Recently ordered for pick-up from Cotati location. As we arrived in the lot, the notification came in that our order was ready... right on time. As I entered, there were two visible staff members that both acknowledged my presence either verbally or with a nod and a smile. There was one person ahead of me at the pick-up counter. Their interaction with the staff member was friendly and efficient. On my turn, the staff member confirmed the order as we exchanged pleasantries. I was walking out with my hot order shortly thereafter. As I walked back to the car I noticed the picnic tables under the covered patio. I thought that it would be a good place to enjoy some pizza and beer with a couple of your favorite people. (They have trivia night on Thursday!) After a couple of minutes, we were back home. I went straight for a slice. Yum! We got the NY Summer Solstice + Zoe's Pepperoni. How does one even describe it? Crust was soft and slightly crispy. And the flavors... oh the flavors! This was our first time trying Acre and it won't be our last! It's already earned a top spot in our periodic local pizza rotation. Thanks Cotati Acre! May you live long and prosper! read more

I love the NY pizza, it's nice and thin, full of flavor. I can't typically eat pizza because the red sauce on other pizzas give me heart burn, too acidic. The sauce on this pizza does not. My family and I played pinball and the pool table is free to play. Pinball runs $1 on two machines, and .50 on another. My 12 year old and 16 year old granddaughters got their first introduction to pinball and they loved it. A great place, in door and outdoor for a couple hr outing, getting kids out of the house and away from their cell phones. We had a great time. The only reason I didn't do 5 stars is because I agree, the place is too warm inside, and they leave the door open which brings in all the flies. They should resolve that, recommendation is to install fans if no air-conditioning or turn on the airconditioning, and keep the doors shut to keep the flies out, or install a mesh screen to walk through. Other than that, my new fav pizza place! A bit pricy, bit most pizza is now days, prefer to pay a little more for a good pizza and a fun place to go. read more

Love this new location. First time stopping in. Ordered a slice for a quick meal as I was passing through. Had the funghi and it is out of this world. The crust is so delicious: crunchy, a little sour, thin and cooked to perfection. The mushrooms were so varied and matched perfectly with the cheese. And...I was expecting one slice--but their portion is two! I'm coming back (after the weather cools off) to enjoy the outdoor veranda--it looks so welcoming. And, I'm eager to try their square 'Detroit style". Oh, and they definitely make the pizza dough in house....while eating, I was enjoying watching the cook tending to the dough through various stages of proofing. A+ read more

Danielle once again took care of me and my military buddies. This is my 3rd time here and the ambiance was awesome, the team of workers were all smiling and greeted us as we walked in. While Danielle was covering at another location she still managed to take care of me and my team. The food once again was incredible. My 69th birthday was the other day. I had invited 20 people to join us for a celebration dinner. I went in 2 days before and chose a great variety of pies with the help of the staff. I stopped at Acre pizza today for lunch. Cute place with a wonderful outdoor patio. I ordered Margarita (sp) pizza. Great crust, nice sauce, lots of basil but hardly any cheese, I want cheese. It was expensive for what I got. If it had more cheese then the price would have been more acceptable. More cheese please, just a bit. read more

3 stars because the food here is undeniably fire. However, it sucks coming here and interacting with a staff that always treats customers like they are an inconvenience to them. Since the first review (admittedly a bit more negative than intended) we have been back to eat several times. Anyone can have a bad day, and I think that was what happened here. The service and food are back up to being very good, the staff are attentive and helpful. We did notice an immediate response to the concerns at the time, but we wanted to go over several visits to see if this rang true, which it has. This tells me that the management and staff listen and care. We will continue to go every week with our group, well done Acre! read more

I really wanted to like Acre Cotati. I have heard so much about the brand. The service was disappointing. I ordered online and when I arrived to pick up the girl looked at me, I smiled, she turned around and never welcomed me or said a word. She went about her work like I was invisible. I finally asked if I was in the pick up line and she said "yes". She finally asked my name and I got my pizza. There was a puddle of water inside the door, each of the staff stepped over it yet no one wiped it up. The pizza was mediocre...will not be retuning anytime soon. We have tried their pizza once when in Sebastopol. On Sunday we decided to place an order for pick up to get ready for the football game. We were surprised when we got there to pick up. The interior is beautiful, mainly all tables inside where taken because of the 49ers game. They have a nice patio. Their serve is great!! They greeted us from the moment we were at the door. Our to go pizza was ready but because of the great environment we decided to stay, eat our pizza and enjoy the game. That day they also had $5 slices and the best of all $5 pint beers. The crust is good. The new location in Cotati is really nice. The toppings are extremely light. We ordered four different kinds of pizza, meat lovers, margarita, cheese, and pepperoni. Huge expensive disappointment. The pizza had no toppings, a couple pieces of pepperoni and some sausage scattered around. So if you like pizza with good crust and very meager toppings you will like Acre. We will pass next time. read more

A friend and I ordered a Detroit pepperoni pizza as it serves 2 not-very-hungry persons. Upon asking for a side salad, I was informed the only ones available were pre-packaged and $15-16. My friend didn't want salad so I passed. At any rate I think the pizza was from the case, (not freshly-made?) The pepperoni was crispy, the cheese was crispy, and the crust was hard; there was very little sauce and not one moist spot on the entire pizza. The staff was okay, but the answer to every request was no. I didn't ask for a replacement pizza because the counter person had said, 'those are all the Detroits we have'. Whaaat? A pizza place can't make another pizza? So we paid $27 for 2 slices each of barely edible pizza; walking out, I commented to my friend "worst pizza ever, huh?" Being a man of few words, his reply was "pretty much". It's too bad because this place is near my home, and I drive by it most every day. But I will never ever go back there. read more

We are so disappointed in the Acre Pizza in Cotati. We heard such great things about it from other locations so we were looking forward to trying it in Cotati. The first time was great...but only the first time. The next several times we have either gone there or have had delivery were terrible. Very little cheese and incredibly burnt crust, so much so that it made the whole pizza have a burnt taste to it. We decided to give them one last chance last night and once again, black charred crust. There was very little edible in the whole pizza. It tasted burnt and had very little toppings on it, including cheese. How do you skimp on cheese on a pizza?! We are so disappointed in this pizza...we were so hoping this would be our new go to but unfortunately we will not be returning. read more

My wife and I enjoy the food and service at Acre. It's always a great experience. On a recent visit, we noticed someone hassling the manager about their seating and the rain. It was very uncomfortable. The gentleman in question was loud and intimidating. The manager, Danielle, tried her best to accommodate him in a very busy restaurant.
