5 Stars for Personal Service. 5 starts for flexibility.. if you want 2 crusts ( really double) they will make it. For Veggie.. which is all we usually get.. 4 stars. gussy is up with artichoke and it's even better.. This is consistently good. Not Gourmet.. but where you gonna get that !? They open at 10 AM.. so it is convenient to pick up a pizza while shopping. Since you cook it at home.. you get it the way you want it.. and it will be hot and fresh. They have some kind of bargain special everyday... but the regular prices at around $10 are impossible to beat. Unless you are an afficianado of crap pizza... that comes from the chain places, you will enjoy Papa Murphys. Local pizza on the higher end.. Such as Union Hotel, Mary's.. will push $30 for a medium, and wont be any better. Marys gives a consistant half raw dough.. but you can do that at home. Unfortunately Negris only makes a thin crust small pizza now.. not my style. The young man who generally makes our pizza has been there for years. Made a phone call to order a large and a Chicago style family size pizza on Wednesday after spending that day at Doran Beach. I haven't ordered in sometime, so I was surprised to hear the total of $51 however, I knew once I baked the pizza it was going to be worth it. Came home and baked both pizzas, right away I knew that the stuffed Chicago style pizza was lacking something, when my husband and I dove into our pizzas, we both realized that they put almost no ground beef, cheese, or sausage. Obviously there wasn't much we could do since we were back home in Napa County and calling the store wouldn't do anything for our sad pizza. I walked in, ordered the veggie with white sauce, i was told they were out of the white sauce but i could wait for them to make more. I agreed to the extra time needed. The young man goes in back to make the sauce . A minute later the young lady at the cashier goes in the back and starts talking and laughing to the other employee. She comes back out a minute or three later boasting on how happy I should be because she stopped the young man from making the white sauce because he was adding jalapeño peppers to it. She then informs me that they have no white sauce to make my pizza and would i like to make it another way like other people do using oil and something. I said no thank you, just refund my $22. I asked for a receipt showing the $22 credit. She said, sure, give her a moment. A couple minutes later she hands me a receipt, but it only shows the purchase, not the c credit to my bank account. I ask again for the credit receipt and she tells me she can't and the credit to my bank will happen in a day or two and they will notify me when it happens. There was no adult to talk to so I left. It's been three days now and nothing. I guess it's a good thing that wasn't my last $22 to eat with. Very disappointed to say the least. read more

I had never seen anyone take an artichoke heart, peel the leaves one by one, and then spread them around on a pizza like that. My dad went to pick up a pizza and got there at 11am when it opened. He went in the front door and no one was there in the front. He waited and yelled hello a few times with no response. He sat down and called in, and got an answering machine. He waited a bit longer ands called Sebastopol police to check the back part of the business. About 10 minutes later, after the police said everything was fine, an employee came in the front door to come to work 30 minutes after they opened. My dad explained the front door was not locked. It was the anniversary of my father's death and I thought on my way home I would stop and buy a pizza. Papa Murphy's has always been where I went for takeout pizza for decades. No more! They're in store prices are twice what the prices are if you order using their app. I ordered one medium pizza with one topping and some really bad monkey bread with garlic, and gave the clerk a 10% tip, and it cost me just short of $30. $39. for a bad pizza. A flavorless, bad pizza and horrible monkey bread. I will never ever go back nor will I recommend it to anyone. To charge your customers double the price as a walk-in is disgusting. In the past, I have used the app, but I have already deleted that. There are plenty of other places locally where I can get decent pizza. Papa Murphy's is not it. One thing I forgot to add is that when I walked into the store, I told the young man I was interested in the pizza that was $7.99. I wasn't sure what size that was. He told me it was a medium. At no time did he tell me that as a walk-in it was going to cost me $18. Had I known I would've turned and walked out and perhaps gotten into my car and used the app to make the purchase if I had been told that was the only way to get the $7.99 price. I have been craving pizza of some nature all week and I was not able to have any at the taste of Sonoma event today so I picked up a chicken, bacon and artichoke pizza here tonight and then my doctor did up at home with some added mushrooms and kalamata olives. It just hit the spot. We always order the same thing, the cowboy with bacon instead of sausage. They were running a special today the family size pizza was the same as the medium size so we went for the family size so that we could have leftover pizza for lunch the next day. We've always been happy with Papa Murphy's pizza with the consistency being the same each time. I wouldn't mind if they added more cheese as a rule, but it's good as it is. Let me start off by saying The food and the service here is absolutely amazing! The food always turn out so delicious no matter what I decide to get that day. I see a young lady always working in the mornings and she's always got a smile on her face and make the whole ambiance of the place over all good. I'm a loyal member of the slice rewards and love getting pizzas from this store specifically. I'm from Cloverdale but I've tried almost every papa Murphys around here and you can't beat sebastopol. They recently changed the Tuesday deals and I'm not a fan of that and have been struggling with the website. I called the store to ask them about it maybe 2 weeks ago and someone helped me through the process of what to do online and was such a great help. 10/10 read more

Well I guess due to workers shortage we have moved to hiring kids who have no idea what they are doing unsupervised. My wife just called, pissed off because she showed up there at 5:45pm on a Sat night and they said " oh, we decided to close early" and refused to serve her. Their posted close time is 8:00pm! This is just the last in a long list of horrible service, wrong orders, and the best one.... being told I had to drive 15 min back to their store because they charged me the wrong amount. This place is pretty busy whenever I've gone in and it's obvious they're understaffed. With that said, the staff is always very nice and accommodating. Today I went in and Levi was the only worker there. It was pretty busy and I could see he had a lot of orders stacked up. He still took the time to greet me and anyone else who came in, even though he was literally running back and forth to make the pizzas as quick as possible. The Sebastopol location has been a staple quick dinner option that we have enjoyed for years. Good pizza, good value, friendly staff. Tonight though, I stopped in, in the middle of a global corona virus pandemic, and at a time we are just beginning to open businesses, and found the woman in the kitchen wearing no mask, and no gloves. No regard for her fellow staff, or the customers. No business preparing other people's food. Owners need to provide better training and better monitoring of their staffs performance. read more

They have always honored expired coupons, but on super bowl Sunday when I opened two the person taking money studied the coupon and told me they decided to change their practice. Got a couple of pizzas tonight and when I got home noticed that one of the pizzas was wrong (chicken garlic not chicken bacon artichoke). I called the store to let them know and spoke with Sean who offered not a single apology and basically blew me off with a, "sounds like a simple misunderstanding". Went back to the store and returned the mistake pizza and asked for the correct pizza to be made. The lady behind the counter seemed really irritated that I would inconvenience her with this request, when she was finished she actually handed me my pizza and said, "your welcome"... Oh man this is a hard one to write as I did come here often. I went in on September 1st at 750. When I walked in the door everything was already cleaned up all the ingredients were put away and the two crew members were just kinda standing around. I asked one of the crew members if they were done for the night. He nervously looked at me and responded with "uuuhhhhhhh". At that point the other crew member whom I assume to be the shift lead jumped in and said " ya we close at 8 but we stop making pizzas at 745 and clean up." So I said ok cool and left. As I was walking out the door some other kids came in and walked up to the counter and said we want a pizza. The same person that told me the cleaning thing told him "well that's not gonna happen " so I figured the customer was just a jerk and the crew member was just being rude like she was to me but when I got in my car and drove out they were all just hanging out in the store. So basically what I get from this experience is this. The kids that were running the store that night closed up shop early so they could meet with their friends and leave AT 8. As a customer I have zero patience for restaurant with employees like that. To bad for you papa Murphy's because any time my family buys pizza we buy it there. Well used to. I've ordered from here many times, and every time has been a great experience. Everything seems fresh, and the employees are always nice. I love calling in a couple of pies at the end of the workday, swinging in to pick them up, and heading home, where my wife has the oven preheated. Sebastopol's Papa Murphy's is by far the worst Papa Murphy's I've ever patronized! We used to order pizza here 3-4 times every month and they always get our pizza wrong- every single time- and they're frequently out of toppings. If you call to complain that you didn't get toppings that you paid for the manager is less than interested in improving things. Now when we want take & bake it's well worth the effort and gas cost to drive from Sebastopol to the Cotati or College Ave location in order to actually get what we pay for. read more
