3 hours from home for our daughters soccer game on a Saturday night. Our check engine light started flashing. We got the problem diagnosed at the closest auto zone and called Jiffy Lube to see if they could get us in to fix the issue 15 minutes before their closing time. They were super friendly and welcomed us in. They stayed after closing to get our problem fixed so we could get back on the road and home safely. I went to this location about a week ago. I went because they had a $25 off coupon. After the coupon it was still almost $85. I was told my car was finished except they were putting on my skid plate. I sat there for several minutes while they were "putting my skid plate on". As soon as I left, my car was rattling, which it has never done before. My husband looked to see what was going on and found that the skid plate was reattached with two zip ties. This is insanity. I will never go back to any Jiffy Lube after this. Beware if you do. Between the price, and the total disregard for having you leave with your car put back together correctly. I could only imagine if I had them do anything more involved. Terrible. My husband is now having to go to Honda to try to get replacement bolts- TO HOLD MY SKIP PLATE PROPERLY TO MY VEHICLE. It's leaking oil in my driveway and the oil doesn't even appear to be changed. I just called the store and spoke to STORE MANAGER ROBERT who refused to do anything to correct this without me bringing my vehicle back to them. I will NEVER go back to a jiffy lube. Umm, they wanted $35 for a tire repair and told me AFTER they had repaired my tire. Tire repair due to a screw causing a slow leak... For reference these are the quotes I got.. after I thought how ridiculous that price was and they already repaired my tire! ‍ Costco: $11 Les Schwab: $14 Meineke: "maybe $9 or so" I will NEVER GO BACK HERE! Went in for an oil change. They noticed I had dangerously low front brake pads and said they could slap on a new pair for a couple hundred. I had planned on heading to A Popular Tire Shop Chain afterwards for a tire rotation and figured I could just deal with brake pads there, but called ahead to see what they would charge. Les Tire Shop said they wouldn't replace pads but wanted to rebuild my entire brake system and wanted over 2x the amount of money Jiffy wanted. Needless to say, I skipped the Tire Shop, added on a set of brake pads to my order along with a tire rotation and Cory hooked it up with a coupon at my friendly neighborhood Jiffy Lube. read more

Went here today after driving by the 6 car line at the 39th and Hawthorne location. No line! I had a sleeping baby in the car and all the guys were super sweet and accomodating, making sure that he stayed asleep the entire time. I got everything I needed (oil change, DEQ diagnostics test) and MORE (windshield wipers and brake lights put in, windows cleaned etc.) for a super reasonable price. NEVER go to this place! I went here for a while and they never did what I asked and always pushed for an upsell. Last time they up sold me a new air filter, turns out they didn't even put it in!!!! I'm at the jiffy lube on 92nd and Powell and they told me. What the HECK. I'll NEVER go this place again!!! - EDIT: I talked to Mike, the district manager, and upped this review from one star to three stars. Mike did not tell me to do this, but he did offer me a lot to help me out A lot and offered for me to go to a better location to get the help I need. He also is going to contact this store and talk to them about all of the different things that I didn't put in this review that I thought were questionable. This place over tightened my oil filter so badly that another jiffy location in Cali cannot remove the cap without breaking a whole piece of my car off. I called and spoke to the manager Rocky Kap and he was absolutely disrespectful, refused to be held accountable. He actually had the audacity to tell me he "hears this excuse all the time" that "people claim we over tightened it and they probably tightened it before removing it." If you're hearing this all the time, it's basic logic, you have a training issue. This is the most uncaring manager I've ever spoken to. He actually sat here and raised his voice to me telling me how it was my fault I "didn't bring the car in within warranty". So Rocky here actually expects customers to do an inspection of their car for him to take care of his customers and get the job done. This would not be something a customer would even be able to check until the next attempted oil change. I've worked in retail for several years and I can tell you I would never disrespect a customer this way. I know what cost and retail are. I know the cost of labor and parts compared to what a customer ends up paying, and it would be so much more beneficial to keep your reputation and just do the right thing. The right thing to do would be to say you're gonna get that fixed straight away free of charge, not to sit here arguing about how it's somehow my fault. By the way, if you think it's ok to go to cheap oil change jiffys cause they'll take care of you? They won't. If you complain to corporate, it goes to the owner, and if the owner doesn't want to be held accountable for their error, you have to take them to small claims to make it right. read more

Very predatory Boyfriend took car to get oil changed. They told him there was no coolant and the radiator needed to be flushed. That the oil, power steering, and transmission fluid was off stick, brake fluid was 4% condensation and "You have no car at the right level through the whole vehicle". Stated it would cost $900 to fix and they could do it all for me. When boyfriend came home I looked it all over (because I actually know about cars) - coolant low, yes so I added coolant. Everything else was at proper levels. So I "fixed" my car for the cost of a jug of coolant (which I already had). read more

ATTN JIFFY CORPORATE! (STORE ON 82nd and Division) I had my car serviced on 4/16 around noon and I sat there watching this ("higher up manager" or whatever he was) BARKING ORDERS to the employees. The dude had a buzz cut and was wearing a blue polo type shirt. Almost every statement he made was short or rude. He walked right by me like he had tunnel vision. I DON'T need some over dramatic fake customer service convo, but this guy seemed to not really care about the business. I have worked in customer service my whole life and have NEVER seen someone come in and BELITTLE THE WORKERS IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS for so long. The overall morale was low in there and I could literally FEEL the tension in there. (((Let me just say that The EMPLOYEES and ON SITE MANAGER WERE SO NICE AND HELPFUL amidst this crap!))) It was so bad that I made a comment to the on site manager like, "What the heck kind of person comes in like that? (I used other words, but we get the jist)...THEN! Mr. POLO shirt says, "You guys have no sense of urgency!" I'm not a car guy so I respect an honest opinion.. My car broke down 3 times in one week, smoke billowing out of the hood due to a bad belt and AC ceasing up that was causing resistance. I was having a tough time getting to work and had asked the manager what he can do to get my car running. After work hours, the manager (Dylan, great guy!) had driven to my house in Vancouver, and spent 15+ minutes under the hood advising me and figuring out a solution. The serpentine belt had snapped and so he's offering that free of charge because of warranty. He lined up a tow truck to scoop up my vehicle in Vancouver. He's ordering the part and installing it so the solution of the tow and fix was all within 1 business day. I was just told that there won't put conventional oil in my Jeep and that I have to run a synthetic blend which is not true. He refused to put conventional oil in my car. I used to work at a Jiffy Lube so I know he was just Trying not to hurt his ticket. He basically forced me off a lot and this is why I always tell people to never go to Jiffy Lube. read more

Post-COVID-19 update to my last review: Got an oil change at this location a few weeks ago and was disappointed that the few employees that I I interacted with had their masks hanging down below their noses. In addition, the one main employee I spoke with tried to upsell me on an air filter replacement and then seemed annoyed when I declined. Sorry guy, but I'm on unemployment. I had get an oil change, & owning a VW V8 I knew it would be costly. This was my first experience at a jiffy lube where I didn't feel like they were filling my head with nonsense crap that "may or may not be" wrong with my car just to see how much money they could get out of me. Devin was the assistant manager helping me, he informed me of possible issues with my car without trying to get me to spend more money. Was able to inform me about things I did not know & gave advise to avoid future issues. I was in and out within 30 minutes. Okay, so I know it's kind of weak that I pay to get my oil changed. Sorry. i'm a horrible feminist. Nonetheless, I've had nothing but good experiences when i come here to "git 'er done". The staff are usually young, but seem to know what they're talking about. They are somewhat like car salesmen when I go in for an oil change and they tell me twenty things I SHOULD have done to my car. Often times, they'll offer decent discounts on services when I do decide to get them done. But they're also very understanding when I say I could only scrounge up enough dimes and quarters for the oil service. There's free coffee, television (poo), and magazines to peruse in the small waiting area while the car's being serviced, which is usually a quick process. Last time I went in, they noticed two small chips on my windshield, called my insurance company to get an authorization, and fixed both chips for me free of charge. Neato! And generally, two days a week, you can get your oil changed for less than twenty bucks. Yeah, i'm a fan. read more

I'm a bit surprised by the negative experiences - I used to go to Oil Can Henry's and, out of desperation because of lack of time, I pulled into this shop. I ended up getting amazing service at a fraction of the price I'm used to paying so went back again. They seemed to almost remember me from months prior and their records were great. They only use Pennzoil :( Also, they lowered the air pressure in all my tiers. They told me "we adjusted your tire pressure" then when i got in my TPMS light was on and all four of my tiers were visibly low. The help here makes you want to go home and double check everything they touched, pointless. read more

The technician noticed the oil was clean and the level was good--no driving during lockdown so time had passed. She topped off all the fluids for me and didn't charge a thing! OVER PRICE for oil change $$$107 I used to get oil change at this store(#2048) from last couple years. But I felt very disappointed about it this time. The service is horrible and the new manager was rude and he doesn't allowed online coupon for the service. After I got oil changed and I went to other jiffy lube location. I asked them how much for oil changed and they told me that it cost $86 with online coupon. From my experience, I just want to be aware of few things: 1.Ask how much before you get service 2. Okay I've been here a few more times since that last review. I want to update this to reflect the level of service. I've had great experiences here. I think I met the owner one time and he opened my car door for me (pre-covid) which was a nice gesture. It's always quick to get in and out. They do uspell, but they're things that make sense for your car and your mileage, with visual aids. After my last visit, they recommended a new air filter and showed me mine which was somewhat dirty. The bathroom is always clean and the people are friendly. I guess I was comparing the experience here to when I would just DIY (for $20 and 30 min in my own driveway, on my own schedule) but as I've grown older there are more things I'm willing to outsource from my own laziness and apt a bit of a premium for. Jiffy Lube is great. The only improvement I'd like is if it was closer to/attached a convenience/grocery store (like Walmart's auto center) where I could do my grocery shopping while I waited. Not their fault, but still a good, quick experience. read more

Absolutely deceptive practices are being carried out at this location. One of the mechanics told me that my battery is needing to be replaced immediately. I purchased my battery less than 3 months ago. I went to a battery place and was told that this is still perfectly fine. Interestingly enough 3 other people went to the same battery place saying this location said they needed to replace their battery. read more
