We went on a Sunday afternoon and were seated in about five minutes for a party of two. The staff is helpful, friendly, and our waitress was great. We had the Club Novembreast, Juicy Bounty, which is a Bison Bacon Cheeseburger with a Bloody Mary and Watermelon Mimosa to drink. The burger was very juicy and not as heavy as a beef burger. I had to unhinge my jaw a few times to take a bite. The panini was crispy and delicious. Both drinks were very refreshing. This is our usual order and mostly delicious, at times it's made more firm than usual, and all depends on who made it. They serve it with freshly toasted French baguette. Service is good, but can be slower at times depending on how busy they get. We've tried a few of the sandwiches from their menu. This bakery is consistently wonderful and one of the main reasons we keep coming back for breakfast every Saturday. The owner is always friendly, and many of the staff have been here for as long as I've been visiting -- at least the past 10 years. What makes a restaurant truly successful is quality and consistency in both the food and the service, and they deliver on both every time. Unfortunately, the service has been lacking and hasn't improved. Their hours are 11am-4pm, but no one ever answers the phone, there's no way to make reservations, and planning ahead is frustrating. We even tried to ask about bringing a small cake for a birthday for a party of 10 and were brushed off. On our last visit, we were seated in a tight corner under a very loud speaker near the kitchen walkway. There weren't enough menus, and service was slow and inconsistent--we were largely forgotten. The Sunny Side Sandwich was absolutely perfect -- toasted just right, melty cheese, thick crispy bacon, and beautifully cooked sunny side eggs. Seriously, this sandwich alone is worth the trip. Mom is 90 so she ate one and I ate two..they were so so flavorful and delicious. They were no run of the mill tacos. The menu was endless with food items that we had a hard time deciding on what to order. We decided on the Happy Havana Panini and the Sunny Breakfast Sandwich, both were absolutely delicious and would definitely order again. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive and patient. The staff was incredibly friendly, even amidst the bustling crowd. The breakfast potatoes were some of the best I've ever had--seasoned perfectly! My omelette was delicious, and you could really taste the quality ingredients. The iced mocha was good but nothing special. The location itself is very pretty, it gives you cafe/bakery feel but is a full restaurant. While reservations aren't available, using Yelp helps minimize wait times once you arrive. I want to start this off by saying in no way shape or form do I want this to be taken disrespectfully or offensively. It took a week to be able to write this review and let me explain. Last week, I had just finished class around 10:30am and decided to go treat myself to some brunch so I chose to come to aeirloom. I understand that this restaurant has popularity and it is very busy, however, that should not excuse the fact that the service was absolutely dismissive. There is no other way to put it. I don't know if it was because I was just a party of 1, but I just seemed like dead weight to these workers and not even a customer. I was offered a seat at the bar since there was no tables available so I took it. 30 mins goes by and no one has approached me. Eventually someone comes up and offers me a menu. Mind you, this "bar" is literally the table where they put all their cutlery and cleaning products. I was very uncomfortable, I was sitting in front of a worker folding utensils and napkins and another worker next to me spraying cleaning products in the air. I genuinely feel like this probably exceeds at least 5 health violations no joke. My order was taken and I do not expect much at all as a customer trust me, but when I am completely dismissed or ignored it kind of annoys me because I used to work in this industry as well and I understand how to work under pressure when it is extremely busy. Regardless, I got my food which was the country style omelet and it was very very heavy on the stomach and the potatoes very cold. I get that I am a solo diner but I don't understand why only my food looked like that as I looked around and saw everyone elses delicious plates. I noticed two people that came and sat next to me and lets just say my draw dropped at how flirty and talkative the waiter was towards them. Like IMMENSLY TALKATIVE. I finally asked for my check and then the waiter finally spoke his first word to me and asked if everything was alright and hoped I enjoyed my meal. I said yes, paid, left. It was not until I got home when I had to immediately go to the hospital after projectile vomiting for 3 hours. I honestly do not know what type of bacteria was in there but it was the only thing I had eaten that day and it had put me in the hospital for 3+ days with a really terrifying and painful infection in my intestines and severe heart rate issues. I understand that this could have happened to anyone but the whole experience in itself was terrible and became terrifying. I wish to never go back and I hope the health department can please look at the cleanliness of this business, because an omelet should not be causing a healthy young adult to end up hospitalized and in immense pain. read more

Coming from the Bay Area I have to say that the food was really good. What I like most about the food was the flavor and the classic traditional style ambience makes you feel like you're in mom's kitchen the minute we walked in we were approached by a gentleman who seated us right away. Arrived around 11:30am and there was already what looked like a long line. Tip, they have yelp waitlist to cut down on the wait but our party of 4 didn't have to wait that long - maybe 20mins max. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Aeirloom has plenty of gluten-free options. I ordered the Brie La La. It looked small when it came out but at the end, I felt that it was the right portion.
