Picture says families welcome..... YEAH RIGHT!!! Stopped in for some wings round 9 pm as my son was hungry. Place seemed ok. Was some live music in upper area so we sat up there. Ordered our food everything seemed fine until 65 year old singer threw a tantrum about kids sitting near him. And stormed off yelling about it. Keep in mind this is right after I watched him be an ultimate creeper giving "hand hugs" to some like 21 year old girls that were walking by him. Minute or so later a guy came up and said kids not allowed up there and told us to leave. There were no signs whatsoever saying that. If there was an issue why serve us in the first place?. If they said something right away wouldn't have been any issue. Any ways families steer clear. Wings were trash too.

We stopped here just for a beer after dinner while in town. They had live music that evening and the singer was a funny dude. We enjoyed our time there. It's definitely worth a stop.

Me and my parents were in town for the day and trying to find a quick bite for lunch. We also had our dog with us so we needed somewhere that had outdoor seating and wasn't packed. This place looked like a head outdoor seating, but it was closed that time. But thankfully, the waitress offered to put us back in a corner so we could still have our dog with us. She even brought a bowl of water out for him. It was typical bar food and had the vibe of a dive bar. The staff was super sweet. The french fries were my favorite. Perfectly crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside.

More classic rock than Irish music. Lots of inside seating and balcony seating. Live music. Mostly bar type food offerings. Not a wide range of craft beers on tap, but some local breweries offered, Sam Octoberfest, and main stream beers. Outstanding specialty cocktails. Place is jumping in season. Motorcycle exclusive parking up front.

Let me start off with this definitely a place you're eating at for a quick fix and wanting to drink. With that being said, the food was on par for a bar. We got the grilled chicken sandwich and a Rueben. They were both good for eating dinner at 9pm. Our waitress was very nice and checked on us as needed and the food was brought out fast. Duffy's has a few different floors and on Thursdays they have karaoke on one floor, we went to the top floor and there was a live singer. He was very good and we enjoyed our time there. FYI if you don't like loud music when eating dinner definitely sit downstairs for dinner and come up top for drinks after. There's a bar where you can just get drinks. Overall, not a bad place and not bad pricing for a few beers and 2 entrees.

Food was amazing, the sweet potato fries we're my favourite, it's a very good place to visit if you're on a trip to somewhere like Canada or maybe somewhere else

Duffy's is an old staple in town, can't go to LG without stopping in for a cold beer, three bars and entertainment daily, staff is always on point and friendly.

On arrival to Lake George for a family vacation we decided to go to Duffy's for a late lunch. Folks have recommended it for the bar scene, but not the food, and they were right. Aside from the fact that three of things we ordered were not available, the service was just okay. I will say that the wings were really good and my husband did like the fried seafood. However, our bill was around $250 for four adults and two children which was insane for what we received. This place is not worth the money. If you want a great view and excellent food & service for about the same price (drinks included), check out the Boathouse. What a difference! I think this place is probably an awesome venue for beers and a view, but not much more.

McDonalds style Honey Mustard...you need to do better Duffys!

Used to live this place as it felt like a local dive - now? Sky high prices for mediocre food. Went tonight. Bartender was meh - no complaints but not really into her job I guess... I know inflation is hitting everyone BUT - 8 wings for $16.00? GTFOH! $17.00 for a Reuben? GTFOH Get an overpriced burger and pay $3.00 more for fries! What a freaking rip off! Ck out my puctures - 4 chicken tenders and fries $13.00... 1 small crock of chili - $10.00! (No crackers, bread, nothin!) They arent hurting that bad - they are taking advantage, just like the rest of the LG restaurants. Tourist trap... I been coming to LG for decades and have always ffrequented Duffys... this will be my final visit. RIP Duffy's... I will now travel outside LG to eat out...

The menu is massive, and so you should easily be able to find something for everybody...unless that person is looking for something super healthy. The Lagoon has burgers, and pizza, and lobster boats, and fish and chips, and four kinds of mac and cheese, and the appetizer list consists of all the things, fried: brussels sprouts, mozzarella wedges, wings, and more. We ordered all three of those fried things I mentioned to start, buffalo mac and cheese, a pizza, fish and chips, a cheesesteak, chicken fingers and a Greek salad. Our server was super bubbly and brought us all the sauces and drinks and everything else we asked for. It isn't going to blow you away with their culinary innovation, but The Lagoon hits a certain spot, and can seat your whole party with a view. I'd do it again.

Ordered was the poutine, a turkey club, and the hot buttered lobster roll. I came here for the poutine, a previous review had been very complimentary. I was underwhelmed, the gravy was thin, the cheese and tenderloin scarce. I will give the fries credit, crispy and seasoned, they were a solid base. Being so close to Canada, I'd expect better. The club was loaded up with dry turkey and not enough mayonnaise to help balance that out, but again the tots were crispy and seasoned so they were a gem, possibly the best thing here (and that's not a compliment because they're clearly a prepackaged product). The lobster in the lobster roll was chewy and dry, the roll was crispy but it was as though they had made garlic bread with a hot dog bun, then shoved some sad lobster bits in it. The coleslaw was drenched in dressing, but bland enough that I ate it for some texture and filling after being left wholly unsatisfied by my roll. All in all, I get the impression this restaurant relies solely on the lake, and their proximity to giving you a view while you eat, almost entirely to distract from a subpar performance in every other aspect of restauranting.

Both of my experiences are extremely different. My first time here I came for dinner with a group of friends and we had a phenomenal experience with our waitress Sue. She had great table side manors, she was efficient, and she was so nice and pleasant to speak with. The food was amazing I had a grilled chicken sandwich- my only complaint is that the avocado tasted weird but I just removed it from my sandwich. My friends enjoyed their hot dog meal, pizza, & nachos. We had a wonderful experience and loved our waitress sue so we decided to come back the following day. Our second day here we came for lunch and had a waitress named Jess. She was absolutely horrible and had no table side manors and was extremely rude and bothered to be working with us. I feel she was also racist or judgmental towards her co workers. I asked for the bacon cheeseburger with no onion tomato lettuce, & her response was, "so you want a plain cheeseburger?" & she looked at me like I asked a crazy question. I responded saying well I want the bacon on it so a bacon cheeseburger. My friend, wanted a plain burger with only lettuce and onion, & Jess said," so you want a plain burger with everything on it?" I'm not sure how much more clear we could have spoken to our waitress. She was very nasty. She also made a comment that the cooks are Spanish and she has no idea how she will translate our orders to the cooks. That is not the customers problem or concern and should not have been said to us. Jess never checked in at our table to see if we needed refills, napkins, etc. We needed a refill on drinks, so we found a waitress nearby and were asking for assistance. Jess saw this and came running over & said, " she has no idea what you're saying she doesn't speak English." & she then proceeded to get our drinks. I couldn't believe my ears, how incredibly rude was that comment. Her comment felt very judgmental and rude. She had no class whatsoever. At the end of our meal she came over to us and told us the dollar amount of our bill and walked away. We had to ask for a receipt. Absolutely ridiculous. If I ever came back to this place I want Sue as my waitress!!!! Thank you Sue for your over the top service and friendliness!!!! Also fyi**** 18% tip is automatically included in your bill.
