My 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ has a 4" lift and runs on 33's and has had a number of upgrades that allows me to enjoy a wide range of activities off the pavement, but for the most part I flat towed it behind my RV to the destination so the majority of the time I'm not directly behind the wheel. When towing any vehicle four wheels down its very important that there are no short cut taken when it comes to components and installation along with inspections and best practice maintenance. I noticed a slight vibration and rubbing like noise recently, after troubleshooting the issue it was obvious the front driveshaft was the culprit, after removing the parts and taking all the required measurements I got the Front 1310 [Heavy Duty Series] CV Driveshaft on order from Adams Driveshaft being they are the Industry Leader in Custom Driveshafts and with their exceptional customer service and expertise in the subject matter I was comfortable ordering the parts and have them shipped to Florida. Just an FYI for the novice Jeep owner you can drive your vehicle without this drive shaft but the four wheel drive option will be disabled, if you're not the one doing the work I'd recommend having a mechanic check things out before driving after removing this driveshaft. The new driveshaft arrived in perfect condition and it was a pretty simple installation. This Place saved us in time of need! We came out from Lake Havasu to do some shopping and I could tell my drive shaft center bearing was going out on my Ram 2500. I called them at 11:30 am, they said bring it in, had the bearing, u-joints and seals changed. They had to cut the drive shaft. Had is done in about 2 1/2 hours, had us on our way in one day! I Was charged 1600 to fix and fortify the driveline on my 17 year old son's truck and less than 2 months later, the driveshaft fell off on the freeway hurtling across three lanes of traffic and fortunately, only damaging the truck as opposed to causing serious injury or death to my son or another motorist. I am attempting to get my money back and compensated for.the damage caused to the truck, but am leaving this feedback also because their negligence could have killed somebody and people should be aware of that. read more

Had my truck serviced by Adams driveshaft. If I could put zero or negative stars I would. They charged me almost $1000 for a broken axle on a ford truck. The part itself was less than $300. Said they inspected my bearings and they looked good. Drove the truck 30 miles and gear oil started spewing out of the axle soaking my brakes. Managed to make it home, thinking it must be a seal that didn't seat right. Went to remove my hub assembly to find the axle housing had been damaged. The whole hub was lose. My dual rear wheels were wobbling all over the place. Fought to get the hub off. Four hours later after back breaking labor succeeded to find my bearings shredded. I should have fixed it myself. Now I've got to sink probably another thousand into it and I'm without a truck for another week or two. Thanks a lot Adams driveshaft! read more

I used Adams extensively when I owned my 93 GT. They were always friendly and helpful. Always called and asked me before proceeding and even showed me concerns. I had them Build me a custom Aluminum driveshaft, they replaced the entire rear suspension from stock to Hotchkis and I was ablate bring in the parts. They Upgraded all my bushings and replaced my rear gears 3 times as i am anal. from 2.73 to 3.73 then to 3.55 which was the best of both worlds. They were always reasonable and I had zero complaints over the 3 years I worked with them. If i should need anything for may newer vehicles I will be giving them a call. read more

I have a 2010 Jeep JK Rubicon and I've had Adams Driveshaft do just about all the aftermarket installs on this jeep. Which includes: Teraflex 6" long arm lift, Tera 44 front axle, monster breaks, trussed rear axle, every skid plate, Tera dual forged swaybar disconnects, bumpers, rocksliders AND I also have front and rear 1350's driveshafts which are custom made right at their shop and shipped worldwide. I wasted a lot of time trying to chase down a bad vibration that started at about 35-45 MPH on my 2002 Ford Excursion I felt it in the steering wheel and in the floor if I sat in the passenger seat or rear seats. I should have taken here in the beginning , they fixed the drive shaft issues and its driving smooth with no vibration again. Friendly people at the front desk and the mechanics were good guys that knew what they what they were doing.
