it's hard to know if you're leaving your car with someone who cares about it as much as you do. Scott does. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough!

Mechanic that jumped in so I could point out what I'm hearing, said they were telling him something different. They then tried charging me an extra $410, to which they did end up refunding because the second round didn't work either. After they finally got a diagnosis, it was going to cost me $1,600. They put things back and I picked up car, and not only the clatter but now more rocker arm noise than before. I removed rocker arm covers off found 2 rocker arms with too much clearance in them from them having removed rocker arms. Was told that they had not removed them but I know they did. I got valves back out to get clearance right put back together runs good. Called Mesa Auto Works and told them of the problems and they denied everything. They had quoted me $3,400 for repair but checked with other shops and was told upto $2,300. I will not take another car there for repairs. Bill N.

He said I was the first person in 5 years that had asked for prices to be matched from another nearby mechanic shop. He even said that the prices that they quoted me, that I should go to the other shop instead, was a $60 difference by the way. Was also told by Ken that I wasn't a good customer because I had only done one oil service with them in a year and a half.
