Started with deviled eggs which were beautifully presented but salty and disappointing. Next had the fried chicken thigh tikka masala with rice which was salted properly, the breading was tasty but the rice and veg were uninteresting. The flourless chocolate cake was the highlight, good texture and properly rich chocolate taste

Goulash with mashed potatoes and cucumber salad.

Hadn't been to Adelle's in a long time, so we decided to give it another try. The pork belly appetizer was delicious, sweet Asian chili flavor. The crab cakes were good. The burger was cooked perfectly and very tasty. I tried the Oktoberfest special, Goulash with mashed potatoes, it was delightful, the cucumbers with sour cream was a perfect accompaniment. Give Adelle's a try for Oktoberfest!

In my second visit to Adelle's, they hit every high point possible! Enjoyed a light and refreshing Aperol Fizz at the bar with a couple deviled eggs while waiting for our friend to arrive for dinner. The bartender was fast, friendly and knowledgeable; the cocktails were terrific! The restaurant was mostly empty but that was helpful in terms of keeping the volume down. We enjoyed the Asian ribs appetizer; 6 hearty. ribs full of sesame and soy flavors. I ordered the Parmesan chicken with cheddar potatoes and grilled asparagus; it was a bit spicy but very delicious, and the asparagus was perfect! The staff was attentive without ever being intrusive and they brought us water and drinks all throughout the meal. Very friendly and guided us to good choices on wine and desserts!! For dessert, I had an affogato and they made it decaf for me--still so good, and they gave me a a generous scoop of vanilla gelato!! It was my friend's birthday, so they gave us little glasses of champagne to toast her and a little limoncello after dessert, too!! So much fun!! Plus everything was delicious. Thanks, Adelle's!! It was a great evening!

Here is what to know if you want to ever come to this restaurant 1. It's an American cuisine: American people, American environment, and American lifestyle. If your not American just like me you will stand out 2. The service is REALLY slow. 2 hours for 5 dishes when there were just a couple of old people with their families, seriously. 3. The food is too expensive. For 5 dishes the cost was 150$, averaging each meal being 40 dollars 4. Waitresses are kind: A man served us water about 5 times in 2 hours, so that's a positive. 5. Food is delicious. Definitely worth some of the cost and the long waiting time. 6. The restaurant is old which shows that the chefs are experienced but it should've not tooken them 2 hours for 5 dishes. That's everything you need to know about this restaurant. Not bad. 3/5 is fair. I probably won't. One here again this restaurant is mid tier against other restaurants.

Our wedding anniversary place. Can't afford it every week but great for special occasions. And they have Triple Karmelite on tap!

The bartender (I didn't catch his name, but had brown hair and facial hair was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I was waiting patiently to be served - not saying a word - and finally he came by me and raised his voice to me in a disrespectful tone saying that he is not serving me because he came by me twice and I wasn't paying attention. So, I waved to the other bartender who was female and she politely served me. I also found out that same male bartender kicked out two other friends of my friend I was with for no reason. Plus, when I reconciled my receipts the next day, I discovered that in my "not paying attention," they handed me two other receipts to sign which totaled about $80.00. (At the time, I thought maybe they were just helping each other out with ringing my order up) There's NO way I ordered that much, because it was SO crowded, I couldn't get served more than once, so that's why we left. So, basically I was robbed $80.00, because I wasn't "paying attention." Both receipts say "Potter's Place," even though we were upstairs at Two-Nine, and that's what it says on my credit card statement. Potter's Place was closed downstairs. I have one receipt that makes sense to what I normally order that says "Two-Nine". So on my credit card statement, I have one charge that says "Two-Nine," then two that say "Potter's Place." They scammed me. NEVER again.

The spot itself is decorated beautifully. Indoor and out, this was very well thought out. It is a cute yet sophisticated place to grab coffee (or adult drinks), get some work done, or meet up with a few friends and just enjoy. The outdoor patio is beauuuuutiful. If you look at photos before it was a patio, wowwwww. It needed a lot of TLC and that is exactly what it got. I stopped in during a weekday morning and asked the staff member what was the most popular coffee drink. She said it was the amaretto latte which I did end up ordering. This is probably the only coffee place that carries amaretto syrup. My advice? Get it, you might not be able to try it anywhere else. It's nutty, sweet and delicious. Prices are on the higher side, however, it's a small and locally owned coffee shop. I might be wrong but this might actually be the only small and locally owned coffee shop in Warrenville. Great selection of cocktails and all sorts of seasonal drinks and specials. Mixologists here are highly trained for what they do and are great with their customer service. I love that their menu changes so often each season with so many different drinks to try and they are all super inventive. I also love that they sometimes put fun little items on the drinks, such as a page from a book, a temporary tattoo, or a piece of candy. This time, they had their spring 2026 menu. I looked at their Instagram page before coming and decided exactly what I wanted. It's so fun how they write a little story to go along with each cocktail and the thought process behind it. It definitely makes the drinks feel more personal and special. We started off with the Rose Tico Conundrum (very sweet and came with a little piece of raspberry candy) and Pepe Silvia's Pickle Party Plot (really delicious, was surprised by this one). Next we tried the speciality API month drink called Gratitude in Bloom (tasted very gingery and lemony, almost like a healthy tea drink) and the Springtime Thought Crime (very strong with a hint of cherry). There isn't much seating so it's not great for huge groups but I think there is a patio. It's a pretty casual spot and great for just hanging out. The music is loud but the vibe is fun. The bartenders and servers are always amazing and super attentive. They do not serve their own food, but I think they have a food truck sometimes that you can order from and they'll bring it to you. I could be wrong about that, but the people next to us had tacos brought to them on paper plates, which looked delicious.
