HIGHLY RECOMMEND Sam Gonzalez! He treated a yellow jackets nest on our property in Corralitos, CA that was too big to tackle with store bought products. I have used Advanced IPM after moving into my home and discovering an undisclosed rat infestation by the previous owners over 4 years ago. We had an appointment today, Wednesday 13th, between 1 and 3pm. Someone named AJ was supposed to come out. Not only has no one not come out, but no one contacted me to tell me otherwise too. Extremely Disappointed with Advanced IPM - Rude and Misleading I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Advanced IPM was so unpleasant I feel compelled to warn others. I scheduled a termite inspection after being told they offer free inspections--great, I thought. No one mentioned any conditions or square footage limits, and they never asked about the size of my home. When the technician Chris arrived, the very first words out of his mouth were, "You are not getting a free inspection." No greeting, no introduction--just abrupt and rude. His reasoning? My house was "too big." I was stunned. Not only was his tone unprofessional, but the company had completely failed to disclose this supposed policy during scheduling. What's more, I had been surprised that Advanced IPM was the only company with next-day availability. Every other reputable termite company I called had wait times of several days or even weeks. Now I understand why--they're not busy. If this is how they treat potential customers, it's no wonder. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. Terrible customer service, and they lost my business before we even started. The person on phone couldn't even provide a ball park range of what it typically costs for ant pest control and just stuck to talking points that someone need to come inspect. I understand they need to do an inspection to give a custom quote but not even being to tell me if it's a $100 or a $1000 typically is crazy. These guys do a great job of servicing our home. We have them come out bimonthly to spray around our home for bugs. They are great at communicating with us, making sure which day is best for us, letting us know when they are done, what they did-which is usually de-webbing around the home checking for any signs of new bugs/nests, then spraying around home and anywhere else needed. The inside home is included as well, we just never do it. Rex Talens is amazing and has been the one servicing our home for a long time. Just recently Climmie Hines has taken over servicing our home and he is just as amazing. We have never had any problems with this company in all the years we have been with them. The service I requested was to get rid of all the rats in my attic. I am putting this at a one-star because this service did not work for me. Let me explain. Initially, when you get the request, they would put you in a subscription plan, a down payment of 950, and 100 dollars a month for a minimum of 12 months. This would guarantee that they would get rid of the rats in the attic. I was on this service for 18 months and the rats still have yet to be rid of. When I canceled my service to them and requested a conversation regarding the guarantee, they ignored my calls. The receptionist gave my number to the manager, he called me once but I was busy so I was not able to pick up. I called him back 3 times, leaving a voicemail each time, and have yet to get a hold of them. READ YOUR CONTRACT with them carefully as when the salesperson would say it guarantees to get rid of the rotten, but there was no wording of this! I will be having to reach out to other companies for my rotten problem as this was a literal waste of money! Within 18 months, one portion of my ceiling is tearing as it looks like the rats are nesting right above it. Any damage that was done by the rats during the service would not be covered or helped. read more

I made five calls to five places to inquire about fumigation. Advanced IPM by FAR exceeded the other in the professionalism, integrity, truthfulness and knowledge base of not only the sales rep but also the scheduler. Other companies I spoke to connected me with sales people who pulled answers to my questions out of their *ss. I know this because I sensed it, and when I pressed further, they admitted it to me. Furthermore, IPM had a no-commitment offer and didn't make me sign up for an in-person visit before I was even able to discuss the issue. Instead of making me wait around all day for the visit, they gave me a small window of time and let their inspector know when I needed to be done so I could pick up my children on time. When their pest inspector came, he was the NICEST, most sincere person, who was completely honest with me about what we needed (and didn't need). And he was also vastly knowledgeable about landscaping and keeping pests off my plants and flowers. He said he had previously worked with a Masters level horticultural specialist. If we encounter any sort of pest again in the future, IPM will be the first place I go to, for sure. read more

We've used IPM for pest control for our South San Jose home for 5 years now. We live near the foothills and there are TONS of spiders (wolf, brown recluse, black widows), cockroaches, beetles and more in our neighborhood. They hide in the bushes and inevitably always find their way in so we eventually bit the bullet and hired some pros. Our service tech, Climmie Hines III comes every month and we haven't had to do a thing since hiring IPM. The very few times we've called for any extra service, they've been incredibly responsive and courteous which is pretty rare nowadays. They've helped us with mice in the attic (setting bait and traps) for no additional charge and they even came back to check the traps weekly, also with no additional charge. She was always appropriately communicative, was always prepared, thorough and competent. More than that, if we ever expressed a concern, she was on it.
