They have a no refund policy that is absolute. They do straight refunds and store policy only. My fault that I didn't see the 6"x 6" sign at the cash register stating as much but it blows my mind that a store could still have such an archaic policy. They're already over priced but I bought some snowboard pants and tried them on again at home deciding I didn't really like the fit after all. I returned said pants with all the tags on 9 days later was told I only could get store credit but I plan on NEVER EVER giving them my business ever again because it restricts its few customers too much. read more

The Sales people here always step it up and go the extra mile. I was helped by Sebastian. I could not make up my mind on a particular item and Sebastian offered to try the whole outfit on that I was going to buy so I could see what it looks like put together. Great sales support and I bought everything. Win win. Every time I go here the customer service is awesome. They can be pricey but they have a great selection of clothes, shoes and boards. read more

Came to return an item i purchased online and turns out they do not have a return policy. And only do exchanges and dont guarantee the same price exchange you bought for. Very inconvenient. Will not be purchasing from Active again due to this policy. read more

I was so impressed with Ethan, very professional, I had a concern with Eric from corporate office Who promotes all the events for active, he promised some of the children that he will mail out 3 skateboards and some goodies, and still to this day my son has not received anything, Ethan took the time to listen and he send corporate office an email in regards to the situation then two days later Ethan follows up with me, even though the situation has not been resolved I'm just so impressed how Ethan has taken the time to help and take care of this matter if anyone should be in upper management I highly recommend Ethan. I came here to buy some clothes for my husband birthday. I was helped by a young guy named Ramon. He was very helpful and kind. He knew everything about the deals and really made my shopping easier since I know nothing of guy sizes and styles. He showed me new lines that active has out. I bought 2 pairs of Active jeans , 2 t-shirts , and an Active button up. I don't normally write reviews , good ones at that, but it's not everyday you find a young man who genuinely likes his job and is good at it. I will come back for sure. Thanks Ramon! I drove over an hour to this location in specific to get an exchange that I was promised over the phone. I get there and the person who promised me the exchange said he could not do it. It was a brand new unworn item for a different size. Such a waste of gas and time. He also gave me an attitude about it which made all matters worse. I love Active Ride Shop but this associate in specific ruins their rep. Please don't waste my time and money. Easy as that. read more

My 1st time at this store, gotta say I was "Wow"...stopped by to look for snowboarding equipment, with no intent of buying, simply looking. Casey, manager at this store was super friendly, engaging & just genuinely knows his stuff on snowboarding gear. What impressed me the most was his genuine interest in giving me all the options from economical to your most expensive gear. To my surprised he wasn't pushing the most expensive items & provided the why...that's hard to find, he was considerate but had a clear explanation to the pros & cons when purchasing snowboard gear. His best assets, he was professional, showed personal interest in helping me understand all the options as I know nothing about this topic & gotta give him a high five on his keen salesmanship skills, he's awesome. I bought all the gear for my son who's b-day is fast approaching. I love the fact that he wasn't pushy which is a rare trait these days. He definitely knows how to truly communicate with people, heck I'd hire him as I am usually a tough buyer & just picky all around. Probably the best Active store I've been to in a long time. I used to shop here years ago until everything became way to expensive. Decided to give it another shot after a couple years and I had an awesome experience. I was greeted and helped by a young man named Casey. He actually recognized my son and I from us shopping at a zumies store in the past. He instantly was a ton of help! Every time I come here the staff are beyond nice however they never have any shoe size I need. Thought it was just my luck but I went with my boyfriend and they didn't have his size in about 3 different kinds of shoes. Only complaint I have. read more
