This was my third trip to Adem's to have my car smogged. I was the second person to review him back in 2009 but I moved out of the area and have used him for the last two registrations after moving back. The best thing about Adem's is Adem! He is very friendly and goes over and above the basic smog test service. He filled my low tire, checked my fluids, and gave me some advice on a loud power steering belt. He doesn't do any other services so there is no motivation for him to point out anything that needs to be addressed. His waiting room has comfortable couches and a giant coffee table full of magazines with National Geographic as the dominant publication. However, I have never had to wait for service when I've visited him so I've only had the chance to read one article. If you do a yelp check in and take advantage of his discount through yelp you will pay $48.00. He has one price, and that price is out the door with no added fees. It's a rare thing in this day and age to get good old fashioned friendly and efficient service! read more

Love this place already! I got here late, as he closes at 5 (according to Yelp) and I ended up arriving at 5:02 (I got off work at 4:30). It's definitely confusing to get here. like others have said, the entrance is actually off of Almaden Road so don't follow your GPS or iPhone trying to find it. Prices are low for a smog test. 48 bucks! Also the owner Adem is extremely nice. He heard me listening to the football game on the radio and came over to turn on the tv and to get the game on. He performed the tests and then told me that there was a nail in my rear tire and suggested places to get it fixed. Overall, great service and price. I'll see you in 2 years Adem. read more
