I went in to have them top off some oil and was directed across their pit. The person directing me told me to turn my wheel in the direction that ended up with my car, partially falling into their pit. They were unwilling to help I had to call my own AAA to have the car removed from their building. It was not drivable. They had broken a brake line. They popped a tire and damaged one of the axles I know this because I had it towed to my shop and they looked at it. My shop called the store. They were unable to help give them the number to a regional manager. His name is Ryan. Ryan has not returned. Any phone calls to myself for my shop. This is not the first time I've had negative experiences with Jiffy Lube. I transport disabled people for a living and ended up leaving people stranded. My girlfriend is a kidney transplant, failure patient and had an urgent meeting. I was not able to take her to stay away. read more

For what they offer I felt the price was fair, nobody tried to push me to get a bunch on extras done, just what was needed. Kyle went above and beyond today and with his stellar service & because of him I will now make this my go to place. We ran into a few minor issues and he absolutely crushed it. If he didn't have an immediate fix, he offered a good suggestion. I didn't feel like just another car to get through so he could leave. It was damn refreshing and a good change. Please don't give them your business! I explained to them that I was about to leave on a 1,000 mile trip to California and clean windshields were very important for safety purposes. They reassured me that wipers were good and filled with fluid and they WERE NOT! It was very dangerous driving with dirty windshields when there were no stations nearby. They don't care. I used this Jiffy Lube since 2019. NEVER AGAIN! Took my car in for an oil change and the technician told me that my brakes were dangerously low at 2 mm (later told his supervisor he checked it through the holes with a flashlight) and offered to fix them for pretty cheap in a record amount of time. I was a little suspicious but also wanted to make sure it was done right, so I told him I would take it to my regular mechanic. My regular mechanic told me 8 mm, plenty of pad. When I reported this to Jiffy Lube, the supervisor called me on the Saturday. He said he would talk to the technician on Monday when he was in. I called again on Thursday, and he claimed technician had been sick for three days. Then he finally called me back saying that the technician had "made a mistake." When I asked about the $70 brake inspection fee I got charged at a real mechanic, he did not take responsibility for the mistake. Like all Jiffy Lubes, this place always tries to upsell, but this was clearly incompetence at least, outright lying at worst that cost me money and they did not take responsibility. read more

This place is ridiculous and the staffs in this place are rude. My dad went in for an oil change today. The staffs didn't tell him how much was the oil change and when is done, the bill was like a hundred something. I called and asked why is it so much, he said the customer should know how much the price is and because he doesn't speak English, we can't communicate anyways. For someone doesn't speak English, you can just not showing him the price ahead of time, don't even explain to him. He can call and take picture of the invoice or price to ask for family for help. I was treated so rudely here by Tyler today. I wanted to stay in the car during the oil change and he said it is against the policy. That's okay. No problem. But the way the conversation went with Tyler was just so unnecessarily hostile and rude. I said I was surprised because I had always stayed in the car before and wondered when the policy had changed. He said "if you don't like it you don't have to get your oil changed here" and "don't use our business if you don't like it" in a rude and sort of aggressive way. I felt shocked and verbally attacked by his tone. I never used a rude tone or refused to go inside. I was going to just take his advice and leave but I had a brake light out as well as needing the oil change. So I parked the car and went inside and talked to Cody. Cody saved the situation by being civil and helping find a coupon for my oil change. I didn't want to go into it with tyler but the reason I had questioned the policy at all is I injured my back recently and getting in and out and sitting in the lobby is difficult. Whatever pleasant service and halfway-decent prices this place may have, enough to entice me to return, were made completely irrelevant when these idiots either overinflated my tire or forgot to screw the damn cap back on. About an hour later, my tire is flat... and the screw is loose... right after they serviced it. Coincidence? I think not. I'm now out $90 - or over $200, if I choose to take up *their own quote* to replace said tire, even after they flat-out denied any wrongdoing on their end. I've brought both my vehicles here. A 2015 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro and a 2014 Honda Civic. Sure I can change oil and other fluids on my own but it takes time. The team over Here is consistently friendly and helpful. Today our Civic started having some transmission issues, since we just had it serviced at this location I wanted to go back there forst before I went anywhere (because theyre always straight gut forward with me) they took 2 hours out of their days to help me identify a cause and solution for this issue. I'm being lenient and understanding with this review. I came in because my truck was overheating. They were quick to see the obvious which was that my radiator was leaking and replaced the radiator rather quickly, considering it was way overheated. But what they didn't do was offer to replace the thermostat and I ended up coming back to have that done. They also never mentioned anything about the gunk that was built up in the old radiator and water system. After the radiator and thermostat replacement the truck still was overheating so I took it to another place. They did a pressure check on the fluid system and came to the conclusion that I needed a head gasket. Head gasket had been ruled out by this Jiffy Lube previously based on my observations and the behavior of the truck. Jiffy Lube did not test my fluid system. They did not replace my thermostat on the first visit. It turned out that the water pump had gone out and this was the original source of all my problems. This Jiffy is fine for the basics, plus a few others, but for my own sanity I will be going to a real mechanic shop from now on. read more

Time for an oil change- friendly crew here- so I am a repeat customer. Clean, warm and comfortable waiting area with magazines for women to read- not just men's car ones. With that said, upon pulling in from Powell it was a very narrow entryway and an employee was talking to somebody in a car where the bay exits and I could not get around and I waited to see if they would move but instead the employee walked away with the doors open went back into the bay and then came back and then he was talking to someone in the backseat. From what it look like it was maybe a family visit but considering the tight squeeze maybe it's a better option to have those family visits where customers are not pulling in. Once I was able to get around and come to the every dude if the bay I was happily greeted by James - however he didn't seem very happy with me when I turn down the high mileage oil (yes I have an old car with 200000+ Miles) and went with conventional for my signature series. I explained that because I'm here also to have my brake fluid changed as well, I need to go with a lower priced oil. I also suggested that it's not a great idea to have employees visiting in an area where a person cannot drive by. He just brushed it off when I inquired it was an employee. James assured me my service would be fine in no time at all. My inspection of my vehicle went as usual- I appreciate the knowledge of things needed. James doesn't like to be told "not at this time" - and his mannerisms changed a bit when I would have to say no. Overall nice guy though. Total time for oil change, new battery, a lightbulb and brake fluid was just over 45 minutes. My car was nice and vacuumed when I got it back and somehow my radio station and clock were the same. Typically I would give a 5* but disappointed in the starting of the service. read more

DONT DO IT!!! Came in for an oil change and brake light replacement. They forgot to do the brake light replacement until I asked about it while checking out and not to long after I left my oil filter fell off causing damage (they put the wrong part on for a different car). They "replaced" the engine with a used one and sent me on my way. They said they would pay for my rental car which I have yet to receive reimbursement on & now have to go get another. Got my car back drove it for a week and it broke down AGAIN with the same issues. Now I have to pay to have it towed back to the shop so they can look at it!?!? I'd give them 0 stars if I could! Of course no one is in today including the manager so I have to miss MORE WORK to take care of their mistake. This will now be the second time I've missed work to deal with this. Despite the negative reviews on here that are probably written by a computer or a paid subject, these guys are by far the best and i will always trust them. Been coming here for years and i watch them work every time i come. They do good work, clean up after themselves, and most important they will tell you if something is wrong with your vehicle. Whether or not you want to fix the problem, that is entirely up to you. They do not "push services" on you, or tell you something is bad if it's not. Ok this is what happened I normally change my own oil and my girlfriend, I've been sick and then I hurt my foot so I have been unable to do mine or my girlfriends oil change. Well I took it in to them for her (she was really over due she has a 2016 Nissan rogue with 7800 miles on it) So it's not like it would need a heck of a lot I took in my own oil and filter I was expecting to pay maybe $20, they charged me $36.95. I'm still trying to figure out besides draining the oil and putting oil back in they really didn't do anything. I didn't get the inside cleaned or the windows done (my choice for I was in the vehicle with injured foot) I thought they might at least wash the outside windows, but they did not. I WILL NOT GO BACK...... This is a total rip off... Will be contacting corporate or at least the manager there... Update I talked to the manager they only discount $1 something for the filter $3 fo my own oil... It would of been cheaper to go to Nissan and had the oil changed...... read more

I had had my oil changed at a different Jiffy Lube and my car began to make a rattling noise a couple weeks later. I took it to another Jiffy Lube to see if my skid plate was loose because that's what I thought it was. They did reattach it and the car continued to make noise. I thought the skid plate wasn't properly attached so I stopped by the Jiffy Lube at Powell and Jake double check the skid plate and said it was completely attached. I asked him why my car was still making noise and he investigated further. We took a ride so he could hear the noise because there was nothing we could see obviously loose or making the noise. Jake took time and listened to the noise and was very curious himself and was very motivated to figure it out. We went back to Jiffy Lube and he did some further research. He did a great job of going through what it may be in a methodical manner. Within a short period of time he determined it was my passenger side front axle. He took his time to show me what was wrong with the front axle. He gave me a quote which was very reasonable. I called around and found that two other places wanted $100-$200 more for the same service and they quoted me a much longer time to fix it. I really appreciate Jake's time and effort and knowledge. I will be going there tomorrow to get it fixed and I will update this review then. As for now I am very impressed with this Jiffy Lube and this will be the only Jiffy Lube I will be going to from now on. I didn't have the best experience at the first jiffy Lube that I went to in Northeast on Broadway as they were not very nice. I'm super excited to find people I can trust and I believe that this will all work out in my favor with getting the part fixed all. Jiffy Lube is lucky to have Jake and so am I. Update I received the new axle on my front right side and everything went perfectly. It was even a bit less than I was quoted. Only $6 less but I thought that was very honest and much appreciated. All the people at this Jiffy Lube are very professional and informative. I will be back. I even tried to tip Jake and he said no to the cash tip of $20. Wow they keep impressing me. read more
