Super small portion sizes for $12. Food is decent, not incredible. Dinner entree: 1/2 cup of rice and 1/2 cup of curry: 11.95$

This new place, the successor, is in fancy shopping mall at a Casino. So it seems to be for tourists now more than locals. Decor is nice but prices are for tourists and the ambience reminds me of PF Chang's. Food was good but the restaurant is not so fun any more. Sad - I miss the old place!

We ordered the khao soi and added the crispy duck, nam kao tod, thum ka noon and thai tea. The khao soi with crispy duck was amazing, hands down the favorite of what we ordered. The duck skin was crispy, and came with a nice curry sauce from the khao soi which had a good blend of creaminess, spice and umami. At the bottom of the dish was some egg noodles and some fried egg noodles on top for textural contrast. The duck itself is an additional cost but so worth it. Get an side of rice and you can soak up the rest of the khao soi sauce. The nam kao tod is crispy rice, sour pork sausage, cilantro, green onions, ground dry chilis, sliced ginger, peanuts & lime juice. Got this at medium spice. This was the first time I had a thai dish like this, had a really nice texture with the crispy rice and rest of the ingredients in it. The thum ka noon is shredded young jackfruit, tomatoes, spices and served with cucumbers, raw garlic and onions. You get to pick your choice of protein, and we picked chicken. For this dish, I could not easily differentiate between the jackfruit and the chicken since everything is all minced up. The thai tea was good. Overall, the food itself was not too heavy and they have thai dishes we normally don't see on menus which is nice. Would definitely come again and try more dishes.

Their lunch specials are also a fantastic value with generous portions. Service: Friendly, attentive, accommodating, and efficient. The staff does an outstanding job, especially during the busy lunch rush, making sure guests are well taken care of without feeling rushed. Atmosphere & Cleanliness: Beautiful decor, a warm and inviting ambiance, and an exceptionally clean restaurant. Whether you're stopping in for lunch or dinner, it's a comfortable place to relax and enjoy a meal. Overall: Weera Thai on Sahara checks every box: amazing food, excellent service, beautiful surroundings, cleanliness, consistency, and value. It's one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the entire Las Vegas Valley and a place I return to regularly. Highly recommended.

The waitress confirmed the order. When the bill arrived, however, I was charged for Roasted Duck Panang. When we brought this to the waitress's attention, the manager came over and insisted that I had been served duck. I explained that I don't order duck curry and specifically eat chicken. He then asked whether the meat was sliced or served whole. When I said it was in small pieces mixed into the curry, he responded, "Oh, that was duck." So not only was I charged incorrectly, but I was apparently served the wrong dish altogether. What was most frustrating was how difficult it seemed for the staff to acknowledge the mistake. If a restaurant cannot accurately take and deliver a simple order, it raises concerns for anyone with food allergies, dietary restrictions, or personal food preferences. Mistakes happen, but accountability and good customer service matter. Unfortunately, neither was demonstrated today. After more than four years as a customer, this experience has left me with no intention of returning.

Delicious food at a reasonable price, timely and comfortable service, and overall a beautiful restaurant. I had the Pan Sen Lobster and it was AMAZING. The space itself is inviting with stylish décor and a warm, modern atmosphere that makes it perfect for both casual dinners and hosting friends. Service is consistently excellent--attentive, welcoming, and polished every time we visit. Our Usual Order: 1) Garlic Herb Crispy Prawns - Hands down some of the best in the city. The prawns arrive perfectly crisp with a generous coating of golden garlic and herbs. Each bite has that satisfying crunch before giving way to tender shrimp. 2) Mango Crispy Catfish - A beautiful contrast of textures. The crispy catfish is topped with bright slices of mango and finished with a chili-lime dressing that ties everything together. The dish is vibrant, colorful, and bursting with flavors. 3) Crab Fried Rice - The rice comes generously packed with large pieces of crab and works perfectly alongside the other dishes. It's hearty enough to share. 4) Dessert here is as much about presentation as it is about enjoyment. The Mango Sticky Rice is beautifully plated, and the Egg Yolk Ice Cream is a unique treat that's rich and creamy without being overly sweet--the perfect way to end the meal. The wine list is surprisingly impressive for a Thai restaurant. We usually pair our meal with Orin Swift Blank Stare Sauvignon Blanc, which complements the dishes wonderfully. There's also a full bar, and the Lamaii Old Fashioned is worth trying--smooth, aromatic, and beautifully balanced. If you're looking for a spot with great atmosphere, attentive service, and dishes that are consistently well-executed, Lamaii is always a solid choice.

Let me tell you the food was even better than we imagined! I ordered a passion fruit iced tea to start and it was so delicious. I knew if I ordered one more I would've ordered them until closing time haha The service was great and the woman was extremely sweet when taking our order. The restaurant is very small and quiet, which we enjoyed because it felt like being in someone's home for dinner. There's a nice cabinet in the back with some family pictures and that was a genuine touch in my opinion. The true star of the show, however, were our chefs choice dishes. I ordered the crab curry noodles (Khao Soi) and my husband ordered beef brisket panang curry. We couldn't agree on who had the better dish because they were both so incredible. Mine was spicy, creamy, and perfectly balanced. Large amount of crab was included on top of how large the dish was fo begin with. Enough for me to take home and enjoy the next day. My husband's food beef was cooked to absolute perfection. The meat melted with each bite, we couldn't believe how tender it was. If you've debated on eating here, do it and don't hesitate! We have already selected our next meals for our second visit. Can't wait to come back and try more. I think we found our new favorite spot!
