Gave a one star HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service...when i wasn't pleased with service after a week and two days of going back n forth to this location employees weren't on the same page at all and I was told 3 different things about my car, they tried to convince me that I paid 540 for a radio...smh...owner Moe cursed at me before I could even explain why I was upset, I recorded the whole conversation and told him I would see them in court. That changed really quick an hour later he was ready to compromise and had a guy from Temecula come and install my bass...if you go to them watch them they told me they installed a couple of items and they weren't even installed in my car...my advice if you still go watch them work on your car record and save everything read more

Went in the other day for a quote and install on speakers the guy helping me was cool gave me a good price for the equipment and install, but when I asked him what the price was of each speaker he asked me why as if it bothered him of a customer asking a price. I guess people are just supposed to go blind when making purchases and not ask the price of things. I even looked at the name of the equipment and price checked to be sure he gave me a decent price. You know those Salesman always think people are naive to things they aren't installing themselves. So I agreed on the wait time it would be a hour before the customer was done and mine would take 1hr. An hour later he tells me your next pull your car up to the garage. As I'm leaving he leaves in his truck so I pulled into the garage and asked a installer if everything was ready, he told me I don't even know what you want done to your car. I then asked him if the guy in the front told him about my install he said he's out on lunch in which I did recognize he left in his vehicle. So I asked the tech if he and the salesperson had a understanding of my install he said idk Bro he's out on lunch I'll have to wait until he gets back. So you don't have a phone to call him I mean it was a pretty decent sale especially when the place looks like the Mohave desert nobody in the place. So this was strike one from the self announced install manager who was a heavy set Caucasian. Number one you don't acknowledge someone as bro in a professional setting. You're supposed to do more listening than talking as management. How can you not have any conversation with a sales rep if I'm next and your only 1 of 2 installers in the shop and I'm the only person in the store. The other tech was present and said nothing not even to ask what my grievance was and he was a older black gentleman I thought he would speak up but damn I guess that pay check is better than helping people. Heavy Caucasian man needs to get fired for his unprofessional ass calling someone bro. I see why every time you pass or go in the location there is never anyone getting work done because the place is garbage. Idk how that place stays open it's been shit since it opened I guess they survive on naive or despite folks. Good luck to anyone who chooses this unprofessional place. I hope the manager pays attention to this post and not brush it over as another complaining customer. First off I gotta say this place is awesome! When I first walked in to Advanced Car Stereo in Moreno Valley, I was like, "WOW, there's just about everything I could dream of to put in my car here." So I went there the first time to just get a few estimates on a new stereo, I wasn't even thinking of buying anything, the guy I talked to was extremely helpful and a super cool guy all around, Levi was his name. So anyways he gave me a bunch of estimates and I went to about 6 other audio shops. Long story short, I ended up back in Advanced Car Stereo. Now I live in Highland, there's plenty of shops around where I live but the customer service was by far the best at Advanced Car Stereo. So I had gotten a new stereo system for Christmas and I went to have it installed at ACS, I thought I had everything to just have them install it, but I over looked not having my wiring harness, he threw it in at a great deal. I also had the install kit but my sister got me everything and she doesn't know much about cars so of course she got me the wrong one, lol. Anyways, Levi, the guy that was setting everything up for me comes back and tells me they don't have the right install kit. So of course I was kinda bummed, but Levi said "just give me a few minutes, I'll run over to my competitor and see if he has the kit." A few minutes later BOOM. He got it for me at no extra charge and he went completely out of his way. now that's service! 20 minutes later I was stoked at how clean my new stereo looked. Went in to have my stereo looked at because it basically stopped working. Let me start with saying another shop was gonna charge me $75, but if it wasn't something they could fix they wouldn't charge me at all. That shop is Menos Stereo shop, go there first ! Anyways, I was greeted by Gabriel, when I joked and said I went to another shop first he said "why would you go somewhere else"? He advises me it will be $40 to look at. His guys in the shop look at it, and I'm told the stereo is bad. At this point, of course I expect them to try to sale me a stereo, which Gabriel does. He offers me a new stereo for $500 and says usually $700 with the installation, but since I has the wires and harness already he would charge me $500. I tell him I'll consider it and ask for his card, at which point in time he says "I don't offer this price to anybody, just you, and I can't see why you don't want to take advantage of it" okay dude. It's not like I'm just gonna take your word for it and spend $500 on the spot. Thankfully, I didn't. I got a better stereo than the one he was offering me and I only paid $361 for it. I installed it myself! Took 15 minutes. Oh the plus side, his staff was very nice. Don't go here unless you want him to pressure you into buying a stereo read more

I mainly came here because of the yelp reviews and the fact that it was kind of on my way home from work. At first I thought I was getting a great deal and excellent service since the manager Aaron was quite friendly and willing to help me with all my needs. I got a great quote for my car alarm plus power doors and windows added to my car. That to me was what closed the deal and I was even asking about stereo options I would like to do in the near future. The next morning I take my car in and they tell me they would call me when it was all finished. The day goes by and 45 min before the shop closes I get a call telling me that my car is ready but that they were not able to do everything they had quoted me in the price (WHICH WAS WHY I DECIDED TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM) and if I wanted the upgraded power doors I had to probably order a special part and pay extra for it because they couldn't do it. So this of course got me very upset since it was their obligation to let me know right away that they were not going to be able to do everything they promised before they installed the complete alarm system. This to me seems very shady because that way they could still charge me for the items they installed. Of course I wanted to speak to the manager but he was not in and I am going to have to return at a later time to speak to him. Then to top it all off on my drive home I find out that my cabin lights no longer work and that the controls on my steering wheel don't work either and that they slightly damaged a portion of my passenger door handle frame. Then the next day on my drive to work when a car cuts me off and almost hits me I find out that my car horn does not work either. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. I came to them with a request to wire in some under the door projector courtesy lights on my f150. Let's start with their lack of price matching. Every other business I had called was going to charge me 100 for the install, however had no time to do so. So what do I do? I call advanced car stereo. One of their employees says it's going to be $140-160 (not a straight answer, that should've been my first hint.) I asked him to price match the other stores, he states "it will be done and clean the right way and can be done today." So I drove on down and dropped the truck off. Well when my trucks in the garage, their "install man" is smoking a cigarette (in an enclosed building) with the doors of my truck wide open. He comes to me and says "is this your truck?" I said, "yes it is my truck." Mr install man says "do you even know how much work this is?" I was in awe that he asked me that question. So he gets into an argument with the sales employees about doing this project. (Should have been my second hint.) Needless to say, Mr install man installs the lights it takes about 3 hours. I come back to the store to pick my truck up. All the lights are wired in. I go home and find my firewall underneath the dash on the passenger side hanging down with the screw to hold it in completely gone. There's also a panel from my door latch laying on the back seat floor with a bolt next to it (God knows where it's from.) There was wiring pieces and other trash ALL over the ground, a panel removing tool (thanks for that by the way.) and my truck reeked of cigarettes. So I spent my day cleaning after this unprofessional stereo shop that somehow (lord knows how) has a name for itself. I'll be sure to not come back next time, thanks advanced stereo ;) read more

I vistited the Moreno Valley store today because I was having a problem installing a HAM radio that I had purchased elsewhere. No matter how I tried, I could not get the power connectors to mate properly. I figured that I needed to ask a pro installer to look at it. The installer took the time to look at my problem and quickly found a workaround for my mistake. About 8 minutes and I was on my way with the HAM radio working like a champ. I took my vehicle down their, they advised me that the radio they were installing would sound better then the factory radio., but the radio they installed wouldnt even work all my speakers and it sounded alot worse then my factory radio. when I called them and asked them for a refund they hung up on me. Then they tried to sell me more equiment so it would perform like my factory radio . I will never buy or do business with them again and I would think twice before you use their service. I had work done there in the past that I was satisfied with so despite the bad reviews, I went back. I made an appointment to get keyless entry installed on my new truck and was quoted a price. I showed up and the guy behind the counter quoted me $100 more than my original quote when I informed him that his price was higher than I had been quoted he told me that he would have to wait until "one of his guys" showed up to see if I didn't need extra parts that weren't included in my quote because it's a new vehicle and he knows they require extra parts that whoever I spoke to doesn't know about. When I explained that the last person I spoke to knew the make and model of my vehicle so the quote shouldn't change and I set an appointment which was now not even valid since there was no one available to actually do the work he just shrugged his shoulders and sneered "what do you want?" What do I want? That's customer service? I will never consider giving them my business again. He was rude and was trying to rip me off. I left and will NEVER go back!! read more
